The Killarney Avenue Hotel does have an onsite, underground parking lot. Please note that parking is on a first come, first served basis due to it's limited availability. If the car park is full when you arrive, there are many public parking lots within walking distance of the property. Public car parks are generally free between the hours of 18:00 – 08:00 Monday through Saturday, and free on Sundays and bank holidays." Payment Notice: Unless prior arrangements are in place, we will process payment for your stay on arrival to the hotel. The hotel requires a valid credit card to be presented upon check-in for the registering guest. The card should match the name of the reservation as made and must be presented for Chip & Pin verification. It is not possible to pre-pay for a third party guest due to GDPR and privacy restrictions. We reserve the right to receive payment or request pre-authorization of the full amount for the stay period based on the credit card details provided upon check-in. We do not accept cash payment for room reservations. We do not accept debit cards to secure rooms or for pre-authorization on check-in due to ongoing issues with releasing same. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause guests. Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the booker’s credit card up to 4 days prior to arrival. This places the pre-authorized amount in a holding state which also temporarily reduces one’s credit limit. The pre-authorization is not a charge and no funds will be debited from the account at this point, this will also not be reflected in the credit card statement since no charge has been made. The credit limit will be released back to the cardholder within one week depending on the issuing bank.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. kathleen (9/5): Prime location for the town! Friendly helpful staff - Prime location for the town. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and quick to serve in the bar. We had the room with a view of the town. Very comfortable. Asked for smoked salmon at breakfast time and they brought down a huge plate of it! Didn't have a wide choice of breakfast option for vegetarians. When we asked if they did veggie sausages the staff member said no.
Gita (9/5): Lovely old style elegant hotel. Very comfortable. - This is an elegant, comfortable hotel, with a real old style ambiance. It is centrally located, so easy to walk around Killarney. We enjoyed our stay a great deal, loved the bathtub! The breakfast was a good value, too. We were fortunate to get a space in the garage, which made things super easy. Honestly, we had no complaints.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and warm and comfortable. More parking is a must. We spent nearly 1 hour driving around killarney before we eventually got one. More channels on the tv would be nice.

The only things I don’t like are the parking if you have a car and the toilet paper in the rooms! They need to get nicer toilet paper.

Very frustrating experience and leads to chaos as more customers arrive. Was not as clean as expected. Noise from the town square is very loud. Facilities like gym and pool being in another hotel a few 100 metres away is not ideal (and not obvious when booking).

fiona (10/5): This is a beautiful hotel serving fabulous food withing walking distance of the town and the INEC . - The room was very comfortable and clean, an ideal place to relax and unwind . The bathroom had fabulous body soap and creams and an inbuilt jacuzzi in the bath , with comfortable slippers , ideal for a pamper session.
