- Elizabeth (10/5): Beautiful county house - Portinaghy House is an amazing country house experience. Overlooking the lake , (with tarmac 3.5 km easy walk ) I had a lake view room, well worth the little bit extra. I was here for a wedding in Castle Leslie and taxis were readily available for transport to and from venue if required. Very friendly environment ,lovely warm welcome, breakfast was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing

- Dobrin Gueorguiev (10/5): Great location, nice house, pleasant hosts! - The house itself is gorgeous and in a great location. They also have very good breakfast. They are close to the Castle Leslie Estate and a perfect place to stay if you are attending a wedding or some event there. Our room had a full length mirror which was perfect for getting ready for the wedding we were attending.
James also offered us a ride to the event as taxi service can be spotty. This is not normal and shouldnt be assumed that he would do that though I wouldn't put it past him, he was very nice! Thank you for hosting us! Nothing really. The location was perfect. Maybe better taxi service TO and from the BnB but this is not a reflection of the BnB but of the area.

However, he still got me sorted, even though I arrived quite late and last minute. Very friendly and accommodating! Also honoured the price quoted. Everything was great, no complaints

I slept like a log. The owner Robert was very nice, as was the lovely Nuala who served me a yummy breakfast! Only that the bathroom wasn’t ensuite.. but it was only a few steps away down the hall so I didn’t mind at all as my room was so inexpensive.
