• Lori (10/5): Terrific location, accommodations & staff!! - We loved staying here in the Exiample District of Barcelona. It was convenient to walk everywhere. This property was very responsive with communication and when we arrived were let in immediately into the building. And our room was even ready before the 3:00 pm check-in time. Barbara, the property manager on site, was terrific! She was so nice, sweet and knowledgeable. Our booking went so smoothly. The Violetta Boutique Hotel was just perfect and we would stay there again! Don't hesitate to book this!!

Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had a small balcony. Decor was modern and stylish. Staff was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage safely before and after check-in/check-out. Highly recommend and will definitely return! Nothing! Our stay was PERFECT!

• Florian (9/5): - Clean place with a lovely view over the street. The staff was extremely nice and let us store the luggage a bit after hours and also helped us with some things we left behind. The bed was extremely uncomfortable because it was the extra soft type, where you sink in. A nightmare for my back, but some may prefer this style. There is an elevator, but it still requires some going up and down stairs, so be mindful of that if you have accessibility issues.

The bedroom was specious with very comfortable beds and the most important factor for me is to be very clean which it was. The two young gentlemen at the reception were very helpful, kind and welcoming. Victor and Phillip thank you for your excellent service and professionalism. The bathroom lighting wasnt sufficient.

• James (5/5): More hostel than boutique hotel - Bedroom was a good size. The entrance to the building in which this hotel is situated reeks of drains. Bathroom quite dated and shower took five minutes to run hot. Aircon control in the reception area outside of the room. This place might impress youngsters who have only ever stayed in hostels, but boutique hotel it is not. By way of comparison, the same weekend my wife and daughters stayed up the road in Suite Centers for pretty much the same cost and it was far better.

• Rita (10/5): Excellent stay, amazing staff, definitely would stay there again! - The staff is super nice! Great location! We had a bit of an issue with our room and decided to leave 1 night early. The staff did such an amazing job to get the issue resolved. They gave us a bottle of champagne, chocolates, offer to change our room and refund for our last night stay. However I already had another location booked closer to the airport as we were leaving Barcelona early the next morning.

It's close to the metro and there are brilliant restaurants right around the corner. We travelled with an 11 year old and the room was spacious and had a beautiful terrace overlooking the street. The street was busy but the noise wasn't too much, I highly recommend this spot for visiting Barcelona. The staff are so friendly too and there's a small surprise breakfast that was a lovely touch. Por decir algo, que el front cierre a las 17. Nos pasó que cuando llegamos de noche no teníamos agua caliente y tuvimos que llamar x teléfono. Era tarde y no pudieron en hacer nada…. Pero al otro día solucionaron todo, lo cual se agradece.

Konumu mükemmel, her yere maksimum yarım saat yürüyüşle ulaşabildik, kahvaltı servisi yok ama sabahları gayet yeterli atıştırmalık çörekler, portakal suyu, süt gibi ikramları var, odalar kocaman ve tertemiz. Odalarda kahve makinesi, kettle, buzdolabı mevcut. Otele girer girmez mis gibi temizlik kokusu karşılıyor. Çok keyifli bir terası var, dinlenmek için çok güzel alan. Eski bir bina olduğu için küçük de olsa asansörü var. Kısacası fiyat/performans olarak çok çok iyi! Herşeyden çok memnun kaldık. Sevmediğimiz bir yanı yok, herşey keyifliydi.

Token breakfast was nice but you have to be there at 9 or people take more than they need and theres nothing left for others. Noise from outside both road and people all night. Even my husband who sleeps most things had to buy ear plugs Reception was part time, they left early. They wwre responsive on the emergency phone when we had an issue and sorted it quickly.
