• Julián (10/5): Authentic Unforgettable Experience! - Our recent stay at Hotel Pielinen was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Andrei greeted us with genuine warmth and took the time to personally show us the property and its various amenities. We were traveling with a toddler, and we were delighted to find that the hotel is exceptionally family-friendly. The children’s playroom was thoughtfully designed, and the outdoor surroundings provided a safe and beautiful space for little ones to explore. For adults, the hotel offers an impressive range of facilities. The indoor pool and sauna were immaculate and relaxing, and the leisure areas — including billiards, darts, and a well-equipped gym — made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast each morning exceeded our expectations, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to our taste Nothing... We loved all our experience in this lovely place 😁
• Martti (10/5): - Henkilökunta ystävällinen. Monipuolinen ja runsas aamiainen. Sauna hyvä myös uima-allas ok. Tilat siistit, rauhallinen ympäristö. Sijainti hiven syrjässä.
• Maria-Sofia (10/5): Viihdyttiin. - Henkilökunta todella joustavaa ja ystävällistä. Lapsille oli tekemistä mm runsas leikkihuone. Paikka on kaunis, mutta onhan sieltä matkaa esim ruokakauppaan.

• Kati (10/5): Jos haluaa rauhallisen paikan jossa sielu lepää niin täällä se on. - Todella ystävällinen omistaja perhe. Huone oli uusittu ja siisti. Hyvät sängyt. Lämmittivät saunan tälle pariskunnalle haluamaamme aikaan. Aamupala oli hyvä ja paistoivat lettujakin aamupalalle. Jääkaapit ja kahvinkeitto mahdollisuus oli alakerran ruokasalin vieressä. Hyvä näin. Kiva pelisali. Sopisi hyvin erilaisten leirien yms. Pitoon. Hyvät marjametsät ympärillä. Ei ole järvenrannalla, mutta pienen kävelymatkan päässä on veneranta. Uimarantakin löytyy kuulema n. 5 min ajomatkan päästä. Pieni baari olisi ollut poikaa jotta olisi voinut tukea toimintaa silläkin tavalla.
• Jonna (9/5): - Huoneet erittäin siistejä jossa hyvä nukkua. Yleiset tilat aulassa kodikkaat. Alakerrassa olisi ollut pelejä, sauna uima-altaalla. Tultiin väsyneenä myöhään illalla, mentiin suoraan nukkumaan. Omistaja hyvin ystävällinen.
• Olga_Italy (10/5): A place of bliss - The hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful lakeside environment, surrounded by birch trees and meadows. The building is a bit old but very, very well kept and mainained. The interiors are wide, essentially but neatly decorated, and there are plenty of leisure services (sauna, pool, gym, table tennis...). The exteriors are also neat, wide, and full of extras (playground, soccer field, etc). From the perfectly kept garden we could enjoy a spectacular aurora borealis!!! The family room was comfy and functonal. Everything in the property is super clean (far, far above the finnish average...) and neatly kept, also the garden. The owner is as welcoming and friendly as possible, always ready to give suggestions on the surroundings. The buffet dinner and breakfast are served in a beautiful wide room, and the food is simple and excellent. Prices are vary fair. It was a pity to stay only 1 night: will come again if possible!!!

What truly made my stay special was the owner's recommendation of a hidden gem beach nearby, which was blissfully secluded, and the delicious vegetarian dinner cooked upon request. Also If you're planning to visit Koli National Park, I highly recommend Hotel Pellikan for a peaceful and exceptional stay."

• Tuija (9/5): Tuija - Erittäin siisti yleisilme. Huone tilava, siisti ja remontoitu. Kylpyhuone vanha, mutta erittäin siisti. Aamiainen maukas ja riittävä. Isäntä todella ystävällinen ja palvelualtis. Harrastetiloissa mm. bingispöytä ja kuntoiluhuone. Sijainti syrjäinen ja huonokuntoisen tien varrella.

• Anna (10/5): - Świetny hotel w lesie, cisza i spokój. Przemiły gospodarz, podpowiadał nam co zobaczyć w okolicy. Dobre śniadanie. Do Koli godzina jazdy samochodem. Nie wiem czemu ludzie piszą o złej drodze dojazdowej - jest miejscami szutrowa, ale nie ma dramatu. Codziennie sauna za darmo. Prysznic oferował niezapomniane doznania, bo woda lała sie po całej lazience ale na szczęście była szczotka do zbierania wody więc nie ma problemu.

• Päivi (8/5): Very pleasant stay at an oasis in the wilderness - The hotel was as advertised in the wilderness. The activity possibilities were really good. Unfortunately we arrived so late that we couldn’t have a chance to go swimming or take a match of various games. Looking forward to that when visiting next time. Very good coffee at the breakfast and also good selection of food. Some parts are a bit dated, but overall it’s in a very good condition and pristine clean.
• Perreau (10/5): Incredible - Everything was nice and soft. Good bed and well managed by someone who know the surroundings. Give us advices about what to do in the lake region and it was a very nice idea !
• Inaki (9/5): Perfect, beautiful and quiet in the nature! - The staff is really nice and professional, really helpful. The location (between 2 national parks) is also awesome. We had dinner in the place and it was also great. Overall great value for money! Everything was great!

• Adit (9/5): A nice and decent hotel in the middle of nowhere!! - - The hotel location was very secluded, in the middle of a forest and out of nowhere. Don't expect to find local stores/shops, cafes/restaurants or gas stations within 5 km. The nearest one was Lieksa town about 30km from the hotel. - The exterior was old as well as the interior. Nonetheless, it looks like the owner has tried slowly to renew everything to make a good impression on his guests. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the TV worked as it should. The cleanliness was also superb. - The owner greeted his guests and was very helpful in giving information about the surrounding area. - The hotel has facilities to do activities indoors or outdoors. They also have a sauna and swimming pool to use. - No bidet in the bathroom - Some of the road access was gravel without asphalt. It was not the hotel's fault but it needed attention from the local rulers. - No blackout curtain (I think it is quite essential during summertime).

• Laura (9/5): weekend trip to Koli - Lovely staff, really friendly. The room was cozy & spacious, the balcony was a nice surprise. The bathroom served its purpose. Beautiful location, peaceful, quiet area with a large yard & a kota building. Breakfast & dinner were good. It was also a lovely surprise that there's a sauna & a pool, which I got to use all by myself (by luck? :D) which felt luxurious. Slightly remote, & the road wasn't in bestest of conditions (that's not a fault with the hotel, just something to note).
• Toni (10/5): Koli - Nice and quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite sufficient. The hotel's location is great for hikers, Kolini, Patvinsuo and Ruunaa national parks are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. After a day's hiking, a warm sauna awaited us. There is a barbecue hut in the yard, where a larger meal is also prepared.

• Sandra_n (8/5): Older hotel in a quiet location surrounded by nature - The receptionist was very helpful and nice. The room was very spacious, clean and quite nice. The hotel is located in a quiet location. We really liked the room with air hockey, billiards and similar games. The breakfast was also okay. There were also plenty of parking spaces. The access road to the hotel is a little worse. The hotel looks older, but it has its charm. Breakfast was a buffet and there was not a big selection, but you could choose something.
• Superpep (8/5): Very good - Small and comfortable hotel. Very attentive staff and always willing to help you with recommendations on where to go. Buffet breakfasts and dinners. Its location allows you to visit the national parks of Koli and Patvinsuo.
