- Pieta (5/5): Not bad but definitely not worth the price. - The living space was very spacious and comfortable Very small kitchen. A little bit run down with cobwebs in the bedroom. Also towels smelt a bit of cigarette smoke and crusty. Unfortunately didn’t think the place was worth the expensive cost for a night. We understand it’s a remote location but Should have been reasonably priced compared with the rest of Scotland.

- Jeannette (7/5): Good - Quaint lochside town.
Quiet location.
Owner responsive when called as couldn't locate wifi login info. House would benefit from further modernizing without losing charm.
Would benefit from clearing out closets, cupboards, etc.
Towels likely dried outside, so presented as wrinkled and quite stiff.
Lack of written information packet in unit.
- Iain (8/5): Well kitted-out, cosy cottage - The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen had a wide range of cutlery and utensils, and plenty of storage space. It was useful to have a utility room for washing and drying clothes. Having a vestibule to store shoes and jackets was ideal, especially with our stay being a wet period. It was nice to have the option of a bath as well as a shower. The beds were very comfortable and it was cosy. Being close to the village cafés and restaurant were also a bonus and it was easy to get parked outside. Checking in and out were seamless thanks to the key box. Having a key box also helped when going out as you didn't need to worry about who had the key. One slight downside was having a separate kitchen, having been used to an open plan kitchen and living area at home.
- Rosemary (10/5): Exceptional - This is a charming cottage that was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. The location is fantastic and we can't wait to return.
- Carolyn (8/5): The location was where we had chosen to carry out the trips we wanted to make from that area. - Lovely area and a good base for getting to many other places, cottage was acceptable though would benefit some better fittings many of the windows where In need of repair the kitchen was very cold the handle on the window opener loose and could not close securely with no form of heating other than the oven. cutlery very vintage and towels not good! I would definitely recommend you take your own Towels as we had done from having come across the same experience at other places, It Is a nice location and Imagine they can get bookings regardless as demand for the location would secure bookings though It does not mean the aforementioned should not be improved on given It Is the start of the accommodation season In the highlands, we had stayed In an Immaculate property on the east coast of the highlands for a less cost the previous week which Is where you really notice the difference of experience, I have met many holiday makers finding property not meeting their expectations for the prices which have started to be quite astounding for some property In the highlands. Bathroom dated sink being obstructed with glass shelf, old tired bath and taps, towels I would have thrown away years ago they're only £5 -£10 In all supermarkets our stay in mid March cost £128 a night over four nights so expect that rate to be much higher by summer and Imagine there will be unhappy holidaymakers as time goes by without any improvements carried out.

- Candis (10/5): Loved our stay here. - Beautiful location, a good base for our activities in the area. The street was pretty quiet, little to no noise at night. Both of us are quite noise-sensitive so this was appreciated. The entertainment/streaming options were nice and easy to figure out. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable. The home was tidy. Parking along the street was never a problem. We had difficulty throughout Scotland making local calls from our US phones, so a landline would've been nice to have available in a pinch. Wifi was available but sluggish. We panicked when we couldn't figure out how to lock the front door from the outside (and our calls to the owner weren't going through) but a kind neighbor helped us.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Rob (9/5): Great cottage in a scenic village. - Great house on the main street in the beautiful village of Lochcarron, overlooking the loch. Convenient for all the shops, pubs, cafes etc.
The house was well sized throughout with all the equipment and furnishings you need. Good wifi as well. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to a request we had. Great stay. No
- Geoffrey (8/5): good , otherwise see above - N/A The location of the entrance key , it was located 6 inches from the ground level ,with a 4 digit number to gain entry .It was dry when we arrived , but if it had been raining I would have become very wet .I am 80 years of age and did not find it easy to bring my head down to 6 inches from the ground to read the number .Really silly location of the key .
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - Location. Cottage.
- Kenneth (10/5): Cosy and beautiful - Cosy and comfortable. Lovely viewpoint of the Loch. Perfect for dog owners. Would definitely recommend to others. Nothing at all
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (8/5): Great base for explorers - Very spacious cottage with a great lounge to spend the evenings together (especially the couches were very comfy). Lochcarron is a great base to explore the area, and we especially appreciated the utility room to dry our hiking clothes and gear after a day in the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped too, we only missed the dishwasher. :) Overall the place is a bit dark but with most of the daytime spent outside this wasn't too much of an issue.
- Brenda (8/5): Very good -
- Forsyth (7/5): Good - Found it inappropriate to be expected to strip beds and pack up for cleaner it is after all a holiday you would not expect to do it in a hotel
- Jon (7/5): Lovely cottage in a spectacular location. Perfect for a week-long stay for a family. - Felt like a classic cottage. Vintage-feel but not “old.” Great views from just outside. Nice garden out back. We never quite figured out the TV, but we were out all day anyway.
