- Alexis (10/5): Quick but relaxing stay - It was a cute older home with charm. The beds were comfy. The setup worked perfectly for my child, mom and me. My kid loved it here. Location was close to what we were doing so perfect for us. Everything was very pleasant.
- Amandine (9/5): Great house with everything you need! - Great house well furnished! We loved the board games provided, the rooms were big and had super comfy beds! Host was super reactive and friendly. Overall, we loved our stay there! It was a bit cold even with the heat on, but that's just the winter season. There were blankets provided, so we managed :)
- Megan (9/5): Redstick Cottage was a great experience and exceeded my expectations! - I loved everything about my stay at Redstick Cottage and Gia was a wonderful host! The house was lovely, cute, comfy, and clean and it was in a convenient location to downtown Baton Rouge and the LSU campus. Every place I wanted to visit was a short drive or Uber away.
As a solo female traveler, I liked that the neighborhood was quiet and in a safe location. I greatly appreciated the safety measures at the house (a code to get in, ring doorbell, etc) and that there was street parking close to the front door. It was the attention to detail that really made my stay here wonderful. The house was clean and fully stocked with essentials. I loved that were extra toiletries in case I forgot to pack something. I wish I could keep this place as my little secret but Redstick Cottage deserves all the praise. The next time I am in Baton Rouge I will be sure to stay here and I will recommend it to all my friends/ family!!! I loved my stay here but if I was forced to think of some constructive criticisms I would say I wished there was a hair dryer in the bathroom to use when getting ready because I forgot to pack one. Also I would have preferred single use coffee creamers instead of the powder coffee creamer ( but that’s only because I am a coffee creamer snob).
