• Aysu (9/5): - The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We needed recommendations for an Etna tour, and Giulio kindly suggested a tour agency and even helped with communication. The location is very central. Regarding safety, there are two roads leading to the hotel from the city center — if you arrive from the opera side, it’s a safe and comfortable area. In the shower and in the room, there aren’t enough surfaces to place personal items. Adding more tables or larger nightstands would make the space more convenient and comfortable.

Когато влизаш се озоваваш в антрето, което е оборудвано с кафе, голямо разнообразие от чай и няколко вида сладкиши на които да се насладиш по време на престоят си. Домакините са много мили! Разболях се по време на почивка и последният ден след напускането на квартирата имахме нужда от помощ за временен престой отзоваха се помогнаха ни с всичко което можеха! Благодаря им от сърце ! Нямаше простор на терасата, но домакините казаха, че предстои да поставят липсата била временна конкретно за стая номер 2. В 1 има виждаше се от нашата тераса

• Spyros (10/5): - ΗΤΑΝ καλό ευρύχωρο ! Η τοποθεσία του αν και ήταν πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα καλή το βράδυ! Ήταν τρομακτικό το σημείο και σκοτεινό!! Ειδικά η είσοδο της πολυκατοικίας είναι μέσα σε εσοχή δρόμου και σκοτεινά με αποτέλεσμα να είναι επίφοβο! Επίσης η πόρτα ήταν πάντα ξεκλείδωτη και δεν κλείδωνε !

• Κατερίνα (8/5): - Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο με άνετο κρεβάτι! Ειναι καλά συντηρημένο. Είχαμε πολύ καλή επικοινωνία με τον ιδιοκτήτη σε ο,τι κ αν χρειαστήκαμε. Είναι περίπου στα 10' με τα πόδια από τα κεντρικά σημεία. Η περιοχή δεν φάνηκε και η καλύτερη. Το GPS για να πας προς το κέντρο σε έβγαζε σε κατι πολύ σκοτεινά στενά που φαίνονταν επικίνδυνα απο τον κόσμο που υπήρχε εκεί. Το δωμάτιο είναι στον 2ο όροφο χωρίς ασανσέρ και με λιγο φωτισμό στην είσοδο- πρόκειται για παλιά πολυκατοικία.

• Bíborka Csenge (8/5): - Nagyon jó elhelyezkedés, séta távolságra a központtól.Jó ár-érték arány. Kényelmes ágy. Be és kijelentkezés nagyon egyszerű volt kulcsszéf használatával. A fürdőszoba kisebb mint ahogy azt a képek alapján sejteni lehetett. A párnák számunkra kemények voltak, de ez ízlés dolga.Alapvetően tisztaság volt, de az ágytakaró sajnos nem tűnt a legtisztábbnak. A légkondi csak akkor működik, ha a szobában tartózkodik az ember (mert csak akkor volt áram), így nehezebb lehűteni a szobát (ez nem a szálláshely hibája).
• Mathijs (7/5): Een prima overnachting in Catania net buiten het centrum. - Mooie leuke locatie verzien van alle gebruiksgemakken en handigheden die je nodig hebt voor je vakantie. Er is een kleine pantry waar je koffie en thee kan pakken en hebt een kleine koelkast waar je wat drinken en eten in kan opbergen. Verder heb je een heel fijn balkon waar je strandkleding kan ophangen, een spelletje kan doen en lekker kan ontbijten in de ochtend. De douche was goed en de volledige badkamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Toen we aankwamen waren de bedden wat bevuild, er zaten donkere vlekken op en zwarte haren die niet van ons waren. Na een bericht te hebben gestuurd zijn de bedden verschoond, dus uiteindelijk was het geen probleem. Verder mis je af en toe een keuken waar je wat eten in kan klaarmaken. Gelukkig heb je veel supermarkten en patisserieën waar je kant en klare boodschappen kan halen, zodat je geen keuken meer hoeft te gebruiken.

We appreciated the cleanliness and the fact that in the common halway we had a coffee machine, cookies and tea. The bed was very comfortable and the room has also a small balcony. We enjoyed our stay there. The fact that the rooms are at the top floor and there is no elevator. So it was quite a struggle to carry the luggage on the stairs...

Location is good, close to central landmarks, but the neighborhood feels dirty and bit unsafe. Room is new, modern, well designed with great ceiling and a nice small balcony. Common lobby was useful addition with coffee machine and kettle together with packed italian snacks. The building doesn't have an elevator. As in previus reviews, the apartment could use some bathroom storage items and a room door handle, but it's not a big issue.
• Vera (7/5): It was ok but would recommend to improve the cleanliness - It was quite, closed to bus stops. The personal very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is not very safe or clean. It was very hot inside the room, as soon as we turned off the air conditioning we couldn’t breathe from the heat. And didn’t like that towels were dirty and bed sheets had lint. I recommend to improve this point.

Personalul a fost foarte amabil si am tinut legatura pe whatsapp pe tot parcursul sejurului. Din punct de vedere al usurintei de calatorit, locatia este foarte buna, insa este intr o zona aproape de gara unde este mizerie pe strazi si plin de mirosuri ciudate

It was very quick and easy to access from the airport with public transportation + the central train station is also quite close, which is great if you are planning on travelling to the nearby cities during your stay. City centre was also in walking distance. :) The neighbourhood didn't always feel safe during evenings, but we had no issues. It would be nice to have some hooks for hand towels in the bathroom, but other than that everything was great.:)

• Vukašin (9/5): Чист и леп смештај на 5 минута шетње од главног трга у Катанији - Одличан и чист смештај у центру Катаније на 5 минута шетње од главног трга. Интернет, садржаји и особље је било сјајно. Такође морам да похвалим одређене ситнице које боравак чине још бољим: пре уласка у собе имате мини лоби где можете сваког јутра попити кафу и осладити се. С обзиром да смо стигли у собе у каснијим сатима, дочекале су нас и две флашице воде које у моментима после дугог пута јако значе. Након одјављивања можете оставити пртљаг у смештају и накнадно га покупити пре одласка што је много битно! У купатилу би било добро поставити још држача за пешкире и поставити неку полицу која ће држати шампоне.

• Marton (10/5): It is a lovely and highly recommended place - Lustru Apartment is the place to go in Catania. The rooms are well-designed, clean, quiet, and come with a comfortable bed. Also, the location is quite central, meaning that it is easy to explore the city using the apartment as your point of departure. And the host is super nice and responsive. Highly recommended!
• Paulo (10/5): Excellent Room - The location is perfect, right between Catania Central Station and the centre of the city centre, you can reach everything on foot within 10 minutes. The area and the building entrance are bit dark, but I never felt unsafe, however I don't recommend walking through Via Giovanni di Prima at night, take Via Antonino di Sangiuliano or Via Vittorio Emanuele II instead. The room was exactly as on pictures and comfortable, no issues at check-in, the balcony has a pleasant view. I really appreciated the complimentary free real espresso coffee and the cookies for a quick breakfast. Beware the room is on the second floor without lift, so it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The host Giulio was very kind and gave good tips for city. I recommend Lustru rooms and would definitely stay here again. The room door lock should be replaced as it does not have an handle to open from the outside, you can only open the door with the room key. This could be a big issue if you happen to go to prepare some coffee and the room door closes itself with the key and mobile phone inside the room, this a scenario that may easily happen and should be avoided.

• Paweł (9/5): Very good place in a reasonable price. - Very nice, new, and clean apartment. The location is great, close to the statation and the centre. Host is helpful and responsive. Maybe one or two hooks or a shelf in the bathroom would be great, especially if the stay is bit longer.

Abbiamo apprezzato la macchinetta del caffè e le tisane. Il host era molto gentile, subito pronto a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. L’androne all’ingresso è un po’ buio e trascurato. Magari un gancetto in più servirebbe in bagno per appendere gli asciugamani bagnati, dopo la doccia.

• Diana M (10/5): Excellent - The apartment is close to the city center, you can walk like 10-12 min to get there. Everything is modern and new in the room, spacious enough for 2 people. Ivan is very nice person and very helpful. Also, we can find there some coffee, tea, pastry. For sure we will recommend this accommodation to our friends. One little thing: maybe they need to insist more when they clean the rooms.

The room was very clean and Giulio, one of the owners, was very attentive and helped us with all our requests. He also helped us with a transfer from the Airport in the evening. Although there is no breakfast, in the common area were croissants, coffee and tea at our disposal. A small gesture that shows they care about their guests. Everything was good

• Jan Henry (7/5): Good value for money in a central and quiet location with an extremely comfortable bed and very friendly staff. - The room is very central, yet absolutely quiet, with no street noise. The cathedral, art museums, train station, main shopping street (Via Etnea) as well as many historical sites, markets and many excellent and inexpensive restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in – including the excellent pillows – in any hotel or holiday apartment the excellent pillows. The tiny balcony was great for enjoying a morning coffee or drying towels (we i did go swimming in the sea end of November), but not much more. The bathroom was small, but well equipped, including a bidet. The bathrooms drains were very smelly. The room itself had very few shelves or places to put things, which meant that we had to live out of our suitcases. That would be ok for a very short stay, but for a week it got a bit tedious. A few more shelves would make the stay much more comfortable.

When renting an apartment, there is always the problem of how to get through the first door of the house for the first time, because the owner of the apartment usually lives elsewhere.

• Simas (10/5): Perfect room for a short stay - Really nice room in a great location. Communication with the host was smooth and pleasant. We didn’t expect room service, but to our surprise, the ladies took out our trash, provided water, and restocked supplies like toilet paper and shower gel. To summarize, everything was excellent. There was a smell in the bathroom coming from the plumbing. I’m not sure if it was an issue with the apartment, the building, or Catania in general.
• Mercédesz (10/5): Stílusos és kényelmes szállás apró figyelmességekkel - A szállás nagyon szép, rendkívül igényesen berendezett. Az ágy mellett vannak konnektorok és kapcsolók is a lámpákhoz, amelyek nagyon kényelmessé teszik a pihenést. A személyzet nagyon kedves volt, reggel nagyon kedvesen segítettek még kávét főzni is. A becsekkolást végző fiatalember nagyon precíz, azonnal válaszol az üzenetekre, nagyon pontos instrukciókat küld a szoba átvételéhez, ami ritka. Imádtam a lakás stílusát és azt is, hogy nagyon illatos és rendkívül tiszta volt az egész. Az előtérben teával, kávéval és néhány harapnivalóval is kedveskednek a vendégeiknek, a szobába bekészített vízen túl. Nagyon apró gesztusok ezek, de nagyon kényelmessé teszik az érkezés utáni pillanatokat. A környék éjszaka elég ijesztő, de mivel közel van az állomás, számítottam rá. Ettől eltekintve minden tökéletes volt! Néhány apróság, ami még magasabb színvonalúvá teheti a kiruccanást: A földszinti és a bejárati ajtót is nehéz volt kinyitni, lehet érdemes lenne megnézni őket. A fenti ajtóba beragadt a kicsit elferdült kulcsunk, kb. 10 perc után sikerült kiszednünk onnan azt. A mosdónál a csap kicsit hosszú, így egy szimpla arcmosásnál nagyon fröcsköl.
• Małgorzata (7/5): Spędziliśmy miło czas w obiekcie. - Dobry kontakt z obsługą. Możliwość wypożyczenia auta na miejscu. Lokalizacja ok, blisko do centrum. Możliwość również pozostawienia bagażu. Personel wchodził do pokoju bez informacji, zabierał śmieci i to tyle. Brak wymiany ręczników itp.
• Dimitris (10/5): Great value for money - The hosts were very accommodating, polite and helpful. They kept in touch through WhatsApp throughout our stay. Coffee and tea and a variety of cakes were made freely available every day, as were two bottles of water on our arrival. The apartment was newly renovated in a modern style and was cleaned every three days. Location was close to the bus terminals and railway station. The apartment was close to the city centre and main attractions. We were able to leave our luggage in the property for a few hours after check-out and collected it later in the day. Giulio even carried our two suitcases down two flights of stairs. We would highly recommend this property.

• Noémi (10/5): Mindenképp visszatérnénk ide bármikor! - Közel volt a látványosságokhoz, sétával simán el lehetett jutni bárhová. A szállásadó és a takarító csapat rettentően kedves emberek! Tisztaság volt és egy modern lakás benyomását kelti. Illetve tetszett a rugalmas be és kicsekkolás az apartmanból. A szobánkban volt a “felső szinten” egy kis ajtó, ami mögött valószínű a vízhálózat húzódott, ezért ha bárki vizet használt az apartmanokban, azt mi hallottuk, sajnos éjszaka is akár. Illetve egy szúnyogháló mindenképp jól jönne az ablakokra, erkélyajtóra.
• Valerija (10/5): Everything was great - Perfect stay in Catania.It’s like 7 minutes walk to the centre and also on 5 minutes there is a lidl supermarket. Ivan is a great host also,they helped with everything check in and also provide leave our luggage in the room after check out. Thanks a lot again
