• Mª del Carmen (9/5): - El piso estaba muy bien equipado, limpio y agradable. El anfitrión había enviado todas las instrucciones previamente por correo, con indicaciones para poder aparcar y otras. Así mismo, había dejado una hoja en el piso también con recomendaciones de sitios. La habitación era muy pequeña aunque para pasar una noche está bien. En la sala de estar-cocina la luz apenas alumbraba.

• Else (8/5): - Lejligheden ligger tæt på centrum og i gåafstand til mange ting. Der er et fint udstyret køkken, fint soveværelse og en god sovesofa. Parkeringsmuligheder lige i nærheden. Pladsen er noget trang til fire personer. Lejligheden er angivet til 67 kvm men er ca. 40. Der mangler kroge til håndklæder. Overnatning i Reykjavik/på Island er dyr.

• Irina (7/5): Not suitable for 4 people - The apartment is specious, near the main street, enough space for a group The sofa, which was supposed to accommodate two people, was a total disaster. It was impossible to sleep on it because there was a sort of hole in the middle. Although the apartment was quite clean, the kitchen utensils were dirty, and the shower curtain smelled strongly of mold.

• Yelzhan (2/5): You won’t be able to fall asleep - The flat is in good conditions and location is good The walls are made of cupboard and you won’t be able to fall asleep because of the neighbour. When we tried to speak to him, he refused to turn the noise down while is was 23:50. This man said that tourism is creating inconveniences for locals like him, while it creates so much of the counties GDP. The guys flat is full of trash and Domino’s pizzas but he told me that tourists leave trash everywhere and make rents high.
• Khei (9/5): Superb - Location was near the main bus stops and main street. It's not big, but complete. Owner was kind enough to let us use everything in the unit. Laundry was a bit confusing as there are multiple laundry machines in the basement (some are owned by other units). Make sure to use the ones labelled for your unit number only to avoid disputes :)
• Olga (8/5): Very good - Location is really close to the city centre and shops. Apartment was pretty spacious, with good quality WiFi. Really comfortable bed. Windows and balcony were ridicoulously dirty. Looks like they were not cleaned for a looong time. Lack of kettle to boil water (actually, there was one, however with a strange socket) and no toilet paper - which should be a standard and is easy to arrange for a housekeeper.
• Lara (9/5): Good stay in Reykjavik - The location is excellent - walkable distance to city centre. Self check-in was very easy. There are no reserved parking spots, however it's easy to find a parking behind the building or in the surrounding streets (you have to pay for it). The apartment was clean and it was a good stay for us. Some hangers or towel racks in the bathroom would be nice, as well as some more cooking pots or pans. The couch was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

• Anitra (8/5): We had a nice time in Reykjavik. Thank you - The property was close to the main square and near attractions and shopping. The property was very clean and comfortable. Good communication and instructions. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable. A microwave would be nice. FYI: the neighbors were having loud sec for hours…couldn’t sleep. Walls too thin.
• Hasini (8/5): Pleasant stay, toasty little apartment. - The property was nice and clean and quite spacious. A bit difficult to get to with the road work. However it would be fine if the road work wasn’t going on. Would have been easier to find if we had landed during the day too, was quite dark, cold and windy so I’ll put it down to that too.
• Phillip (8/5): Clean, modern apartment in great location - Great location within walking distance of town and bus stop 13. Modern and clean. Felt secure and safe. Food hall approx 100m walk with excellent choice of food. The sofa bed didn’t have any linen on duvet or sheets, however after contacting the owner these were delivered the following day. There was a kettle and coffee machine but no tea bags or coffee pods so unable to make hot drink.

• Rita (6/5): Meh - Central location, easy check in Our main problem was the property was advertised as having a sofa bed, but no sheets or bedding was provided, and when we contacted the host he said he was not local and would try to call us back, then never did. We ended up having to use the bare mattress and some sofa cushions, which was very annoying when we booked this place because it explicitly advertised a sofa bed. Mould in bathroom, towel rail detached and sitting in the cupboard, kitchen not very well equipped- lack of many pots and pans, no small knife, no grater / colander / sieve etc, but also no microwave so if you stay here you’re pretty limited to takeout food or eating out. The road the apartment is on is currently closed due to construction work so it was a bit hard to access with luggage etc - we found there is a back way through a side street but only after we’d spent a bunch of time driving in circles in the dark - some warning and instructions for access would have been nice. Overall it was fine but not as good as the other places we stayed for similar prices, and it was frustrating because the issues could easily be solved with a trip to ikea for less than we paid for one night, and some better instructions for the tiny side street avoiding the road closure.

• John (8/5): Enjoyable experience. I would recommend staying here. - Location was great. Within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Rooms were very clean. Responded right away to my little issues. Nice size bathroom and shower. No parking at hotel. Street parking was very hard to find.
• M (4/5): Lack of household items in the kitchen and bathroom - there was a hair dryer, but I must say that many other essential elements were missing; in the bathroom there were towel racks where you could put the 4 towels, in the kitchen everything was missing, there is only 1 saucepan and 1 pot for cooking; for 4 people there is very little kitchenware to be able to make a meal; there was coffee but no coffee maker (there were 2 capsule coffee makers, but no capsules) nor 1 scouring pad for washing, nor a mop for cleaning... In short, nothing to do with the other 5 accommodations that we have enjoyed in your beautiful country. I am telling you this so that you can improve the conditions for the next guest.

• Michal (7/5): A decent place in Reykjavik, close to downtown. - A decent location in a calm area, easy check-in, comfortable beds. Tiny space, dirty oven, brown stains on one towel, lack of fry pan.
• Sacha (5/5): Excellent location and apartment had the basics but lacked in housekeeping. - Excellent location, but with all the construction it was quite hard to locate at first. Owner should definitely include more detailed instructions about how to find that particular apartment building, especially since it’s not labeled. Housekeeping was not good. Although it was generally clean (other than an old stain on the mattress, clearly visible under the thin mattress cover), no toilet paper (other than a partial role, which ran out with our family of four very quickly) was left left by housekeeping on both of the separate days we stay at either end of our trip. The first time we stayed there was no shower curtain and the bathroom shower was not draining but those issues were fixed by the next time we stayed.
• Chantal (6/5): Pleasant - Laundry room. There were no room keys in the drop box. Had to ask a stranger to help us call the host. The keys were apparently mixed up with another apartment. Advertised coffee and tea supplies not provided. No check out instructions despite emailing host. Apartment very small for families (2kids). More suited to couples.

• Jorrit (4/5): Very, very poorly equipped kitchen - Very centrally located apartment. Good size beds We expected a well equipped kitchen but we had one fork, two spoons, one large dining plate, one bowl and no pans at all. No meal was possible, not even eggs for breakfast. Cereal we had to eat one after another as we only had one bowl. Unacceptable! We sent a message to the owner and they blamed on the previous tenants (yeah right) and that the cleaning service would bring some. The cleaning service comes after the tenants leave so no solution for us and the owner gets 0 points from us
• Cameron (7/5): Good - Good location. Very clean. Lots of room for three people. Went to check in at 15:00. The key was not in the lock box. Tried to communicate with the host via Booking.com, but there was no response. We ended up going to sky lagoon then returned at 19:00. Key was still not in the box. Calling the host worked - I should’ve done this initially. There was an emergency key located in the back. Still a big inconvenience not being able to check in until after 19:00. Also, it would’ve been nice to know that there is roadwork being done closing the main road where the apartment is located. Getting there was nearly impossible without parking and walking a few blocks to figure out where it was.

• Eman (8/5): good location, but communication should be enhanced - I liked the location, very easy access to the down town. The communication is not good. we have a very late arrival from the airport and I have already informed them about arrival time. The road to the apartment was closed and we had to keep on looping to figure out how could we reach at 1:30 am. The elevator was not working, and we were not informed about it and had heavy luggage. There was a coffee machine but no coffee capsules. I have sent them a message but replied very late, saying that you can get coffee stock from the laundry room.. we searched but couldn't find any.
• Mj (5/5): This wasn't the good accommodation for us. - The location was great—close to key attractions and bus stops. It is more spacious than hotel rooms, and the beds are comfortable. The apartment was not very clean. In fact, the sofa bed was very dusty, and my son had allergic reactions. Additionally, if you need to store your luggage before check-in time and/or after check-out time (which is early), this isn't the right place. The host was not very responsive or not very accommodating.

The room layout is great for us. - Clean and comfortable room - Well-equipped kitchen, nice dining area - Big refrigerator for food storage The lift is malfunctioning, and the wifi password is incorrect. Although there is no space for luggage in the bedroom, it's fine. The equipment in the kitchen is new, it is recommended to set up the range hood.
• Lloyd (2/5): Apart from location, not recommended - I regret that I did not heed the negative reviews: they were all absolutely right. The one thing going for the property is its downtown location. The entrance stairwell was dirty and had a musty smell. The photos of the apartment, which must have been taken with a wide angle lens, suggest that it is much bigger than it is. The bedroom is small and bags have to be stored in the hallway (as one previous guest had noted). There were no towels when we arrived and it took several hours to get them. Similarly, there was no tea and coffee and although some coffee capsules were eventually brought even later than the towels, they did not fit the machine. One of the pillows for the couch bed looked like it had had a pot of tea (or worse) spilled over it. There is little sound insulation and so noise from the other apartments can be intrusive at times.
• Giada (7/5): Decent stay in Reykjavik - The proximity to the city center. The lack of cleanliness of the details. In general the apartment was clean but as soon as you looked in the corners there was a lot of dust (dirty lamps/ dirty shower curtain, some rubbish under the sofa). Moreover we stayed there 3 nights and I asked for coffee and tee for 2 days without receiving any. The staff was answering but in the end didn’t help.

• Nwadialor (9/5): Excellent stay, clean and spacious apartment with good facilities. Great location. - The collection of keys and check in was quick and easy. The location was excellent, central and good value for money. There was no microwave in the kitchen, found it difficult to warm up food.
