• Hadas (9/5): בית נעים עם מארחים מקסימים! - סגרי וסיסי זוג מהמם! אנשים טובים ואכפתיים! הרגשתי שהגעתי לבית של סבא וסבתא שדואגים שאני ירגיש הכי טוב שאפשר! מרגע שהגעתי לשדה התעופה בבגדוגרה הם עזרו לי ועד הרגע שעזבתי- דאגו למונית שתהיה לי נוחה, לאוכל לפי מה שביקשתי ולנוחות במתן הצרכים השונים שלי. התנאים של האירוח היו ברמה בסיסית, נעימה, נוחה ועם לב טוב!!! הגעתי בימים של מזג אוויר מבאס, אז לא נהניתי מהמרחב והיה לי קר... לקחתי את החדר הזול, כי כך רציתי, אבל כן הרגשתי שזה חבל שאין לי חלון בחדר.
• Rangan (10/5): Himalok Heart & Hearth - The accommodations were highly satisfactory, and the staff provided exceptional service. Furthermore, the room offered an unparalleled view, which was the highlight of the stay. While it is impossible to accommodate every request, I highly recommend providing guests with a kettle and a selection of tea, coffee, powdered milk, and sugar. Additionally, a water filter is an essential amenity for families traveling with children.
• Lena (10/5): - I'm so happy I found Himalok Homestay! It was one of the best homestays I've stayed at in India. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, there's a nice balcony and warm blankets and heated mattress are provided so the nights were really comfortable. The view from the room and the rooftop is spectacular. Although the mountains and Kanchenjunga are not visible this time of the year, you have a lovely view on the surrounding hills and town. I enjoyed having breakfast there between the beautiful plants and flowers every morning. The location is great, a little outside of the town but still walkable (you would also find cabs on the main road). The best part, however, was the hospitality of the hosts. Sagar ji is incredibly kind and helpful, arranging transport for me and fixing the shower immediately when there was no water on the first night. And Sashi ji prepares delicious food, which I always looked forward to during the day. The whole family made sure that I felt at home, had everything I needed and gave nice suggestions for walks and activities nearby. The stay exceeded my expectations and I will definitely recommend this place and hope to one day visit again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
• Prasanna (10/5): It was a short stay .share taxies are available to go to mall road. - The home stay owner is very helping in nature . If you are interested about homely food you can get here. The home stay is near dali fatak as informed. He was available to receive the tourist. Nothing.
• Frances (10/5): Lovely caring hosts, ready to assist in any and all matters. - Kind and caring hosts. Delicious home cooking. Abundant hot water in an especially chilly week. Sagar was very helpful in suggesting things to do and in securing local travel arrangements. Extremely attentive and considerate hosts. Excellent value for money. A very welcoming Homestay. On busy days the taxi ride into town is slow. But the walk from above the busy main road is quiet and pleasant. Not all rooms have window or balcony, so do request best room.

The location offers stunning views of the mountains, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with a cozy vibe that matched the charm of the surroundings. We especially appreciated the delicious home-cooked meals—they were a real highlight and gave us a taste of authentic local flavors. Our kids enjoyed the open space around the homestay and it felt safe and family-friendly throughout. The hosts also helped us plan local sightseeing and shared helpful tips, which made our experience even better. Overall, Himalok Homestay exceeded our expectations and gave us lasting memories of Darjeeling. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and homely place to stay in the hills. Since it's the hill's parking could be a problem if you decide to bring your personal transport.

• Saraswati (10/5): Overall experience to Himalok Homestay was very memorable part of our trip to Darjeeling - View of Mount Kanchenjunga from the balcony was breathtaking. Mr Sagar Pradhan and Shashi were very nice hosts who took care of our day to day needs in a very efficiently and polite way. The connectivity from the property was very good. The sharing taxis and cab services are a few steps away from property.   Mr Sagar Pradhan and Shashi are nice people and always ready to help guests which makes our stay at Darjeeling more comfortable. The stay at Himalok homestay made our trip to Darjeeling memorable.  This place is highly recommended to travel to Darjeeling.

• Ange (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the location, the views from the bedroom balcony and terrace were exceptional. If it's a clear day you can see kanchedzonga, part of the Himalayan range. There are lots to see and do. Sagar and his family made me feel really welcome and at home. I would recommend staying at this welcoming homestay, beautifully well kept and exceptionally clean. Very helpful if anything needed to be arranged or organised. Thankyou to the Sagar family.

• Rahul (9/5): Reasonable priced home stay with wonderful hosts and excellent value for money - Clean and satisfactorily maintained home stay property located slightly before reaching Darjeeling. The rooms are fairly large with a small balcony with amazing views. The hosts are wonderful and ready to attend to all your needs. Home cooked food available at the property is really good and reasonably priced with large portions. You will need to take a shared taxi ride to commute to and from Darjeeling town center.
