• Lesley (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed or time at Trefusis Cottage. Other than the safety problem with the exit doors to back deck and ya - The cottage is lovely and overall very comfortable in a great location. Well presented with a beautiful garden. It was very homely and welcoming. Could not open doors to deck. It took 3 days of trying. The key unlocked the sliding doors but they would not open. I called Blue Mountain Escapes and was advised to “juggle the doors whilst unlocking them as they get stuck”. As this is the evacuation access to back yard this situation would fail a WHS audit. For safety reasons, this needs to be rectified as a matter of urgency. On a less urgent note, the creaking bed in main bedroom could also be repaired.

• David (10/5): Lovely place for a family weekend away - Lovely cosy cottage within very short walk into town and the station. Bush walked on nice days and did puzzles in the cold nights.
• Nora (9/5): Wonderful Cottage, would stay again, just fix your communication - The cottage is beautifully appointed, met and even exceeded our expectations. The kitchen has everything you need for a self cater, just perfect! The bathrooms were wonderful with the heated floor and towel rails. We would certainly return when next in Blackheath. The only issue was that between the contact from booking.com and the Blue Mountains Escapes we receive 17 emails, 7 text messages and require 1 phone call. This booking was fully paid from the inital contact, so the numerous emails and text messages were rather off putting.
• Heinz (10/5): Excellent. Would stay again - Level of finish and amenites superior there could have been a light at the gate area, as there are 3 steps that are hard to see in the dark
• Carmen (9/5): Superb - Great house, very comfortable for 5-6 people, well located (walk to restaurants, Sunday Farmers Market etc), very well equipped kitchen and lovely ambience for a weekend away.

• Lane (6/5): Great place. Besides the flies upon arrival. - House itself was lovely. Great features and amenities. Beds were good and house is just comfortable. Unsure if maybe rubbish/food was left by previous guests inside the house but when I arrived the house had about 100 flies inside like food waste was left inside and flies were getting to it. Had to open up the whole house upon arrival and try to get the lingering flies out. They were in all bedrooms. Kitchen. Bathroom etc.

• John (10/5): Excellent cottage in an excellent location. - Trefusis cottage was delightful, set in an ideal location to visit the Blue Mountains. Very comfortable house with all our needs available, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, fab barbecue area and very private. Loved the warming radiator towel rails in the bathroom. Little touches that made the stay 10/10. A little welcome pack is always a nice touch.

• Kelly (9/5): Loved this cottage. Highly recommend if you're staying in Blackheath. - Fantastic location close to everything. Beautifully laid out cottage. Owners have put a lot of thought into the decor and really gives a fantastic feeling when you walk in. Supplying us with a bag of firewood was a great touch. The only complaint I have is that on arrival there was no milk in the fridge. I was aware that I would have to purchase supplies however on arriving at the cottage I expected to be able to have a coffee, unpack and then go down to the supermarket to get the supplies I needed. This is my only complaint as everything else was on point.
