- Heather (8/5): Beautiful chalet, very comfortable and clean. We loved the hot tub. Chalet was in a beautiful place. - Was lovely and clean and comfortable. Chalet was in a beautiful place with lovely scenery. We loved the hot tub. Was a lovely chalet, shower in en-suite had problems with, window in a twin room was broken, problems with patio door, fridge door not fitting properly, which I think we should have been told about. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.
- natalie (10/5): Lovely stay and host was very accommodating - Great communication from our host.
- Laura (3/5): Highly disappointed - The location The lack of help and advise.
Hot tub not warm for us arriving but we reboot it. Unfortunately couldn't use it the day we arrived.. 2nd day was no ones fault there was a powercut but the lack of anything not great.
Had to leave early due to the cold for my elderly aunt.
Paid for 3 night. No hot tub the 1st night. No power the 2nd. But more disappointing was the lack of empathy, compassion. During or even after I contacted booking.com. we have stayed on this site before and loved it. 100% would not book this cabin again
- Matt (8/5): Fantastic getaway lodge in a picturesque location - Very spacious and comfortable, equipped kitchen and a ninja airfryer, fantastic recliner sofas with built in cup holders, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, smart tv with streaming options, large size fridge and freezer No plastic glassware for outside by the hot tub, no baking trays for oven, everything else expected was provided

- leeann (7/5): Overall lovely stay - Hot tub No mop for cleaning bathroom floors. Bathroom needs storage.
- Dougie (8/5): Very relaxing and great weather - Lovely location and very comfortable. Hot tub was great once we got temperature right. Just a couple of small things one of windows in bedroom is to be fixed and cutlery drawer was loose. The owner very kindly explained what to do to get temperature right in hot tub.
- Kayleigh (8/5): Perfect Scottish countryside stay - Beautiful location, lovely lodge, all the amenities we needed, hot tub was a massive plus which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
- Holtzy (10/5): -
- Jan (5/5): - Lokalita Špatná komunikace ze strany personálu. Nefunkční recepce. Personál neni flexibilni a ochotný řešit problémy. Špatně uklizeno v kuchyni - pavučiny na stropě. Nedostatek toaletního papíru na WC. Chybějící stěrka na vodu v koupelně. - sprcha stříká až k toaletě/ nedostatečné oddělení sprchy a WC. Fotografie ubytování nepdpovídají skutečnosti. Chybí návody ke spotřebičům.
- Andrew Bendall (8/5): -
- Gary (10/5): Good value and very comfortable. - Clean with all necessary utilities. Very warm and comfortable.
- Peter (9/5): Visiting family with insufficient space in their house- this made it work. - Spacious and well appointed. Nothing.
- Colin (5/5): Disappointing, look elsewhere for now. - The location is very good with fabulous views to the front of the lodge. On arrival, the first thing I noted was the loose treads on the steps to the door which could be an issue for less able or infirm guests. The bedding was a mess in each room, crumpled and poorly presented with blood stains on a pillow. Bedding in the main bedroom had not been changed and smelled of perfume and smelly man. I called the owner who assured me the bedding had been changed, there's no way that had happened. The dishwasher was full of dishes on my arrival. The fridge was filthy and the en suite toilet was dirty. There are several failed double glazing units which make the place look tatty. Numerous windows are inoperative with notes to say 'do not open', the en suite window doesn't open which was a nuisance, the fan doesnt work either with another sign!! The sofas are past their best and are lumpy. There is a dishwasher which was a bonus, but no washing tablets. There was no dish cloth or kitchen roll.
Overall, the lodge was disappointing. It needs some investment and someone who takes care in its presentation for arriving guests. Its a pity as it could be fantastic.
- Pamela (10/5): Great week away with the family! - Lovely place to stay, beautiful scenery, clean, a home from home. Looking forward to returning in the future.
- Elaine (9/5): Superb -
- Lynne (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good - Plenty space for the family. Beds were comfy, water was hot and the hot tub was great for the kids.
- Liz (9/5): Superb - Stayed at the location before, so knew staying here would be lovely. Quiet even though site busy due to school holidays. Spacious bedrooms. Showers were great. Sofas could be upgraded, getting a bit worn and lumpy now. We brought our own towels, which worked out as towels were small and thin.
- Cameron (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (8/5): Lovely, relaxed and exactly what we all needed! - Hassel free Couple of maintence issues bedroom window (top) fell out of position, managed to reset but needs fixed.
Hot tub wasnt looked at all weekend not tested or refilled.
- Eddie (9/5): Great place - The facilitet None
- Meike (10/5): Great spot, great service - Fantastic location, really spacious for 6, good hot tub and great facilities. The wifi wasn’t very strong or stable but it is wifi from the general lodges site, and many people are using it. Not quite reliable if you need to do many meetings, but for a regular holiday etc it’s absolutely fine!
- Kirsty (7/5): Very nice short break - The location was perfect for a family get together. Overall the lodge was clean and comfortable for our short stay. Would definitely consider again for another break in the area. It was chilly when we arrived and the thermostat was set to 16 degrees with a rather aggressive label instructing us not to change or 'charges would apply'. A bin bag, extra loo roll and couple of dishwasher tablets would have been very welcome for the price we were paying. No sign of any staff and reception was closed whilst we were there so it was tricky to find our lodge on arrival as the numbers weren't clear and I didn't get the instructions of how to find the key.
