Guest Reviews
- Simon (10/5): A great place to stay that balances character with all the needs of the modern visitor. - A wonderful quiet and cosy haven that was full of character and very comfortable. Located close to the excellent Unicorn pub and easy walking distance into town with its many attractions, eateries etc this is a perfect retreat. Hosts really responsive and helpful. Small but perfectly formed kitchen had all we needed for cooking, comfortable lounge diner, good bed with quality bedding and a great shower in a well appointed bathroom. Nothing - we couldn't have asked for more!
- Donna (10/5): Fabulous cottage - Beautiful little cottage, full of charm. Very, very comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom. Very cosy and well equipped. Quiet location, but well within walking distance to Ludlow. N/a
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely little cottage - A lovely little cottage and a great use of the space! The jam and crossiants on arrival were a lovely touch as well.
Really accessible for the town centre which is just a short walk away. It was also great to be able to park right outside the property 🙂 N/A
- Roger (9/5): Superb - Comfort and high quality fittings. Efficient and thoughtful use of space. Good instructions on access and equipment Nothing
- Judith (9/5): A perfectly formed tiny beamed, bijou , itsy bitsy cottage. - Such a lovely bijou cottage with original beams. Everything you needed was there and the host helpfully provided croissant butter and jam. Also lovely cut flowers on the table.
It's a good location with a walk into town or you can go around towards the river and towards the back of the castle.
It would be great if the owners could track down some of the history of the house from public records (free online) such as who was living there during census years but i am always fascinated by a cottage with history!! This house is about 500 years old I reckon. There's limited outside space but to be honest we were out and about most of the time. Outdoor chairs are provided under the stairs.
- Grant (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional - The house was clean, easy to access and provided all the home comforts we would expect.
It gave us access to lots of places to visit, close to shops and restaurants.
- Marion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abigail (10/5): Perfect - The location was perfect. The shower was amazing...such a good decision to use space for this in a tiny cottage. The details such as the quality hand soap really mattered. A chair outside would have been nice but prob not allowed in the passageway.,
- Fran (10/5): Exceptional - Had a wonderful 3 night stay in this super cute , super clean little cottage
Breakfast groceries were thoughtfully provided along with fresh flowers
Highly recommend
- Clare (10/5): Excellent property - Location, cleanliness and attention to detail N/A
- David (10/5): Exceptional - A charming little cottage, beautifully presented, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ludlow. No complaints. Any shortcomings were a result of the small size of the cottage, but that was part of the charm!
- Sue (10/5): Ludlow was a lovely town to visit and would definitely recommend this little cottage as well. - The property was very cute and full of character. It was walking distance into the town where there were many lovely restaurants. There was a Tesco’s very nearby which was handy to get supplies. It was an extra bonus to be able to park outside the property.
