• Denys (8/5): - Really nice place with a friendly backpacker atmosphere. There are a lot of young travelers, so it’s easy to meet people and hang out together. The room itself is pretty simple, but for the price it’s absolutely fine and comfortable enough. Special thanks to the kind and helpful staff — everyone was very positive, welcoming, and created a warm friendly vibe in the hostel.

Even though I came alone, it didn’t feel like it. Even with the fan on, I’m not getting enough airflow

• Aradhya (10/5): Sweetest spot in varkala - One of the best place in varkala. I loved the vibe and its perfect for the girls gang. It's calm n chill best for a getaway. I love how it feels homely n the girls here made me feel so happy and comfortable munch art n hema you guys made it special for me as a solo traveler. I loved the activities they had especially the beach walk and cricket night. Love love love for the KKT . Leaving was the hardest part thankyou for the memories I will be coming soon

I loved how they organized surfing and meditation sessions - perfect for someone like me who was traveling solo. The prices were super reasonable, and I got to meet some awesome people who became good friends. If you're new to solo travel, I totally recommend this place! You'll have a blast and make some great connections 😊. Activities that I chose to do is meditation on the beach and surfing. Both were new to me but the instructors took a really good time to teach and clarify any doubts. My best experience. Only leaving the hostel .. saying goodbye was something hard.. 🤍

The worst was, second or third day after leaving the hostel, I received a call from a guy from Kulture Konnect almost midnight at 11:57pm asking for a REVIEW. I was not planning to write the review as I generally let it slide if I dont feel good about a place, but the phone call late at night felt really annoying and thats why I am writing this.

The ambience was calm and perfect for unwinding—surrounded by nature and the soothing sound of the sea. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Service was prompt.. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably laid out. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with genuinely good service, this place in Varkala is highly recommended.

The rooftop terrace is perfect for sunsets and chilling with other travelers. The hosts are incredibly polite, helpful, and always ready to guide you to hidden gems around town. Whitey, the adorable in-house dog, will even walk you to the gate! Great Wi-Fi, comfortable beds with lockers, and a friendly vibe make it ideal for solo travelers, digital nomads, or anyone seeking a peaceful yet social stay near Varkala Cliff.

They guarantee a great time, never a dull moment. The Beach is at a walkable distance and hostel is surrounded by lush green trees, which gives the vibe of a hill station, so serene. To sum it up highly recommend it.

Hotels, beaches and cliffs all are close to this property. I got a lot of friends from this hostel. It's always hard to leave this place after a vacation.

The wifi and the network in the location were pretty bad, so it is not really suggested for people working during their stay. The homestay is relatively small; is ideal for solo travellers. It is better to book a hotel room if you're travelling with family. Food options are limited within the stay.

Shower had no hot water at all (like, not even possible). Location was kind of inconvenient. I only stayed one night before moving to somewhere nicer. Power blipped and there didn't seem to be a backup generator.

Good food from their chef, and great place for a solo traveller or couples. Cliff side and beaches are walkable distance and they also have amenities shop near by. They were able to arrange bike rentals, and cabs. They were also able to guide me to go to the apt locations and tourist spots.

The owners treat you like family, take you to the beautiful cliff beach in the evenings, and guide you to the best places to visit. They also assist with bike rentals and transportation, making everything hassle-free. The location is perfect—near the cliff beach and the main road. The hostel is clean, cozy, and offers multiple food options. Whether you're traveling solo or with friends, this is the ideal place to stay. Highly recommended!

It's located in walkable distance to varkala cliff beach and it's spacious kitchen is perfect for cooking your own meals, and the dining hall is clean and well-organized. There's also a cozy lounge area with soft seating, ideal for relaxing and socializing, ample parking and surrounded by lush trees, offering a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The ambiance is amazing, and it’s all at a very affordable price. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Varkala!

Wifi was great when there was no powercut (these were out of the hostels hands though)! We did not have a cupboard in our room. The water was not hot, and the bathroom was not well designed. Relatively expensive for what you get, but Varkala itself seems to be a bit pricy.

• Lisa (9/5): Big recommendation I would definitely come back. - Great place with a very friendly host. It’s located in a quiet street to ensure a good night’s sleep. Clean with a huge kitchen and many different chill out areas. Not too far away from the seaside neither. The non Ac dorm is very packed and small.
