• Park (10/5): 진짜 추천드려요 - 시기리야 버스정류장도 가깝고 숙소 앞에 마트, 식당도 많아서 위치는 최고에요. 체크인할때 직접 기르신 라임을 따서 주스를 만들어 주셨어요. 밤에 간간히 레스토랑 음악이 들리는데 늦은 저녁이면 꺼지기 때문에 정말 잘 잘수 있었어요. 아침마다 스리랑카 스타일의 조식도 주는데 제 입맛에는 안맞았지만 그건 중요하지 않았어요. 정성스럽고 깔끔한 조식인건 분명하니까요. 게스트룸 내부는 주인분의 정성이 가득 담겨져 있다는게 느껴졌어요. 숙소는 깔끔했고, 침대 매트리스도 좋았고, 따뜻한 물도 잘 나오고, 냄새는 없었으며, 에어컨도 잘 작동했어요. 냉장고는 없어요. 스리랑카에서 냉장고 있는 홈스테이는 거의 없는듯 해요. 생수를 사와서 맞겨달라고 부탁하면 친절하게 해주세요. 주인분이 뚝뚝을 운영하셔서 필요하면 미리 예약하고 합리적인 금액에 이용할 수 있어요. 시기리야락과 피두랑갈라도 걸어갈 수 있는 거리에요. 마지막날 요청한 조식시간보다 일찍 체크아웃을 해야했는데 버스정류장까지 조식을 포장해서 가져다 주셨어요. 정말 감동이였어요. 버스안에서 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 숙소후기 잘 안남기는데 이것 때문에 글 남겨요. 또 시기리야를 방문한다면 다시 가고 싶은 숙소에요. 여자 혼자 방문해도 안심 할 수 있어요. 게스트룸 옆에 호스트 가족이 살고 있으니까요. (부부와 두 딸). 게스트룸은 하나밖에 없다고 하니 이용가능한 룸이 있다면 바로 예약하는걸 추천드립니다. 괜찮아요

• Scott (10/5): - We had an excellent time in Sigiriya and Sashini Homestay was the perfect place for our time there. The homestay is centrally located and an easy walk to Sigiriya Rock, Pidurungala Rock, and Mapagala Fortress. Best of all though were the hosts - Chaminda and Kawshallya. They were so welcoming and helpful. We asked Chaminda to take us to Dambulla for the cave temple and Polonnaruwa. He was very helpful with the instructions. He also helped make arrangements for transportation to Negombo. Kawshallya is an excellent cook.  The breakfasts were different each day and so good, and filling! The curry dinners were outstanding. We were so happy we stayed at Sashini Homestay and would definitely stay again. Nothing

• Martin (9/5): - Very nice room, great owners (you can get amazing home made dinner and breakfast). Close to the sigiriya rock. The owner operates a tuk tuk! Very nice garden. It's close to the road with many restaurants and evening life - this may be a great pro for some while others may find it a bit noisy. Music turns off at 11pm anyway.

• Eric (10/5): - Das Sashini war die schönste Unterkunft die wir auf unserer Reise bisher hatten. Man hat sehr kurze Wege zu Restaurants und Events und die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber gewesen. Zudem waren die Besitzer super lieb und haben uns gute Tipps gegeben. Ein Freund des Besitzers hat mit uns eine einmalige Elefantensafari gemacht. Zusammenfassend einfach super!

Er ist zudem Tuktuk-Fahrer, was sehr praktisch ist - somit fuhr er uns jeweils zu unseren Wunschorten. Das Frühstück ist lecker und das Zimmer super. Wir können das Guesthouse nur empfehlen.

• Eva (10/5): - This accomodation was excellent. Comfortable bed, big room and big bathroom, perfect breakfasts and most importanly - the best host you can possibly imagine. Not only he was very friendly but also very helpful. He gave us valuable tips and even took us in his tuktuk to some places. I must say, should i ever come back to Sigiriya, i would seek this accommodation again. Totaly recommended! Nothing - it was 100% excellent

La chambre est conforme à la description et très propre, il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. L’emplacement est parfait proche de toutes les attractions à pied ou en tuktuk. Le gros plus de ce logement c’est la famille ils sont vraiment tous adorable, le petit déjeuné est délicieux. Nous avons fait un cours de cuisine avec la dame que je recommande, c’était vraiment délicieux. Le monsieur propose des services de tuktuk que je recommande également. Ils nous ont même organisé un super safari. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement nous avons passer un séjour extraordinaire MERCI.

• MOHAMMED (10/5): Authentic stay - We enjoyed a lovely stay here. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Every aspect of the homestay is authentic. The family is so kind and will help you with anything from their heart. The breakfast was lovely and included traditional foods. The dinner was spectacular. Best food we had in Sri Lanka. It is a must try! The room is large, clean, and has everything you need. The location is perfect to visit Lion Rock. The hosts can also take you for the sunrise view with their Tuktuk. 100% will come back in the future. Thanks for a lovely time in Sigiriya!

• Niek (10/5): - Wat een fantastisch verblijf was dit. De kamer is super schoon, het bed slaapt lekker en alles is in goede staat. Iedere ochtend werd er in overleg een uitgebreid ontbijt verzorgd. Daarnaast waren er een hoop extra's die we niet hadden verwacht. De eigenaar regelde voor ons een safari met een topchauffeur die ervoor zorgde dat we vanaf de beste plekken olifanten konden bekijken. Ook dacht de eigenaar mee over ons reisschema en heeft hij ons naar verschillende plekken met de tuktuk gebracht. Grote aanrader!

• Paula (10/5): - Estaba muy limpio, tenía mosquitera y aire acondicionado. El dueño y sus familiares muy atentos, muy buen desayuno y nos echaron una mano en todo lo que pudieron. Es una zona donde no hay muchos turistas pero muy bien ubicada con la roca del leon. Recomendamos en general contar con ciertas apps, tipo Pick Me para poder saber en general cuánto cuestan los traslados.

Very good location ,close to Lion Rock, on the main street surrouded by some restaurans and few small stores. The host has his own tuk-tuk and can help with transport to Pidurangala or around the area.I strongly recomand this homestay and wish to come back here. Nothing to dislike
• Marta (10/5): Estupendo, muy recomendable - La amabilidad del personal, estaban siempre disponibles para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos (transportes, preguntas sobre excursiones, recomendaciones...). Es una habitación en la casa de una familia local. La habitación estaba muy limpia y era muy amplia y moderna, con todo lo que se puede necesitar. El desayuno muy bueno, además nos lo sirvieron justo a la hora que les indicamos.
• Laura (10/5): 10/10! The best homestay we’ve ever had - The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough! Nothing it was perfect

• Daniel (10/5): Must visit in Sigiriya - The most incredible stay in Sigiriya. The accomodation is clean, comfortable and the bathroom is fantastic. The family are super friendly and made us feel at home from the first moment. We did a cooking class and Chaminda drove us to Dambulla to visit the temple. It has been our highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. A must visit. Not having a longer stay!

• Noa (9/5): Top Lage, Sauber, leckeres Frühstück - Super nette Familie mit süßen Hund! Der Hund ist in der Regel im Garten festgebunden, also wenn Sie keine Probleme mit Hunden haben, sagen Sie Bescheid, damit er frei rumlaufen kann. Der Familienvater hat mich mit seinem Tuk Tuk netterweise überall hin gefahren (die Fahrten waren etwas hochpreisiger, aber ich wollte die Familie so gerne unterstützen). Das Zimmer ist super sauber und das Frühstück reichlich mit großer Auswahl und typisch Sri Lankisch. Die Lage ist top!

• Meike (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft! - Wir haben zwei Nächte in dem gemütlichen Homestay verbracht. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Herzlichkeit der Familie, das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück, die Sauberkeit des Zimmers, das große Badezimmer und die Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage des Homestay ist perfekt. Nur eine Straße weiter ( 1-2 Minuten Fußweg) bieten zahlreiche Cafes und Restaurantes einen herrlichen Blick auf den Lions Rock. Das Shashini Homestay zählte zu den besten Unterkünften unserer dreiwöchigen Rundreise durch Sri Lanka. Es war alles perfekt!

L' habitació és nova i feta amb molt de gust i el bany inmillorable. Tota la familia han estat molt amables i la senyora cuina de meravella. Un sopar i un esmorzar tipics del pais, tot molt bo. Un lloc molt recomenable, sense cap dubte.

• Noah Ndukwe (10/5): Best stay in Sri Lanka - The host and his family were very welcoming and helpful with information and with taking you to the sites around. Breakfast was delicious with some dishes I hadn’t had before. The location is incredible, not far from Lions Rock and plenty of restaurants around close by. The room was impeccably clean and spacious. All around an amazing 2 night stay.
• Monika (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert - Sehr schönes Zimmer und modernes Bad. Lage war ebenfalls super und die Sicht auf den Lion Rock ist mehr oder weniger vor der Türe. Als wir angekommen sind, haben wir einen leckeren Saft bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr grosszügig und lecker. Total nette Familie und wir können diese Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen. Wenn gewünscht fahren sie einem auch mit dem Tuktuk (gegen Aufpreis).
• Maximilian (10/5): Unbedingt wieder!!! - Hier gibt es nur gutes zu berichten, angefangen bei dem schönem und sauberem Zimmer über das beste Frühstück das ich über den kompletten Sri Lanka Aufenthalt hatte bishin zu der wahnsinnig lieben und freundlichen Familie. Das einzige was wir bereuen ist dass wir nur 2 Nächte hier waren! 10 Punkte mehr als verdient!!!

Allerliebste, hilfsbereite Familie. Zimmer und Badezimmer neu, sehr gut ausgestattet und tip top sauber. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag eine andere unschlagbare Auswahl an einheimischen Spezialitäten und ebenso Rührei, Toast mit Butter und Konfitüre und feine exotische Früchte. Zum Abendessen gab es das beste Curry unserer 15 tägigen Sri Lanka Reise! Preisleistung ist unschlagbar!!.. Sashini Homestay ist unbedingt empfehlenswert, wenn man gerne Land und Leute kennenlernt. nichts - alles perfekt

Kaushalya nous a fait des petits déjeuner copieux qui nous ont permis de découvrir un grand nombre de spécialités Sri lankaises (nos meilleurs petits déjeuners au Sri Lanka) ! Chaminda nous a également emmener visiter les principaux lieux touristiques de Sigirîya et autour. Il est très disponible pour nous conseiller sur les choses à voir, où manger et se tiens à notre disposition pour les trajets en Tuktuk. La rue a l’avantage d’être animée et l’inconvénient que ça puisse déranger le soir.

• Alisha (10/5): Home away from home! ❤️ - Stay at Sashini Homestay if you want an authentic experience and a chance to meet the loveliest family. Chaminder and his family are so friendly and welcoming. The property is super centrally located - opposite major restaurants and walking distance from sigriya rock. Chaminder has a tuk tuk and can arrange trips to Pidurangala and Dambulla for great prices. His wife makes the most amazing food and I’d recommend trying her rice and curry. This was hands down the best breakfast i had in all of Sri Lanka - with different options every morning and a chance to try different delicacies. There is only 1 room available so dont hesitate to book! Only staying for 2 nights. I would love to stay longer next time!

• HARUKA (10/5): - ・シギリヤロックやダンブッラ行きのバス停まで歩いて行ける ・お母さんの作るご飯が本当においしい ・お父さんが日の出/日の入りに合わせて送迎をしてくれる ・シャワースペースが広くて清潔 食事は外で行うのでハエがたくさんいましたが、立地上しょうがないと思います。（お母さんがお皿にカバーをしてくれました。）

Die Unterkunft liegt so nah, dass man am Abend die Bars hören kann, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat, da die Bars in der Nacht wieder leise waren.

The location is perfect, close to all the sights and also a lot of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The breakfast was soooo good and so much different sri lankan specialties :) also the curry we had for dinner was homemade with special flavors and taste. It was not my first time in Sri Lanka but this is really the best curry I ever had. Also the host family is so nice and thank you for playing with our two year old. He loved your baby cat so much

It is so affordable, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the location is perfect with restaurants at your doorstep and a view of Sigirya rock just outside the property. But the best part of this accomodation is the host family, who do everything to make your stay perfect and with genuine care. We also did a cooking class with mum and grandma which was so interesting and many laughs and the breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had. At the end we were so sad to leave but hope to return one day to stay again as we feel like family members. Thank you to Saji, your wife, parents and beautiful daughters for our amazing memories of Sri Lanka.

Notre hote est aussi chauffeur de tuk tuk et nous a donné de bons conseils pour les visites des lieux. Une seule chambre mise en location, depuis 1 an. Merci à eux pour tout ! Certainement notre meilleur logement au Sri Lanka ! De ne pas être resté plus longtemps...
• Lisa (10/5): Toller Aufenthalt in Sigiriya - Die Lage war sehr gut und das Essen war lecker. Die Familie hat uns sehr liebevoll aufgenommen und sich gut um uns gekümmert.
• AGNES (10/5): Exceptionnel - Adorable family, good exchanges and advice for organizing visits. The best room and bathroom in terms of comfort, equipment and cleanliness that we have. Dinner and breakfast are there for quality and quantity. I recommend.!
• Nicole (10/5): - Die ganze Familie ist unfassbar nett und herzlich, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. An meinem Geburtstag wurde ich mit Blumen, einer kleinen Geburtstagstorte mit Kerzen und Musik in ihrem privaten, extra für mich geschmückten Wohnzimmer, überrascht! Die Überraschung wurde von der Tochter gefilmt, die mir das Video später schickte. Das war alles so süß und liebevoll vorbereitet! Das Badezimmer war das schönste, was wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Es wurde jeden Morgen zur gewünschten Uhrzeit (egal, wie früh) ein sehr umfangreiches Frühstück serviert. Das auf dem Foto abgebildete 2. Bett wird nur bei Bedarf in das Zimmer gestellt, dann wird es aber auch eher eng.

• Irene (10/5): EL sitio. - Sashini Homestay fue el mejor alojamiento de nuestra estancia en Sri Lanka. Es una casa familiar con jardín y mejor servicio que un hotel. La familia te hace sentir como uno más, son super amables, atentos y nos ayudaron a sacarle el máximo partido a nuestra estancia en Sigiriya. La localización es inmejorable, con vistas a Lion Rock y a 15 min andando de este. Tiene bares y restaurantes alrededor. La limpieza es impecable, cosa a destacar porque es muy dificil de encontrar en Sri Lanka. Por ese precio, no nos imaginamos semejante alojamiento. Repetiremos seguro. Sólo nos quedamos una noche, y lo único ajeno al homestay, es que por su buenísima localización, escuchamos música de los bares hasta las 00:00. Nada terrible ni super alto, y sobre todo, que no se arregle con unos tapones si te cuesta dormir.
• Qi Hui (10/5): Great stay with wonderful family and within walking distance to Lion Rock - We enjoyed our 1 night stay here! Chaminda and his family were friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The room was of a good size for the two of us, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water were acceptable. It was walking distance to Lion Rock and I also liked that Chaminda shared about the other tours or rides that he can offer (he has a tuktuk) without being pushy, and he gave us complimentary rides a couple of times too. They also provided us with a superb breakfast which included some traditional Sri Lankan food. Do note that they have a dog (which was chained) and a kitten. There were a few mosquitoes and flies in the room (quite typical in Sri Lanka) but after awhile, they were gone (might have been due to the electric pest repellent). And they didn’t bother us at all. There’s also a mosquito net that can be used to cover the bed but we didn’t have to use that. We would stay here again! Nothing

• Sylke (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft, absolut zu empfehlen! - Super zentrale Lage, geräumig, bisher meine sauberste Unterkunft in Sri Lanka und wunderbare Gastgeber! Chaminda, der Tuktuk-Fahrer ist, hat super Tipps und bringt einen überall hin zu mehr als fairen Preisen. Geheimtipp: seine Viewpoint-Tour, unbedingt machen!! Seine Frau macht großartiges Frühstück, wobei man sich durch verschiedenste singhalesische Spezialitäten probieren kann. Auch die beiden Töchter sind goldig. Das Bett ist etwas durchgelegen, das Moskitonetz passt nicht ganz um das Bett und wer lärmempfindlich ist, sollte wissen, dass es schonmal laute Musik von den Nachbarcafés geben kann (von vorbeisausenden Tuktuks und nächtlichen Hundekämpfen mal abgesehen).

• Diego (10/5): UNA STRUTTURA SUPER CONSIGLIATA !!! - Tutto !! Struttura pulita famiglia adorabile, colazione SUPER ! Acqua calda Materasso pulito e lenzuola pulite ! Aria condizionata con filtri puliti cosa che spesso non capita ! Ci e’ piaciuto tutto !!
• Aleksei (10/5): волшебный отдых в Сигирии - Чаминда и его семья - самые гостеприимные хосты в нашем путешествии по Шри-Ланке. чистейший номер , всё новое, просторно, есть чайник, чай/кофе/вода. Мы попросили приготовить нам традиционный ужин, и это был самый восхитительный ужин в нашем двухнедельном путешествии, за очень небольшую экстра плату. А включенный в проживание завтрак был просто безумно вкусен и разнообразен. Чаминда также может организовать обзорную экскурсию по основным достопримечательностям на тук туке.
