• Stacey (10/5): Quiet and Serene - So warm and friendly. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and everything you can think of was supplied, from earplugs to jewellery polishing cloths. Light breakfast was included. The overall feel, and location was so serene and relaxing. My partner and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay.

With everything you could want bar an ensuite which is unnecessary but that's the only luxury I could say was missing. Location is further out than we would prefer without a car and it's difficult to find

• Vicki (10/5): - I loved the house the room well equipped and very clean was great we could have our dog with us. That the owners are right next to your room a little uncomfortable but they were both lovely but felt I was watched with everything you do cameras everywhere.

• Cherie (8/5): Pleasant Stay with Pleasant People & their Pets. - I liked that Pets were welcome (even though I didn't have pets with me). The residential Dog barked at my Door for a pat, which was a pleasant surprise :-). There wasn't necessarily anything that I didn't like. I think the dirt track may have been a problem with rain, (as my Car's not a 4x4), however it didn't rain while I was there.
• Claudio (10/5): - Jude and Mark were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. It was like visiting friends. Their home is a beautiful Queenslander, and the rooms are comfortable and have everything that we needed. When we wanted to go out for dinner, Jude and Mark drove their old Pontiac and took our son with them for a drive, and we followed them to the shops. Could not fault a thing and looking forward to visiting again soon. Thanks for all your help. Claude, Gib, Arun and Sooni.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet The track was a bit rougher than I expected but it did not subtract any of the charm
• Kiah (10/5): - As a first-time solo traveler at 19, I immediately felt welcomed and completely safe. I'm already planning my next visit! Staying here felt like staying at a friend's house—the accommodations were beautiful, and the area was amazing.
• Owens (10/5): A hidden gem - The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room was very spacious...and it smelled amazing! The whole place was pristine, even under the house! (that's impressive Jude 😊). There were so many thoughtful touches such as a whole jug of drinking water (and more where that came from), your own tea, coffee and kettle in the room as well as a little welcome snack. The continental breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious as well. I loved having access to the massage 'seat' which I took full advantage of while I relaxed in my comfortable room, and being in the middle of the forest was the icing on the cake for me. What a beautiful old, century home with warm and welcoming hosts. The facilities were top notch and the surroundings peaceful. Thank you Jude and Mark! Honestly, as long as you are comfortable sharing a space with other people (this may not be for everybody) I cannot see how you would not enjoy your stay at Rustic Sunflower. I really did enjoy my time from start to finish.

The location is basically in the middle of the forest and feels very secluded and peaceful even though the neighborhood and the next city are very close. Nothing to hear but cicadas and Kookaburras. The room had everything I needed and more.

• Tom (10/5): 1000% would recommend! - Incredible little gem hidden in the Brisbane forest. We loved the warm welcome of our hosts as well as all the cute dogs and cat. The breakfast was an awesome bonus! It's really like a peaceful haven that feels like home the second you walk in the beautiful house. Nothing!

It is located in the middle of nature, in a place where you can hear birds singing in the morning and you have amazing trees all around! Everything you might need for cooking is there, the breakfast is included and both the shared bathroom and the room were spotlessly clean :) strong wi Fi connection and plugs next to the bed. Warm welcome by the owners:) The bed was very soft (it's not a low point though, it's just a personal preference). Even though we like animals a lot and we enjoyed the presence of the lovely dogs and cats the owners have, I missed the info there were animals around, it might be useful for other guests to know beforehand that there are animals around it case of allergies or anything

We had our breakfast on the deck. The queensland style house located in the forest, quiet. The shopping centre is on 5km away, lots of choice for dinner.

• Pat (7/5): Nice house owner to live with - Friendly house owner. Pets friendly. Clean rooms. Borrow us an extra mattress for nothing. A bit hard to find, strongly recommend the owner sending the Google map screenshot to the guests, that will help a lot. A bit nervous to live with the house owner in the same property together and use the facilities in the common room such as the TV and massage chair etc... One room doesn't have aircon but has a small heater to slowly warm up the room.

I would stay there again if I'm in Brisbane - I loved the location, it's secluded and the room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. I thought it was great value for the money. Plus you don't have to pay extra for parking. So if you don't need to stay right in Brisbane, it's a good place to lay your head. Nothing.

• Kryss Eamer (10/5): Absolutely worth the drive! - The relativity remote location, with spectacular views of the mountains and a short hike away in the Brisbane river, is a welcome change from the bustling city and dingy motel rooms. Jude and Mark are very welcoming, the dog Sage loves belly rubs, the massage chair is absolutely heaven-sent. Highly recommend Rustic Sunflower! I honestly can't think of anything to complain about - compared to my last accommodation experience, this is paradise!

• AZUMA (10/5): - During our road trip, we got tired of sleeping in the car and decided to book a hostel and chose this one as it was the cheapest. This was a great house for a price that felt too cheap. When we arrived, water that must have been freshly taken out of the refrigerator was ready, the room was huge and the amenities were great. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, and the shower here was heaven for me after using public showers for days. The two dogs and one cat in the house were very cute and soothing. The location was a little far from the city, but it was a quiet and lovely place, so we were very satisfied with our stay. Jude and Mark are super nice people and this house is so beautiful.Thank you so much
