• Andrew (9/5): This was the perfect place to spend our wedding anniversary. We would happily stay here again. - The setting is beautiful, with mature trees surrounding the property. The suite was a great size and offered considerable privacy. The bathroom and modern room fittings were wonderful and worked perfectly. Disabled access was very satisfactory. A coffee table in the lounge area would have been useful for snacks while watching TV. That would be the only criticism. Everything else was great.

• Meghan (7/5): Nice lodging on a vineyard in McLaren Vale - The room itself was quite large and comfortable. The outdoor terrace area was overlooking the vineyard and was quite beautiful with the vines changing color in the autumn. The bed was quite comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Very nice smelling soaps in the bathroom (Kevin Murphy). Guests could enjoy an included wine tasting at the vineyard - we appreciated that the woman at the tasting room let us given we arrived after 4 PM and they were closing at 5 PM. I may have missed this when making the booking, but the restaurant onsite is only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings (at least in the fall when we visited). We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon anticipating that we would be able to get dinner at the venue, and we only found out that it was not possible after checking in and viewing the dining options on the tablet in the room. So an FYI to others who may be arriving on any other day than Friday or Saturday - there are limited options unless you drive 10-15 minutes into town!
• Shane (8/5): - Beautiful location We arrived at 4:50pm and couldn't get into the property as the staff had knocked off. They had left our key inside the room without telling us which room it was in or providing a key to get in, because the key was locked in the room. We were lucky to catch someone cleaning late in the restaurant who helped us, and she was fantastic and helped us solve this reverse escape room. Other than that it was great.
• Olivia (8/5): - Beautiful view from the room. Great location and facilities. Lovely staff Unfortunately wasn’t as clean as it could have been which was a bit disappointing. A previous guests belongings were on the couch and a used dressing gown hanging in the wardrobe. If it wasn’t for this our stay would have been perfect.

There wasn't much we didn't like, i would say a nice welcome basket would have been great with maybe a sampling of their products. And the plunge pool being heated would have been amazing!

• Alet (10/5): Modern, clean, posh nature stay in excellent location - The location, the views, the modern, clean and sophisticated interior finishes of the room. We came from overseas and attended a wedding in the area so I appreciated the attention to detail to amenities such as a steamer, iron, ironing tong and blow dryer which all came in handy! The views, nature sounds and vineyards are all stunning and well manicured. The staff are all super friendly and we saw beautiful kangaroos on the farm during a nature walk. That the restaurant is separate from where we stayed so you have to drive up, but it was minor, just have to be aware if you expect to walk for a lunch or dinner.

With so many other options available in the area, will not recommend to frie - Setting, view and design No check-in process, which made life difficult since when we arrived it was apparently “closed for private function.” Ants (dead and alive) in the coffee machine water tank. Rubbish in the drawer from previous occupants. Previously-arranged bubbly and chocolates were not in the room. Nothing but an apology offered on check-out.

• Caitlyn (10/5): - Very spacious, clean and had everything we needed! Absolutely loved having a private pool with an outdoor heater supplied for the cooler days/nights. Overall had a very positive experience!!
• Carol Sydney (10/5): Special accommodation with stunning vineyard views. Worth paying that little bit extra to stay here - The location is great in the middle of the wineries. The rooms or Pavilions are all at ground level and very private. The room is spacious with a patio that looks directly onto the vineyard. The fixtures and fittings are all high quality, including a fresh bean, coffee machine, linen and barbeque on the patio area. We did the free wine tasting, which was informative and we liked the wines. We did not go to the restaurant as it is not open early in the week. My top tips in the area are Star of Greece restaurant in Port Willunga and The Cube D'Arenburg winery. The photos on the website do not do justice to the accommodation.

We had a fantastic time - Beautiful room and property I wish the pool was heated and the outdoor area had some more wind protection. It was very windy and cold at night so the outdoor heater wasn’t able to stay on. Would be a possible issue during the height of winter

• Jessica (7/5): Winery retreat - Great location in a beautiful winery - the free wine tasting included in stay were great (including a non-alc option). The rooms were very spacious with a great balcony and privacy, very comfy bed, great coffee machine and sweet treat on arrival. The decor was beautiful and the rooms felt like new. We felt the photos and ad was misleading - when we booked it looked like rooms have a bathtub which was one of the reasons we paid for this more expensive accommodation over others we were looking at. I was disappointed to arrive and find this wasn't the case.

• Katherine (10/5): A good stop in McLaren Vale, a lovely room with space and a great balcony view. - A superb room with a lot of space and great view over the vineyard. The staff were all very helpful and arranged a cheese plate for the room in the evening. Very relaxed. The hotel was very quiet, but other guests were put in the room next door and the had music playing. If it is quiet, maybe put the guests further apart if the rooms are available.

• Jana (10/5): Einfach ein ‚Muss‘, wenn man in dieser Gegend ist. - Einfach umwerfend! Und absolut empfehlenswert ist das Restaurant oben auf dem Hügel. Dieses darf man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Da es zweimal vom Haus offeriertes ‚tasting‘ gibt, ist einmal eine Pizza im Tasting room angesagt. Der hauseigene kleine Pool ist bei heissen Temperaturen eine herrliche Abkühlung und nur 10 Minuten Fahrt weiter ist das Meer mit wunderbarem Strand. Einfach grandios!

Turning off the lighting proved challenging. No shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries. The staff were run off their feet on Saturday for our tasting and dining experience. So they were not attentive as our other experiences elsewhere.
