• Johan (10/5): A wonderful, peaceful Karoo farm stay! - A wonderful, peaceful Karoo farm stay. The space was spacious, clean, and beautifully neat, with thoughtful touches like rusks, good coffee, and cold water on arrival. My dogs absolutely loved the freedom and space, which made the stay even more special. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming. A truly relaxing place that I would happily return to. Everything was perfect.

• Cas (7/5): Overnight stay - The property is located just outside town. very Quiet and peaceful. The warm water is made by using a "donkey". In the morning there was no hot water.

• Toni (7/5): Interesting , comfortable , perhaps to hot at night , peaceful . - Authentic and set in its historic time No air conditioner , the night was exceptionally hot , making the sleep uncomfortable. Thr permanent neighbour on the property was smoking and it blew into our area making it very uncomfortable. We leave the city because of the pollution and only to be plagued by it . We chose the facility because it was non smoking , we dispose smokers disrespectful attitude to refrain around non smokers which is a serious health hazard .
• Nomads (10/5): A cosy, comfortable & quiet gem for relaxing in. - This was a delightfully maintained & decorated 3 bed period house. Janus and Isabe's love, care & pride were evident throughout. It was neat clean, tidy, fresh & welcoming. There was plenty of hot water, very good quality linens, well equipped throughout & coffee tea sugar & rusks were also provided. There were floor standing electric fans in every room, though the 43C days were a little challenging for us, coming from -8C UK. There were plenty of eco saving bulbs giving good levels of lighting; much appreciated. We regret having only booked one night on our route. A good place to relax. We hope to come back. Janus & Isabe were the ultimately friendly, kind, generous & helpful hosts. Nothing disappointed us in the property, but the heat was uncomfortable for us, coming from the cold UK.

• Sally (6/5): Pleasant - Very good location, just off the N12. Plenty of space for children and dogs to run around, as long as your dogs are ok with the roosters that live there. Bathroom was a bit rustic, and the hot water in the shower didn't work, but luckily it was a hot day so was ok.

• Henriette (9/5): Farm-stay Strydenburg - We want a quiet place to relax after a long trip. Tick. We want a secure place for our 2 doggies. Tick. We want to braai outside with millions of stars as a roof. Tick. We want to have a nice bed and bedding. Tick. And besides all we bought some lovely braaipack from the owners. Surprise surprise it came with the perfect tomato and cheese sandwich. Love the place Swimming pool might have a little bit botox or facelift

• Agust (8/5): Gem to be visited - Friendly people with warm hearts. Thank you. It's such a pleasure to stay there. Definitely to stay over again. It is very spacious to accommodate a big family. Everything was great. Service has been excellent .
