• Moira (10/5): Character cottage - a renovated miners cottage near Bodmin moor. How more Cornish could you get? - This is a character property. A renovated miners cottage. We felt privileged to stay here. It is for people who enjoy history and can manage the steep stairs. If that’s you, don’t miss it. We loved the character and rural views, so for us it was perfect. It has everything you would expect for a building of its age.
• Nishal (10/5): Perfect stay in rural Cornwall - The location of the cottage was easy to find thanks to the pin drop sent by the hosts. The cottage is located in a quiet, rural farmland area with narrow roads. Amazing view from the cottage of the surrounding countryside. The two bedrooms had enough space to sleep four people very comfortably. The kitchen, living room, bathroom and dining area were all splendid. It would have been nice if there was a clock in the living room. The cottage has an excellent waste management system with recycling, etc. As an additional sustainability measure, it would be better if the toilet had a small flush option to save water.

Mark and Sandra were very accommodating and welcoming, such lovely people who go above and beyond to make your holiday the best it can be. Very quiet location with no cars passing by hardly. Their 3 dogs were all very friendly and we loved them all. We love dogs and they definitely made our stay better being able to see and stroke them. Nothing!

• John (10/5): Comfortable and peaceful countryside break - Host very helpful, patient, and friendly. Made to feel welcome, and things we needed to know were explained well. My children were comfortable and happy. The garden and surrounding area were described to us, which enabled a lovely walk. We would stay here again if coming to this area. It would not be fair to complain about anything here, as we had a good stay with the things we needed to hand. There was sufficient opportunity to ask for help or anything we needed. We did not have any problems, but I am confident that if we had, they would have been addressed quickly and effectively.

• Ian (9/5): Peaceful location, cosy cottage. - A very quiet cottage, which is what I'd wanted. It was up a narrow lane, but I knew that from checking out Google maps before I booked. Friendly host and met me to give me the key. The SE facing rear porch / access got sun all morning, a lovely place to have coffee. Only birdsong, a woodpecker and the sound of sheep, mostly.🙂 Good kitchen facilities and the dishwasher was a bonus. The shower arrangement on the taps worked very well. The access was a little tricky with 2 gates and a number of narrow stone steps. I have a little arthritis and could cope OK, but in winter, with less mobility, others may struggle.

• Sheila (10/5): Exceptional - What a little gem of a place. Cottage was snug and quirky. It had everything you would need for a great stay, plus the views were amazing and definitely good value for money. We would definitely stay again.. Hosts were friendly and welcoming 😀 .
• Michael (9/5): Great value accomodation in the countryside. - Everything was the same as our last visit apart from an added air fryer that we didn't use. Cooked some pizzas we took this time to avoid going into Liskeard for food and that worked well. Nothing much, for this price and with a requirement for 2 bedrooms this really can't be beaten if you don't mind being out in the countryside.

• Michael (9/5): Really good base for green laning (probably cycling or walking also!) - Quiet location was perfect for us, very handy for lots of green lanes. Cottage is lovely and warm, very quaint and big double bed is super. Lots of storage and a very well equipped kitchen. WiFi worked well. The other guy in the single bed said his duvet was a bit small.
