- Pierre (8/5): Very good - Clean and quiet place! Everything you need for overnight stay!
- Ronel (3/5): Poor - Main house dog barking non stop cockroach in kitchen they need to change bed mattress very hard and uncomfortable no garden to relax in I went for peace and relaxing witch did not happen with dog barking non stop at night very disappointed ☹️
- Paul (3/5): Adequate for one night layovers. - Theres not much to say about the property that I liked. The place was clean. The kitchen was new. So that was a plus. Except for a silly niggly thing, viz. the kitchen sink had no plug. (So I could not wash dishes properly.)
They had WiFi. Again, a plus. And a huge TV. Which I did not turn on. The Shower:
The worst was that i had to have cold showers. For 5 days. The water temperature never went above remotely tepid. And because there was no way of contacting the host, I could not advise. I tried contacting them through booking.com but to no avail. (Key collection was through a whatsapp message to find the key in a lock box surreptitiously hidden away. )
The Bed:
The beds are rock hard with terrible mattresses. The pillows were massive rock solid HUGE things that were increbildy uncomfortable. The comforter on the bed was too thin for our winter weather and the extra blanket was a fleece blanket that was also not adequate. Luckily I was alone, allowing me to use both single bed's blankets on my bed. And to top all of this off, and probably the most annnoiying thing: the sheet was a polyester thing that clung to me with static aplomb. There were also no headboards on the bed. So lying in the bed and reading one has to prop oneself up agains a rough brick wall. A headboard would be just so much better.
Lighting:
They place only had a main light switch, no bedside lamps. Which in iteself isn't really a problem, but, what would it have taken to supply a bedside lamp?
Vehicle access:
Parking was inside but the space was terribly limited. A large car will not fit in there. Luckily I had a tiny car.
The gate to the property was via a padlock that made entry and egress a pain.
Animals:
They property to which this single garage was adjoined, had dogs, and they barked a lot. Bringing pets there would not be a good idea.
