- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful and private cottage up in the hills. Very tastefully decorated. I wanted to stay a few more days. Easy to access off Remutaka trail with clear directions from host Just so you are aware it is at the top of a steep drive, if arriving by bike

Maybe when its really hot theres no aircondition

- Simon (9/5): Superb - A cute, cosy and nicely finished little cottage in beautiful bush setting. It was lovely sitting outside listening to the birds in the evening. And there are some great walks in the area. This is an excellent option if you want to relax in the peace and quiet of some NZ bush but still be close enough to everything you need.

- Limited (9/5): It is a very beautiful, peaceful place. Owner's efforts appreciated. - The place is very neat. The view from the balcony is exceptional and so peaceful. The building quality is of a high standard. Loved the footpath to the bungalow. I will keep it in mind for future visits to the area. As a BnB, I expected breakfast but none was provided. The heater was not quite strong enough to cope with the very cold nights when I was there. The deck was VERY slippery when covered with frost, owner should consider doing something about it to avoid future possible accidents and legal liabilities.

- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the hidden retreat tucked away in Mother nature. Has everything you need to kick back and relax in the beautiful nature. Not far from upperhutt, but yet it feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere. Would differently come back again. Very close to wildfinder, which is why we were down in the first place to take in the nature and enjoy our time away.
