• Joëlle (4/5): Risque de chute sur les lits du haut en dortoir - Le petit déjeuner Les lits du haut en dortoir sont dangereux avec un risque potentiel de chute en raison du trou entre le lit et le mur. Il y a également des poutres au plafond se trouvant juste au-dessus de l' échelle donc un risque de se cogner la tête. La salle de bain nécessiterait plus de nettoyage.

• Arq. Seijas B. (8/5): Excelente hostel para excursionistas - Excelente ambiente y muy buen servicio. El personal fue muy amable y atento!. Llegue tarde en la noche y me enviaron todas las indicaciones de acceso para que pueda hacer el ingreso sin problema. Fui sola por un par de noches y la verdad que supero mis expectativas. Las habitaciones son amplias y las camas super cómodas. Tiene un lugar en común en cada piso y el internet funciona muy bien. Hay un horario de "no molestar" a partir de las 22/23hs (no recuerdo exactamente) donde se apagan las luces. Entiendo que hay muchos visitantes que van a hacer excursiones muy temprano pero quizás se podría mantener la actividad, las luces y la permanencia en el área común de la planta baja.

Banheiro e cozinha sempre limpo! As manhãs são de contemplação de frente para as montanhas geladas, incrível demais! 👏🏆 Tudo atendeu a expectativa, recomendo e voltarei mais vezes.

• Esau (10/5): Perfecta - Quiero agradecer de corazón al increíble personal del hostal por recibirme con tanta calidez en el Fin del Mundo. Su amabilidad, dedicación y buena disposición hicieron que mi llegada se sintiera como llegar a casa, incluso estando a miles de kilómetros. Gracias por hacer de esta experiencia algo verdaderamente inolvidable.
• Laura (3/5): No lo recomiendo / I don’t recommend this place - El piso donde me quedé olía mal Todos los baños olían horrible Algunas literas/camarote como el que me tocó, están tan pegados al techo que no puedes ni sentarte. No tienen guarda equipaje o guarda mochila, si necesitas dejarla después de check out, debes dejarla en el área entre la entrada y la recepción. Ushuaia es una ciudad para hacer trekking, y no tienen servicio de lavaropas ni donde quitarle el barro a las botas.

There was also people coming in from upstairs, maybe they didnt have toilets either. There is not enough kitchen utilities for everyone.

• ElRadu22 (9/5): Uno de los mejores hostel hasta el momento - Tuve una excelente experiencia con Portal Antártico. Destaco especialmente el precio, que es muy accesible, y la atención del personal, siempre predispuesto y amable. En particular, Juli hizo la estadía aún más agradable con su buena onda y calidez. El ambiente en general es muy positivo, se nota que el equipo trabaja con ganas y eso se transmite. Como sugerencia de mejora, las cocinas podrían ser a gas en lugar de eléctricas, lo que resultaría más práctico. Sin dudas lo recomiendo y volvería a elegirlo.

• Daniele07528 (8/5): - It's a cool place to stay a few nights, the hosts are very helpful and can organise trips, treks and transfer. Everything is sparkling clean. Beds are comfy and rooms well designed. I liked the simple but sweet breakfast (you can always cook or buy your own stuff and bring it to the breakfast room). Kitchens have only few things to use for cooking, bathrooms are not enough (the one downstairs should be common as well) and having something in the room to hang your clothes and towel would help a lot (there is a closet in the process of building the shelves but no one is fixing it). Also a couch would be nice in the room downstairs (the common room upstairs gets quite cold in the evenings..)

• Dagmar (7/5): Good price, nice breakfast - Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Hostel personal was nice and seemed to enjoy working there. Place is not centric, but you can reach the center on foot in about 10 minutes. Beds have no curtains. There are just three bathrooms (including only two functional showers) to be shared by a lot of people, including personal. This resulted in quite a lot of waiting and in them sometimes being quite dirty. I was given a bed close to the door that led to one of the kitchens, where people were talking very loudly till late at night.

Hay música permanentemente, un día había cumbia a las 7 am…

Esta un poco alejado del centro pero solo 20 o 30 minutos, para mi no es problema. Lo peor si como a mi te toca litera de arriba te clavas los peldaños en los pies al subir y luego tiene una viga en el techo que fácilmente te golpeas cada vez que subes. La cocina y sala de estar está separada de las habitaciones por puerta corredera que no aísla por lo que en las habitaciones se oye todo lo que ocurre en esa sala. Alguna noche mucho ruido hasta tarde.

Noisy and thin walls. Clearly hear traffic. Glas wall between rooms, light and noise coming through. Shelf on bed pathetic good for nothing. Tiny, slippery, and not secured. Light switch outside of the room and no signage to let you know.

• NAIARA (8/5): Simples para dormir - Staff extremamente simpatico e disponivel para ajudar. Fica na parte alta então boa caminhada com morro ou escadaria ate a rua principal, mas em Ushuaia tudo é meio perto. Como o hostel tem 3 andares quem fica no primero tem barulho do andar debaixo e de cima. Cozinha compartilhada prox dos quartos dependendo do grupo q vc pega sofre com barulho mas ai sao os hospedes que nao respeitam o hostel pede silencio apos as 22h.

Huevos y otras frutas más que manzana verde .Solo hay facturas y pan lactal blanco. Ubicación de 10 . Cerca de pleno centro Que solo haya un baño por piso para todos los huéspedes de las habitaciones. Hay como 3 habitaciones por piso. Tenés que bajar o subir a los otros baños u a veces están también ocupados
