• ClareAnn (5/5): Put the heat on and spruce up the bathroom please - Quit and comfy beds The room & bathroom were quite cold and the heat was not on. Also, there is no where to set your belongings or clothes when using the bathroom. No hooks, no stand, etc… Don’t want to put my toiletries & clothes on the toilet seat or floor. There is plenty of room for a stand, shelf or table. Why is there not a toilet paper holder? I suggest the owner try to use the bathroom as a guest would and they would quickly find out what is needed.

• Meredith (10/5): It was short but - It was in a beautiful setting in a the country and the cows were a joy to wake up to. The house was very clean and the guest stayed up late to greet us as we arrived late. Not there long enough to not enjoy anything.

• Maëlle (8/5): Comfy and welcoming home. - We arrived and were welcomed by Aidan and his wife and dog. The room was confortable with a private bathroom attached but not in suite. Was great location and easy to find with the direction provided ahead. :) Very calm surroundings but there seems to be no insolation in the walls. Therefore we would hear the other guests in the bathroom.

• Claudia (9/5): - Bellissima villa in campagna. Molto curata, molto bella. Il proprietario veramente gentile, ci ha aspettato fino alle 22 di sera perchè essendo fuori dal centro abitato e lontano da Limmerick abbiamo preferito cenare e dopo andare alla struttura. La camera è molto spaziosa, un LETTO COMODISSIMO (la mattina mi sono svegliata tardissimo). Bagno bellissimo pulitissimo. Ci sono le sedie per appoggiare le cose e un bell'armadio. Molto silenziosa sia la casa che esternamente. Il giardino è molto curato e verde verde. Non cè la colazione purtroppo, ma siamo stati benissimo veramente. Siamo stati una sola notte, eravamo di passaggio. Consigliatissimo soprattutto a chi piace la campagna aperta. Tutto perfetto.

• Zoe (9/5): Amazing house with comfy bed - The house is beautiful and only 10 minutes from Adare, bed was super comfy and coffee & tea available in the morning. Hottub advertised was a jacuzzi bath that was out of order.
• Maria (9/5): Habitación confortable. - La habitación muy coqueta. Los afintriones muy simpaticos y agradables. Ubicación cerca de Adare. HUbieramos preferido baño en la habitación, pero tampoco fue ningun problema.
• Alan (7/5): - Location was fantastic. The hostess greeted us when we arrived and then disappeared, never to be seen again. She showed us our small room with a double bed and showed us our private bathroom down the hall. No TV in the room, if there was internet we weren't shown how to access it. If you only require a clean small room small double bed, bathroom down the hall, no interaction with the owner great location then this is the place for you.

• Tom (8/5): Comfortable stay for two nights. - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.. I let myself in using a in a lock box and then went to my room. I didn’t see any staff during my stay, but there was fresh towels and 2 bottles of water left outside my room on the second night.

• Diego (7/5): Good stay in a good location with a welcoming host - Great information for our stay on where to eat. Very friendly and easy‑going host. Clean place and conveniently close to Adare. The room felt quite basic for the price. We also suggest adding midges screens to the windows as summer evenings can be warm and you might want to leave them open.

He gives detailed explanation and directions to find the place and recommendations for dining. We had a coffee and biscuits (cookies to us americans) and a great conversation. Great host

• Kenda (10/5): Country Hideaway - a convenient and comfortable homestay to explore Adare and Limerick - What a beautiful location, slightly rural, yet so close to fun places to explore. We wanted to visit Adare and Limerick, and we found Country Hideaway a fitting option since it had parking and was fairly priced. Our room overlooked a field of cows :). Our host, Aiden, was wonderfully welcoming, as was his adorable dog Cooper! The restroom is shared, but we never met another guest, so we had it to ourselves. You have access to the kitchen, so you can make tea or coffee. If you head to Adare, there's great food and pubs with live music- 5 minute drive away. I'd recommend you check out Country Hideaway.

We were attending a wedding in Adare and Aidan drove us to the venue once we arrived. He went above and beyond. Fabulous home, super comfy bed and everything was spotless clean. Thanks for a fab stay Aidan.

• Michael (3/5): Totally odd, bleak experience, void of human connection. - The goldendoodle & the cat. Firstly the property was extremely difficult to find. We were only 10 minutes away when we made the booking, but it took us 45 minutes and the help of several locals to help us navigate our way there. Finally we found a farmer who had lived there his entire life, he’d never heard of a B&B on that road, but he was able to decipher the directions of the location because of his knowledge the local property navigations. He actually gave us his time and drove his car ahead of us to show us exactly where the place was. No signage. No remarkable features that suggests it’s a B&B. Just as we got out of our car parked in the B&B driveway, the owner finally got back in touch with us. Poor dog was so lonely & overjoyed to see someone. We gave him lots of pats and hugs. The owner arrived home only a couple of minutes after us, but stayed in his parked car until we unpacked & were settled into our room. Very odd. No tea or coffee making facilities. Errr, no breakfast at this B&B. Shared bathroom only. Used towel in our bedroom, used wet hand towel & dirty wash basin. We did not see or met the owner or anyone else running the place the whole time we were there. Just a totally odd, bleak experience. We couldn’t wait to leave.

• Kass (1/5): Bad - Bed was very comfortable The host is clearly never there and has a young dog who is left to roam all day every day out the back ,using a shock collar and electric fence to keep it confined. It is left there all day and somebody is sent to bring it in at night to be locked in a cage all night that it has no room to move or not even water given. Poor dog cries and barks for we witnessed several hours ,this started approx 8:30 pm and the poor thing was still locked up at 8'30 in the morning when we left for the day ,god knows when somebody came to let it out . Was very distressing as animal lovers to see this . We booked for 2 nights but couldn't face staying the 2nd night and listen to the dog bark in distress again ,so we had to book something else . The house had a cold , unwelcome feel about it, very minimal and basic amenities considering the price paid .
• Peter (1/5): Never again!!! - The room was clean Common bathroom off the hall so no en suite, bath out of order, shower worked only with cold water, no breakfast provided, no staff except the owner who wasn't around much, room not done up during the day, still as i left it, no TV in the house except the owners in his private accommodation, room, no public area to relax, a dog that barked at night, an alarm that went off during the night, no notice at the front that it was a form of accommodation, the Eircode brought you to the next door house so difficult to find, comes up under Hotels - far from a hotel

• Lyanne (10/5): Relaxing, easy going and comfortable. - This was the perfect relaxed setting I needed just before my exam in Clonshire Equestrian Centre which was only 10mins away so great location for me. Lovely spacious, comfortable and clean room. Beautiful house. Aidan was very helpful and contactable for any questions. Highly recommend.
