• Michelle (9/5): Pretty perfect for a work stay. Would happily book again. - Beautiful location. handy to Wanaka township if you have a vehicle. Lovely walking paths nearby. Unit is separate from the main house, attached to stand alone gge. Very comfortable bed. Wifi could be spotty but Amy was happy to suggest outdoor areas that capture it better. Big bathroom. Everything was super clean and tidy, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Ideally I would have preferred a normal dining table instead of a couch/bar stool set up for eating. Could deal with it on my own, but it would've been tight with 2 people.

• David (10/5): Exceptional. Everything about our stay was perfect. - Our 3-day stay was absolutely fantastic. We'll be back multiple times in future. Amy and Todd are super friendly and obliging. The location is superb, handy to bike/walk tracks and swimming spots. In front of the house a picnic table perched above the river is perfect for end-of-day drinks while watching fly fishermen casting on the opposite bank and the local kids jumping off the Albert Town bridge, 200m downstream. The guest accommodation is separate from the main house so is very private. Note, the photos do not do it justice. It is clean, airy and roomy. And very quiet. Amy and Todd kindly let us store our e-bikes in the adjacent secure garage. They also let us hang around on check -out day as long as we liked. Great people and a great experience. with no downside whatsoever. We liked everything about Riverside Studio!!!

No reviewer view from the apartment but very close to the river with many nice spots. Wifi connection could be improved
• Grant (5/5): Perhaps not the best base from which to explore Wanaka. - The bathroom was well stocked, and the fridge had numerous complimentary offerings, including a bottle of wine and box of chocolates. The hostess was friendly, and advised us where to find a waterhole to have a swim. The studio was clean. The property advertises free WIFI. The host informed us upon arrival that WIFI was not available, unless we stood outside her front door. We also found that the property was hot with no air conditioning. The view of the river in the photos is misleading, in that the real view from the outdoor table/chairs is of a great big asphalt area, with no river view at all. Please factor in the cost of purchasing an eSim before booking this property, and take into account that it is outside of Wanaka, which is probably the place you're visiting. To get the vibe of Wanaka, book something in town.

The studio is extremely clean and has all of the basic necessities required for your sta - The property was in a perfect location alongside a stunning river. The property had everything that you could need for a stay, and if not, the host was willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend staying here. 😊

The room was very clean The main issue was that it was not as advertised and therefore we did not get what we thought we had booked, as there was no separated bedroom and living room. It was very cramped. The host blamed this discrepancy on booking.com not publishing the correct information.

• Denise (8/5): Wanakau Break - Liked the location was nice and quiet. Was good being by the river walkway.Was a short walk to the general store ,laundromat, restaurant, and patisserie . The patisserie is really worth a visit.The kitchen was good and was great, having the grill micowave and 2 gas hobs. Was a short drive into Wanaka. The blinds on the windows let in too much light, so we got woken up really early. The high table and chairs for dining ŵere not very easy to use.

The bed was so incredibly comfortable, sufficient space, wifi was speedy. There was great attention to detail with the items you might need on travelling (ear plugs, hair ties, milk, etc).

Amy is an amazing host, couldn’t do enough to make sure my stay was great, in so many ways. One of the best hosts I’ve come across. On top of that, it’s very good value for money. Absolutely nothing negative at all.
• Kaira (10/5): Comfortable riverside studio - Awesome location, close to the lake for swimming/walks/ picnics on the picnic table, 10 minute walk up the hill for convenience store or 7 minute drive to wanaka's city. Comfortable studio with kitchenette facilities, stove top, multiuse microwave, etc. Amy was such a lovely welcoming host, she made it much more comfortable to stay, and there are little details within the studio that can help travellers, such as a small map of wanaka with local activities. As mentioned to Amy, I highly recommend this accommodation & will be referring friends & family! I would make sure to keep the windows shut just before sundown, due to mosquitos & moths coming in from the lake trees :)

• Carina (9/5): Superb - Amy is a very nice host. She welcomed us warmly and showed us the apartment. Its a cozy, clean and quiet place with everything you need to feel comfortable. The apartment is on the host's property but well separated from the main house. The Clutha river is in front of the house (however, you cannot see it from the apartment), where you could go for a swim or just having a relaxed coffee. A sportsbar is very close by where you can have dinner, if you don't want to drive into the city. We would absolutely recommand this place. Thank you, Amy, for a wonderful stay :)
