- Bonnie (4/5): Dive hotel in bad neighborhood. - Unfortunately I had a misunderstanding right from the first moment with the person who said they were the owner and that colored my experience, as I found out I could not use a card to pay, even by paying an extra 5% which is the case in 100% of the other places I stayed in all over Colombia. That may not happen to you, of course, and just know you CANNOT pay with a card, you must pay in cash. This is a dive hotel in a very iffy neighborhood, I was told it was actually on the edge of a really bad area so you should make sure you go in the right direction when you leave. I arrived at 6 pm so it was just getting dark so I just stayed the night and found a much better place in a much better area the next morning, for less money.
