Guest Reviews
- Daniel (10/5): -
- rrrose (9/5): Great flat with all the facilities included - Like the views and location Not very soundproof
- Mark (7/5): - The shower was very poor.
- Kathy (8/5): Lovely and relaxing. - Even though we were not aware it was on a site, it was lovely and quiet. Used the table and chairs in the garden area. Very clean accommodation, which had all we needed for our stay.
We had to email about a couple of small problems, which were sorted very quickly. We couldn't find a light switch (it was behind a chair) and the towel rail, didn't work, but an airer was then provided to dry the towels.
Bus to Charmouth and Lyme Regis stops at the bottom of the driveway. We were not aware it was on a " site", and the only map we could find to try to get to the accommodation, did not have the number on it, so it took us a little while to realise where it was.
No welcome pack.
Be aware it is an uphill treck from the entrance to the site, to the accomodation.
- Justin (8/5): -
- Pauline (9/5): Great place to stay - Location, facilities, instructions for everything and hospitality
- Stephanie (7/5): - Good parking, the property was clean The shower was extremely low pressure and just dribbled down the water pipe - we even tried removing the shower head to increase the pressure!
- Mary (5/5): - The bungalow was lovely The bungalow is looking very grubby could do with updating and the furniture especially needs cleaning . In the kitchen was a scour pad and cloth that obviously needed to go in the bin 😬. No spare toilet rolls no kitchen roll just basics were missing.
- Bailey (8/5): Perfect for fossils - Great little place 5 min drive to coast Water pressure in shower is none existent
- Lu (9/5): - 当地住宿价格不便宜,对于单独出行无车的人不友好。
住宿附近的那个最近的餐馆吃饭要提前一天预约,开饭时间固定不灵活。
- Harry (10/5): -
- Daniela (8/5): - Ruhige Lage. Gemütliche saubere Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht.
- Jennifer (9/5): - Lovely and clean. Peaceful location. The neighbour on the Right if you stand facing the front door, keeps the TV on the whole night at a loud volume.
- Elaine (9/5): The accommodation was well equipped and location very a peaceful. l -
- Damien (7/5): - Lovely and quiet location.
Mostly clean.
Lovely and welcoming neighbour. Very bad smell in the bedroom when we arrived. At first, the owner tried to convince us there was no smell. Even when they came round later, they still argued there was no smell but finally.agreed the bed cover was very smelly and agreed to change all the bedding. Shame we wasted time dealing with that.
Shower not working.
Limited equipment in the kitchen.
Fridge not working at first but managed to sort it out.
Small double bed with thin mattress.
- Josef (8/5): Very good -
- S (9/5): Superb - The location
Quiet and relaxing sanctuary close to sea and towns
- Paul (8/5): Very good - No welcome pack as per all the pics but I had an enjoyable stay. The property is comfortable, clean, well equipped and perfectly located for visits to Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The neighbour had their television on at loud volume at all times during the day and through the night.
- Arabella (6/5): Good location - Good for the value Poor shower
- Craig (9/5): Would stay again , 100% - Very clean , homely warm and comfortable N/a
- Mark (8/5): Very good - exellent location, cosy and comfortable. Good WiFi signal. Well equipped holiday home. Shower was poor but I guess that's down to the water pressure.
- Jan (7/5): Good -
- Mark (7/5): A fine place to crash for a fossil hunting holiday - Great location with both Charmouth and Lyme Regis only very short drives away - great for fossil hunting which is what we were there for. Good kitchen facilities and peaceful surroundings. Shower wasn't powerful enough - very weak flow. Parking was a bit tight at times.
- Paul (8/5): Ideal for a good value short break - Cosy little apartment. Perfect for a short break. Good location for access to Lyme Regis and Charmouth Mid-terrace with limited views. Parking can be tricky when busy.
- Teresa (7/5): Lovely relaxing few days - Quiet location, clean Towels and shower
- Julian (10/5): Perfect - Clean ,perfect area, quite
Lots of room and utensils Shower head needs attention
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy facilities good Could do with a few more kitchen /cooking utensils
Ie strainer,larger pan ect
- Bahadir (9/5): Superb -
- Mahendra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Magdalena (9/5): Superb -
- Rosey (6/5): Great location, not so great interior. - Great location for Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis. Decent size living space and kitchen appliances were good. Heaters worked very well. Good parking available. Over all cleanliness felt as though it had been left empty and cold for some time, mould on books, bed sheets smelt damp. The sofa bed (whilst folded into sofa position) had many suspicious looking stains. The noise from next door was very loud their TV sounded as if it was in the same room up until the early hours of the morning. The bathroom is in need of modernization, the shower is an extension of a mixer tap with very low pressure.
- Matt (8/5): Cozy with great access to all areas - The location was great, it was clean and had everything I needed for a long weekend Unfortunately, the neighbours decided to have their TV stupidity loud and on until around 4 am
- Jj (10/5): Warm cozy perfect location for fossil hunting - Really good location for a fossil trip to Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Seatown. Very warm and cozy stay, and enjoyable goodies and board games from host. Will visit again. Highly recommend! NA
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - Well equipped, warm and comfortable in a great.location. The owner might want to look at the shower which didn't seem to work. Also despite instructions the oven did not heat up enough to cook anything.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - It was warm and cosy, very clean and tiny, lovely quiet location Not really much of a view
- Paul (7/5): Good for a short break on the Jurassic coast. - Good location for the 2 beaches at Charmouth and Lyme Regis. All the items of use are quite old. The sofa bed, although easy to pull out etc has a sprung mattress which is old / used and you can now feel every spring. The TV while it does have a basic Sky box for all the freeview channels works ok but is old and the volume buttons on the remote don’t work. As a young family we struggled to find places to eat out on an evening in Charmouth itself. The 1 takeaway is good but always busy so need to order well in advance.
- Ben (8/5): Nice comfortable location - Self contained and had everything we needed. Good location. Cleanliness. Maybe my standards are high but the place was quite dusty inc bed, skirtings, bathroom, cobwebs by side of sofa. Probably just a spring clean.
- Irish (9/5): Superb - Great little welcome pack...lovely little home from home
- Louise (8/5): Good - Very clean and they left kind extras like milk etc I think its probably time for a new Bed and bedding.
- Claire (9/5): nice little treasure situated in woodland just up the road from the Jurassic coastline. - welcoming, quiet and comfortable. nothing to not like.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (8/5): Lovely mini-break and we've ticked off the next leg of the coastal path! - Very quiet & secluded location
For us, a perfect location as mid point on our walk. Great access to the south west coastal path and also a bus stop on the main road.
- Alison (10/5): Perfect getaway. - Beautiful little retreat, clean and cosy. Absolutely every possible thing has been thought of to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. It's very quiet and peaceful and just what we were looking for in a mini break away. Have nothing negative to remark upon, we loved everything about Fern Hill Heights.
- Anusha (10/5): Comfortable stay in a very picturesque location. - The place was very clean and well equipped. The host even kept milk in the fridge which was very handy.
The extra bedding was kept ready and instructions regarding heating etc were very clear. The pressure in the shower was low but I guess this depends on water pressure.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Everything there was nothing not to like
