• Petra (8/5): Gemütlich und ruhig gelegen… trotzdem zentral - Es war für uns Beide sehr geräumig und ist auch für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern geeignet. Die Möbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sie sind hochwertig und schön. Leider hatten wir 2 Tage Regen, da war es toll Abends Dennison anmachen zu können. Alle Restaurants haben wir innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Wir haben die Unterkunft schlecht gefunden, da dort keine Hausnummern standen. Außerdem führt ein sehr holpriger Sandweg dort hin. Immer Richtung „Berge“ fahren.

• Monique (9/5): - Wonderful spacious home. I'm a neat freak and I really appreciate how spotless/clean this house was. I also appreciated the nice water pressure in the shower and the large mirrors. Will definirely book again. I really can't fault this place.
• du Toit (10/5): Little heaven on earth - Everything that you needed was available and clean. The room was big and comfortable. The area was so quiet. This is the place to just relax and enjoy the rest and beauty of the surrounding mountains. Friendly people and good service wherever you go. To leave such peacefull place and return to the noise in your hometown.

• Charlotte (10/5): Peacefull Bliss! - Rooiland is like a home away from home. We love the privacy and the comfort of the house. Rhe mountain view is spectacular. There is nothing not to like, the only thing is that time flies and you always wish you can stay longer.

The guesthouse had everything we could need for our comfort. The road up to the guesthouse was a little dodge, but thankfully only for a short distance.

• Ryksen (9/5): Heerlike verblyf, pragtige uitsig en tuin - Tuinsig eenheid was baie goed, ons het heerlik gebly. Alles was baie skoon en gerieflik. Ons sal definitief weer kom! Die slaapkamermat kan dalk met gelamineerde houtvloere of vinielvloere vervang word. Verder was alles baie goed, skoon en gerieflik.

• Trevor (7/5): Conveniently located and well equipped cottage - It was very convenient and in a lovely setting. The beds weren’t very comfortable. Although they apologised in advance about the WiFi and offers us an alternative cottage it was a pity it wasn’t working in the first place.

Even Cellphone connections ( if you happen to forget yours at home) Little messages left around the house to help us. Really recommned the place. We had a problem with the hot water in the bath at night. Showering in the morning, there wasn't a problem. Perhaps increasing the water temperature now it is getting cooler.

• Anro (3/5): Disappointed in the lack of planning around known problems. - The location was the highlight at the foot of a picturesque mountain. There was a lack of planning around known water problems. When there was water it was dirty and smelled of sewage. There was no water backup or filtration on the premises despite the ongoing issues. The bedroom smelled of dust and we struggled breathing throughout the night. The carpeted bedroom definitely needs to be refreshed.

We had the Mountain view cabin which would be perfect for a group of 4-6 with great hosting areas like the braai area. We shared the property with another family, which eliminated privacy. They would make use of our cabin's porch while we were inside the cabin. The other cabin's bathroom/living room is right next to the main bedroom and the walls are seemingly thin, as we could hear everything they were doing. They were also quite loud until late hours and up early hours, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest.

• Charlotte (10/5): One of the most wonderful stays we ever had - The stay exceeded all expectations. we travel a lot and it was one of the best places/units we ever stayed in. It will definably be our choice for accommodation in Clarens for future stays The road in front of the property is not maintained by the town council and is gravel. The owners cannot accommodate for it. Lots of the roads in town not around the main area is unkept.

Honest cleaners. - NA I personally think without a big expenditure you can solar light up the property more. I walked from town at night and could not see the entrance to my place. Especially a light at the entrance. Did not feel safe outside because of no light.
