Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): A great location to explore the cairngorms from. - Great location and very well appointed.
- Kerstin (10/5): Süßes Cottage im Cairngorm Nationalpark - Ein ganz süßes Cottage auf einem Privatgrundstück. Ganz ruhig gelegen mit eingezäuntem Grundstück. Hinter dem Haus konnte man direkt spazieren gehen. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen.
- Caitlyn (10/5): - only a 10ish min drive to Aviemore so perfect location, very cost cottage! the mattress was quite hard but thats just preference!
- William (9/5): - Fantastic location, very helpful and very comfortable, great for an isolated get away. Unfortunately the shower kept going hot and cold every 20 seconds but it didn't diminish how absolutely wonderful it was there.
- Penelope (10/5): Simply perfect - Lots of thoughtful touches, a dog basket with treats, bowls, toy, towel and throw, ecological cleaning products, a bird feeder with feeding little birds, and fresh eggs from their chickens!
- Gemma (9/5): -
- Gemma (9/5): - Lovely space, quiet and private with kitchen worked well. We loved watching the many birds on the feeders.
shower room was new and big enough.

Very modern
- Dawn (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was cosy, warm and clean. Quiet location, surrounded by wildlife.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was great in a super location, and we couldn't have wished for anything more. Also very friendly staff and neighbours with a great view and walks around the cottage. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Robert (7/5): Cosy Cottage - This was a convenient little cottage for a remote break. It had everything needed and a nice garden area for our dog. The bed was very high, which was done to appreciate the view out the window, but it was a little tricky.
A contact less check in would also have been good.
- Christina (9/5): Superb - Beautiful little cottage in lovely location. Very comfortable and well equipped.
- Adam (10/5): Lovely, well-equipped cottage with friendly hosts. -
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (9/5): Relaxing, quiet and great to recharge the batteries - Quiet and tranquil location benefitting from the occasional sound of the nearby steam railway
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely little cottage, great location for exploring the area. Clean and host was very welcoming and friendly. Would have liked a door to close off the bedroom as we had dogs with us and would have liked to keep them out the bedroom
- Lynda (8/5): Very good - Loved the cottage. Very well equipped. Beautiful views from verandah and lovely walks on the doorstep. Immaculately clean.
The weather was amazing!
Eggs left for us, which was a lovely touch.
The owners are so lovely. Don't usually like being negative, but the wooden bed frame was quite high up. Was bruised and sore from trying to get out of bed 😪 Shower cubicle was quite small, was tricky trying to wash without banging elbows off the cubicle.
Traffic noise quite loud but the property is just off the main road to Aviemore. Quieter at night.
Would've let the owners know in person but had to rush home on day of departure.
- Sia (8/5): Very good - The privacy of the cottage, cosyness and location. Birds in the garden were great and little seating area on the porch.
- Nick (10/5): Comfortable, snug cottage in a fantastic location - Every time I needed something, it was there! Kitchen utensils, glasses, dog stuff, bird books, maps - the cottage was perfect N/a
