- Ekaterina2703 (10/5): Great homestay in the middle of Sri-lanka - The most hospitable homestay we've ever stayed with. We were in touch via WhatsApp even before arrival. We easily found the right address. The landlord has a spare parking space. We had the entire second floor of the house to ourselves. The bedroom had large windows and a balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed – a gas stove, kettle, and refrigerator. Monkeys came to the house in the mornings, and birds sang early in the morning. From Kandy, it's much easier to get to the sights of the island's interior than from the coast. The evenings are not as hot as the day. There's a beautiful Botanical Garden nearby; I highly recommend visiting it. Before leaving, we received small gifts from the landlord. A wonderful, friendly family. We wish you love and prosperity. Sometimes smell in the bathroom
