Impossibly light fresh bread on arrival with butter and jam……… breakfast done RIGHT. The apartment is great. Studio style with kitchen, living room in same area. Separate bedroom with en-suite. Bed is SO comfortable. Annex is located next to main house and hosts welcome people to walk around the grounds…..beautiful. Will definitely stay there again. A+++ We weren’t there longer 😞

• Geraint (8/5): Lovely stay, great place, clean, modern, warm. Loads of quality amenities. - It was a lovely size, beautifully decorated. Bedroom and bath room were spacious. Kitchen had all the stuff you need and there was a good coffee machine, which was lovely to see after a day with 2 nine year olds at Lapland UK. Sofa beds could have been a little bit more comfortable.

That’s me being picky though, it was otherwise perfect 🤩

• corfield (10/5): An absolutely amazing location, Property and people. - The property was amazing a wonderful walks. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. All the slight issue which could’ve been resolved very easily (by us) was there was no milk for tea and coffee the next morning but I’m sure if I’d asked the wonderful host would’ve provided some. So no complaints on our side.

• Julie (7/5): Location perfect for my stay! - Location was perfect for my stay! Peaceful and comfortable. Fresh bread delivered in the morning was a lovely touch. More detailed Information for directions were sent too late via email and as I was driving I wasn't aware they had been sent so I had already used the address and postcode given on Booking.com website which caused much confusion. A note on Booking website to say don't use the postcode and await more detailed directions to be sent would be so helpful!

• Elizabeth (7/5): Lovely location, lovely property except if you need to sleep on the sofa bed. - We did not take up the offer of breakfast. The location is beautiful and quiet. My daughter slept on the sofa bed and found it extremely uncomfortable. I gave her pillows from my bed. There was not a lot of crockery - I phoned the host who apologised and immediately told me where I could find some.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was clean and beautifully decorated. They ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, with amazing views out in the country. Thank you for such a memorable stay we will definitely be back!

The cottage was comfortable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There are good walks from right outside the door. Leaving! Would have been lovely to stop longer 🙂

• Nicola (10/5): A beautiful apartment in an idyllic surrounding. - The hosts were waiting at our arrival so super easy to get in. The location is idyllic, it usually takes me a little time to relax and sleep well but the quiet location and link to their family home made me feel immediately safe. The decor in the apartment is just as the photos, lots of attention to detail and nice little touches to make you feel at home. Nothing, it is a great accommodation and we would stay again!!

The property was exceptional, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Really well organised and everything you could want was provided. Lovely welcome package of bread, milk, jams and butter provided. We loved our stay and would recommend it fully. Nothing - it was perfect.

A place we’d both come again & - Its location, its presentation, the cleanliness of the whole site externally and internally Re: the bed I was ok for my height but my hubby whose tall feet hung out the bed, so his feet at times felt the cold. But this didn’t take away our enjoyment.

Judith and her partner made our stay very welcome and if you’re considering booking a hotel then don’t as this place has everything you could need. The Annex was very clean and tidy, all the important things you need are provided and you have amazing countryside to explore. Will definitely like to book again :)

• King-smith (1/5): DON'T GO HERE. - Nothing - I left the property as it was not fit for purpose. I did like how the stove didn't work, the fact there was no bedding for the sofa (it's a stretch to call it a bed - it's a platform as hard as a floor), and I really enjoyed the nasty and untruthful reply I've just received for my request for a refund. I enjoyed the reply to our calls and text messages 5 hours later at 01:30 am. I liked it so much I actually stayed at a travelodge and was far more comfortable. The owners will issue no refund. They will be hearing from my solicitor. Where to begin? No stove working, no second bed, no heating after 21:30, no contact from the owner, no bedding for the second bed. And when the response did come we are initially offered a 50% refund, but later on we are made out to be liars and told we left the property in a dirty state. It was no dirtier than how we found it. We are seeking full refund and reimbursement.

This is a very small complaint . I arrived very late but could not find the Wi-Fi password written down anywhere . It will be nice if it was written in the information pack folder . Apologies if I missed it .
