• Cara (10/5): Fabulous - It was a gorgeous home with loads of garden space, a good size kitchen and many bedrooms all with comfortable beds my friends and I slept great. It felt more like a home than a B&B. It was stocked with coffee, tea, even milk and orange juice upon our arrival. Nothing. I loved the entire property and the experience

We stayed here with two small children and they had ample space to play, both inside and out. Lovely location on the outskirts of Oughterard, which is in itself, a lovely village. Highly recommend.
• Chantel (10/5): - This property felt like a home away from home. It was clean, cosy, warm and in a great location. It is a huge space, we loved the lounge area with the warm combustion heater. It’s a short 3 min drive to town with everything you could need. We were welcomed with a beautifully set dining table with a fresh loaf and some local honey. The additional touches were such a pleasant surprise. Billy was quick to answer any questions we had and helped plan our visit. We would absolutely stay again. 😊

Bij aankomst voelden we ons er direct thuis. Gastheer Billy had ons verrast met een uitgebreid welkomstpakket inclusief gedekte tafel. Wij komen hier graag een keer terug en vinden dit zeker een aanrader. Niets
• Young Rob (9/5): Magnificent Madeline's Place - A great location. Really appreciated the central heating, laundry facilities, and the beautifully laid out breakfast table and welcome food. Homely, lots space, in and out. Well equipped. Quiet, no street noise. Great friendly communication with the host. Great parking area. The floors were very creaky, six of us at night going to bathrooms not the best. However a minor matter for light sleepers.
• Linda (10/5): - Huset var stort og rent.Det var godt utstyr, med alt man trenger. Koselig interiør og i ett rolig område uten støy . Eierne svarer raskt og er veldig hjelpsomme. Det var ingenting negativt .
• Luka (9/5): - Madeleines place besticht vor allem durch viel Platz. Aber das Tollste war der Empfang: der Tisch war schön gedeckt, es gab frisches Brot, Butter, Marmelade und Cheddarkäse. Man hat sich direkt zuhause gefühlt, weil es einfach gemütlich war und man das Gefühl hatte, herzlich erwarteter Gast zu sein. Auch zu betonen ist die Sauberkeit im ganzen Haus bei unserer Ankunft. Die Lage ist ruhig.

• Jean (10/5): Super séjour, nous avons adoré ! - Maison individuelle avec un jardin qui est éloigné de la route principale du coup très calme. Nous entrons dans un cottage cosy et très propre. Tout est pensé pour qu’on s’y sente bien. Billy, notre hôte, est disponible et sympathique. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Madeleine’s place et reviendrons avec plaisir.
• Paolo (9/5): - Tutto molto bene. Check in, check out, contatto con l'host. Tavola imbandita per la colazione, torta di mele, fragole, essenziali in cucina e in bagno. Una simpatica cavalla in giardino a tenerci conpagnia.
• Gillian (10/5): Fabulous scenery, lovely people, great food everywhere and loads to see and do - The house is much larger than pictures show, 3 spacious double rooms, one is en-suite. The area is so quiet we had to set our alarm to wake in the mornings, it’s so close to the village you could easily walk down for drinks in the lovely pubs, hardly ever traffic on the road house is on, very safe. The property is extremely well located for seeing a-lot of Galway which is stunning.
• Martin (9/5): - A lovely house - felt very much at home during our few days here. Quiet location with plenty of space around the outside of the house. House was great size and plenty of room for the five of us. Good communication from host prior to arrival and shortly after arrival to see if settled in OK. Food left in house for arrival was a very nice touch. Extra pillows in cupboard if required was also very nice. A very enjoyable stay.

• Sarh1206 (10/5): Loved it! - Easy check in and I loved the homey feel of the place. The highlight of this place was that there was no rule book - just like staying at a hotel! As a customer you want everything to be easy and without being bound by rules. This aspect was awesome! Would reccomend for kids and family stays!
• Giulia (9/5): Great stay in huge and clean house! - The house was great with three big bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big living room. It was clean and they were even able to provide a cot for me. It was nearby the town centre so easy to access pubs, cafe' and shops. Communication with host was great before and after! The only fault that I would mention is that I would add some extra kitchen utensils to make it comfortable to cook for 6 people.

• Caitriona (10/5): weekend getaway for the sisters - Madelines place was simply lovely. Billy and Pat were very good hosts. They had left us with some basic supplies like milk tea butter bread which was much appreciated. In addition to this were some not so basic supplies...apple tart and wine, which was also appreciated. The evening we arrived was very cold, and they had the fire on and the heat was set to come on regularly. The place was spotless with very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend and hope to come back again in the future.
• Christy (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house that we felt at home in straight away. The house has everything you need for a short or long stay. Oughterard is a really nice village with great places to eat and drink. The location is also great for trips into Galway or other places of interest.

• Snehal (10/5): Excellent, Comfortable and Homely stay. - Madeleines place is an amazing BnB in Galway. The house is antique, huge and extremely comfortable. We felt right at home. Billy and Pat were lovely hosts and even left us wine and baquettes to indulge after a tiring day of journey. The location is 25-30 mins from Galway city center but within 3 mins of drive from the property you will find cute little bakeries, cafes and also Tesco express. The house is very well equipped, has a beautiful front and backyard and has all the amenities to even cook. The check in and Check out process was seamless. We will definitely visit again. 100% recommended BnB. I cannot praise it enough. There is nothing to not like about this property. Go for it if you want to make your Galway trip memorable.

• Mark (10/5): Fabulous stay at wonderful house - Fantastic 5 night stay in Madeline's place. Hosts were excellent, went above and beyond for us and the kids. Made us feel at home on our trip to Galway. House is immaculate. We are delighted to have been the first guests at this fantastic house. Just around the corner from the fantastic village of Oughterard, lively pubs playing Irish music, Keogh's tourist show packed full with fantastic irish gifts. Highly recommend a stay and drive around the scenic routes just outside the village, lakes, mountains and just a short drive from the wild Atlantic way
