Bruffee (7/5): - Here’s your updated review with that included naturally: --- We recently stayed in one of the cabins and overall had a lovely experience, with a few areas that could be improved. We stayed in *The Hideaway*, and it truly lived up to its name—peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cabin itself is quite spacious, with a comfortable double bedroom and an additional bedroom with two single beds, which would be great for families. The bathroom was a good size and well laid out, although the shower pressure was quite weak. The kitchen/dining area was quiet and pleasant, with a nice table to sit and enjoy meals. The views are absolutely stunning, and the outdoor space is a real highlight. The seating area and hot tub were fantastic, making it easy to relax and take in the surroundings. We also had no issues with the WiFi, despite seeing some previous reviews mention problems. Having our own parking space was very convenient, and the TV worked perfectly. The sheets and towels were spotless, which we really appreciated. However, there were a few downsides. The road leading to the grange is very narrow with very few passing points, which made driving in and out quite stressful at times. Once we settled in, we noticed a few cleanliness and attention-to-detail issues. While not major, they did feel disappointing given the price (just under £800 for three nights). There was only one toilet roll provided, no welcome pack, and no basic kitchen essentials like oil or condiments, which felt a bit unwelcoming. Some areas of the cabin—such as the kitchen cupboard doors, windows, interior doors, rug, and cream leather sofa—were noticeably dirty. It gave the impression that only a basic turnaround had been done between guests rather than a thorough clean. The on-site golf was also a bit underwhelming. That said, the grounds themselves are exceptional and clearly very well maintained, which adds a lot to the overall experience.

There was a problem with the shower which intermittently ran scalding hot or freezing cold There was no electricity to the lodge on our leaving day & reception was closed so couldn’t get it rectified.

Would be nice if the farms next door sold eggs/milk to start your break off with a nice breakfast or have a little shop on site. Access road to the site are to be desired but price you have to pay to get to an idealistic location. We had a lovely 20th Anniversary there. The shower was alittle on the poor side, could of done with it being abit more powerful.

Close enough to village for amenities but rural enough for the beautiful view of the hills and quiet. The lodge had everything you need for a short break. The trees and bushes could be cut back slightly to give more of a view of the hills whilst in the hot tub in our particular lodge.

Only problem we had was while the lodge was clean, the bins hadn't been emptied from the previous guests but staff were apologetic and resolved this for us quickly. Hot tubs are not really in a prime position for catching the sun but we're still enjoyable and relaxing

Carl (10/5): Couldn't recommend it enough - Absolutely exceptional place to stay. The lodge is beautiful, the staff were very welcoming and the views are truly stunning. It reminds you of exactly how beautiful this country actually is. Only nit picks are that we were given just 1 toilet roll to last the two of us two days which wasn't enough. One of the pillows was completely flat and ready for the bin but there was extra pillows provided so it wasn't really anything to complain about. It states on booking.com that the tv had streaming services which it does but it is slightly misleading as we thought they would have provided accounts ready to use, but we had to use our own personal accounts. Faweather grange is an amazing place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody that wants a relaxing few days away. We will definitely be back at some point in the future

On arrival, the welcome video playing gentle music and the roaring fire created a beautiful ambience. The staff helped us with our luggage and they were very friendly. The lodge had all the kitchen utensils you needed. Washing up liquid,hand wash, tea towels, and toiletries. The hot tub was checked daily. There are plenty of places to visit and some good local walks. Great pubs for food. We had a good meal at the Hermit Inn. Overall, we had a fabulous stay at faweather grange. Patel (9/5): Excellent, best breakout time. - The silent Atmosphere and the hospitality, Debbie her staff (family) are real gem to be around with, helped us with short sight seeing walking route which was not on the map, really found a hidden gem, we'll go their again whenever we get the chance to sneak out and Rob, he is really helpful and very enthusiast to help us. Check out time felt quite early, if it would be 12pm instead of 10am, I would have enjoyed my 2nd morning as well, knowing the checked-in time was after 3pm it felt like a shorter holiday than expected :)
Rebecca (7/5): Risky drive, beautiful location - Lovely location, nice little lodge although quite outdated, sauna was a nice touch The road to Faweather Grange is really dangerous, the dirt road has chipped all the bottom of my car, and the other road is a one way with minimal pull in areas so when another car comes towards you it’s quite dangerous. The lodge had a really strange smell to it, especially in the cupboards. It was quite dusty and the hot tub in Serenity was completely exposed not private at all.

Marcela (10/5): Absolutely fab - Everything here at Faweather Grange was just perfect , we came here for my fiancés birthday, the staff was incredibly helpful on what I asked for , very nice and receptive for everything. Peace and quiet all around , I couldn’t choose anything better than that , just to get away from everything and have beautiful quiet moments in 2 and really enjoy. Absolutely everything was just beyond what I expected .
Paul (9/5): Super relaxing staycation - Excellent facilities, clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and offer lots of information about the local area - places to visit, walks etc. No complaints at all

Liam (10/5): The cosy night away we needed & we plan to come back! - We stayed in ‘The Nest’ recently which was absolutely beautiful with stunning views! Nice quiet site with polite staff that welcome you. The hot tub and sauna were amazing, everywhere was clean and fresh. Definitely the cosy night away we needed & we plan to come back! It did not disappoint. Only negative is the jet bath didn’t work.

Ryan (10/5): Beautiful, homely and wholesome experience for both couples and other parties. - Private and secluded, the cabin was homely and a beautiful experience for a couple. (we stayed in the den) There was truly nothing to dislike about the property. Maybe some newer dvd’s or board games could be an excellent addition :)

Pam (10/5): Our honeymoon - There is a lot to like. The lodge was clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The views are amazing. The hot tub and sauna were both great. A very relaxing stay. Future visitors be careful where a sat nav sends you as one way in is along an untreated bridle path. The best way in is along Sconce Lane.

Shivani (10/5): Excellent and most beautiful location near from our place. - The surrounding environment is very good and pleasant. Also you can see the nature experience over there like birds chirping, very calm and quiet with full privacy, we enjoyed a lot during our stay and definitely will come back! Also the staff were excellent they provided us seat in reception whilst we were waiting for taxi, very kind! Well it will be good if you can provide extra towels and room freshener. Overall it was really good service.
