- IAN (9/5): This hotel is close to the Thai Consulate and the main part of town. - The staff were great, very helpful and friendly.

- berthold (7/5): - Alles gut Nicht auszusetzen
- Burdoy (10/5): A very nice hotel - The staff always changes the towel and cleans the room everyday. Nothing. It's all good 😊
- Angeli (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (6/5): Could do with a bit of love/life putting back into it. - The room was clean & comfortable as was the bed. The lady on reception allowed me to check in a little earlier than the 2pm time slot as I'd arrived from Bangkok at 7.30am. The room was right next to the elevator shaft so it was quite noisy. I had the view of a brick wall outside of my room, from the large balcony & the staff (apart from the lady), weren't helpful at all. There was a small airer to hang my clothes on but the room was definitely big enough for a wardrobe. Also, I went to use the pool at Avalon 2 & it wasn't particularly clean with no sun loungers to lie on.
- Jaro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bert (5/5): was ok - Cleaning lady was friendly and did a great job Staff cant speak English
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Reymen (8/5): Very good -

- Ingrid (6/5): An acceptable place to stay but with no outstanding features and weak service - A good location for us as we were travelling from the bus station. Simple and pleasant enough. Staff indifferent or absent
- Yin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Elena (9/5): Superb - Conveniently located. Very helpful staff Ants in the room
- Sahada (9/5): thank you so much to makes our stay in your hotel comfortable. - What I do like the most is all the staff is easy to approach, they will help you if it's needed, they will guide you if it's needed. the location is accessible it's easy to book uber/taxi and surrounded by a restaurant too. somehow, we encountered slow connection. however, we completely understand maybe because of the climate because during our trip in Laos its winter so expectedly always has a rain but its ok there is a coffee shop that we could stay nearest in Avalon Residence.
- Duc (8/5): Very good -
- Bert (6/5): I stay there because it is close to the Thai consulate and the rates are pretty good - The cleaner was excellent Tell the hotel to give her a pay rise The front staff none could speak English Most were so very young So help was none nonexistent I guess if you enjoyed your time on a mobile phone then you would have fitted in well with them because that is all they did
- Malachi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mway (7/5): Good -
- Yoon (5/5): Passable -
- Vilon (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast is not recommended! it does not a proper breakfast, the lobbery area is a bit low quality. no air flow or air conditioning. It seems staff is not enough to run the business I stayed in a room next to a lift. It was quite noisy from the machine.
- Pizza (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anthony (9/5): Very nice hotel close to the bus terminal. - The coffee was good but we didn't have time for the breakfast.
- David (7/5): 4 nights in Avalon. - Good location, very clean and quiet Staff not very helpful. The TV in our room (Egg Fruit) did not work. We informed the front desk girl Nothing happened. The 2nd day we followed up again about the TV. The front desk girl then appeared to call someone, and she said the technician would come that day at 6 pm.
Nothing happened. By now it is the 3rd day of our 4 night stay in thus Hotel, so we gave up about the TV being fixed.
- Detlef (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ruedee (8/5): Very good - Room is clean and quite spacious. They provide breakfast which you can choose one dish from their menu. It's a little bit far from old town buildings.
- Lizza (9/5): Superb - Near bus station.
- Jigme (10/5): Exceptional - Good
- Nevyn (5/5): Passable -
- Tatiane (7/5): Good -
- Wanitcha (9/5): Superb -
- Nigel (6/5): fungtional friendly, no frills, better than average, linked restaurant has good food. - We were late for breakfast by abour 15 minutes, the lovely people were unfased and still made our brkfast. Thanks for that. wifi worked fine could have done with more comfy chairs and the bed was missing a headboard. air con was a little noisy.
- William (8/5): Very good - The room was very clean and the breakfast was just what I wanted.
- Peter (8/5): Everything was ok accept the Wi-Fi was rubbish - Breakfast was good Wi-Fi was rubbish
- Amba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and well appointed. The wifi was a little problematic, but then I was in Laos and that is probably more of a reason than the hotel being at fault. There was not much to dislike, other than the wifi but that is more of a country issue than the fault of the hotel. The breakfast was nice, if a little basic.
- Desert_andy (8/5): Very good - The ambience was relaxed. The room was airy. The price was very low. The location was good for the business I was conducting. The breakfast was sub-par. The two branches of the hotel were confusingly named and numbered.
- Ajeith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frederick (9/5): Superb -
- Souknilan (6/5): Good price - It was okay Location
- Deirdre (7/5): Good -
- Souknilan (6/5): Decent - Breakfast was good. Hotel price was good. Entry area didn’t have AC. Two properties with same name and we went to the other location which is very confusing. Room must have a key to keep AC turned on.
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Ruoxu (7/5): Good -
- David (7/5): Good - It strives mightily for adequacy and achieves it! Neighbors smoking cigarettes.......
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (5/5): Passable -
- Huw (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phyu (7/5): Good - Big room and very comfortable to stay. Room & food
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (7/5): It was good for a place to stay with the kids while we transitioned. - It was comfortable, and the room was spacious. It was probably very nice when it was built. The pool was small, and required a short walk, but was nice. It's also within walking distance of Thai immigration. The sink tap ran constantly, and the drain seemed to be partially blocked. Also, the staff downstairs, while friendly, seemed disinterested. Also, both nights, there was very loud music played from across the street for a couple of hours.
- Steve (7/5): Two nights stay without any issues. - Fast check in and cash counter payment. Breakfast vouchers prepared in advance. Free breakfast choices were good and the food was served quickly. Only 15 minutes walk from either the Consulate or the river bank for other dining options. Convenience store about 5 minutes walk away. The sliding door to the balcony hadn't been closed properly so the room was very warm and took a long time to cool down after check in. Also there was no channels on the TV. Lack of a room safe may concern some.
- Vladimir (9/5): Good for value, but staff can be a bit quicker to make check-in - Very close to Thai Embassy. Also in the evening have 3 restaurants nearby. I feel like the staff was a bit slowly. The guest before us make check-in not less than 15 min. We are slowly too.
- Antonio (7/5): you’re paying for location. - very clean, spacious, and close to Thai consulate. nice open Veranda with a view of the mountains. buffet was across the street. the AC is basically a very warm fan. Basically, there is no AC. my room stayed burning up. staff was polite but didn’t speak any English. not many eating options either but that’s expected a bit.
- Bong (3/5): I will not stay at Avalon Hotel again. - It was ordinary. The guy at the front desk does not understand English.
- Jonathan (5/5): Passable - The day reception were helpful and printed a flight ticket which was kind. Street dogs attack you outside the hotel, They were barking most of the night. The receptionist told me he didn't speak English when I asked about food.
The breakfast wasn't very good to be honest half the food on the menu were unavailable.
- Kristina (9/5): Superb -
- Kristina (7/5): Good - Good location, not far from the Thai Consulate. Big spacy room. Not noisy at night. Dining area and a balcony. Sleeping is quite ok there. No deposit for a room. Someone's lipstick on a glass in the room.. Breakfast had almost no options for a vegan, except for the fruit salad. Dirt under the bed, if you decide to move it a little bit.
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Yigal (3/5): Poor -
- Adriano (7/5): Good - Location Yes OK but the bed wasn't very confort, yes nearby market and blablabla, but wasn't confort to sleep!?
- Paula (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mahmud (8/5): Very good -
- Albert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mika (6/5): Pleasant - Functional. Good value. Room next to elevator engine trust makes some serious sound.
- Graham (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hyacinth (9/5): Amazing - Their restaurant serves excellent food! The place was great, good value for money the wifi in our room was not that fast
- Visoulinthone (10/5): Exceptional - parking is big and safe
- Morgan (3/5): Poor - the toilet in the lobby was clean. good wifi The bed was uncomfortable. Noisy air conditioning. The motor for the lift was next to my room and very noisy.
- Anan (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast is very good and reasonable price for lunch and dinner at avalon coffee .
Nice staff and helpful.
The room is large and clean. none
- Visoulinthone (10/5): Exceptional - good
- Jack (6/5): Fine for a one night stop over - Great location close to the bus station for a one night stay. Confusion at beginning with which hotel they had us staying in.
- Filipa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Benjamin (9/5): Acceptable place to stay for a Thai visa run - The room was clean, and very large. The air conditioner was cool, and I didn't have any problems with the hot water heater. It's also walking distance to the bus station, and the Thai Consulate. There's also an on-site cafe that has wonderful coffee. There are a couple of problems that I didn't like with this hotel:
1. The bathroom was small and tiny, with a sink, toilet, and shower head in a small closet-like room.
2. I noticed they changed the chef at the on-site cafe the last time I stayed there. They are selling Thai/Laotian food now, and not western style sandwiches.
3. There's no balcony or kettle in the room
