• Carol (10/5): We would stay again if we could it was such a relaxing and beautiful environment. - The property is set in a beautiful bushland setting , the accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. The host was very helpful. We loved the views and the garden. The driveway is tight but we are used to that and managed fine .

• Luca Grementieri (10/5): Ottimo appartamento con vista - Ottima posizione con vista sulla città e la natura con grandi vetrate nella camera da letto così come nel soggiorno, ancora meglio che nelle foto. La città è facile da raggiungere a piedi attraverso un sentiero nel bosco antistante la casa, inoltre è piacevole passare l'orario aperitivo sul patio in legno. Il bagno è gigantesco con doccia e vasca, la camera molto luminosa lo spazio cucina accessoriato con latte, succo di mela e cioccolata e caffè in polvere forniti. Purtroppo non è presente il wifi anche se l'appartamento è al piano inferiore rispetto all'alloggio dei proprietari quindi sembrerebbe facile fornirlo. Il tavolo del soggiorno non è molto spazioso per un pasto, ma si può mangoare comodamente nel tavo esterno.
• Tracey (10/5): - The apartment was in a great central location, and was very spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a walking track right out the front to walk into town which was handy. We loves our stay here.

• Jennifer (8/5): Very comfortable stay in Paihia - Pretty forest outlook. Great bathroom with a bath to have a soak. Very comfortable bed. Pretty forest walk down to the beach. Great spot to visit local attractions. Short drive to the Ngawha hot sulphur springs for a soak which was wonderful. Car Ferry ride to Russell and a wood fired pizza for lunch at the Omata winery was another highlight. Very tight area for parking and steep road access to the property. No wi- fi available. Very small bench area for food preparation.

Highly recommend! - The unit was modern, immaculate and thoughtfully presented in a quiet and relaxing bush setting, but close enough to the town centre for convenience. Karen was very helpful but also respectful of our privacy. The road up to the property is steep but it’s worth it!
• Maggie (10/5): Peaceful, private bush retreat in a spacious, modern apartment. - A peaceful, private, wonderful bush view, in a very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped apartment. Kay is a warm, friendly and gracious host who made us feel most welcome. We enjoyed the private walking track into Paihaia. Great kitchenette with an induction cooktop. Very short drive to the excellent Waitangi Treaty Grounds experience. We highly recommend Bushview Retreat 😁. No WiFi offered.

• Xynos (7/5): Enjoyable stay, close to everything. - Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great bathroom with a deep bath (even though we did not use it). Enough kitchen amenities for a couple. The outdoor area next to a bit of the bush is also great to help you relax. Location was good but definitely not as close to the beach as implied on the description of the listing. Also omitted was the fact that it is located on a steep hill with tight turns and parking is challenging on a steep driveway. Cannot turn the car around and will have to reverse into other people's homes to get out. Due to some leg injury and mobility restrictions walking up the hill was an issue for us. This aspect of the property should have been made clearer on the listing and walking through unmarked tracks in a bush land setting on a steep hill should not be recommended. Also the rented space is right under the host's house so any noises can be heard, we felt a bit weird about it.

Thank you, I hope to be back some day. - Beautiful location, very clean with everything you could need utensils wise and comfort for 3 days No internet, maybe an issue for overseas guests. I would say a must for any property however for us not a problem as my family hot spotted from mine.
