• den Hartog (10/5): Loved it - We took a NonAC 2-person bedroom and it was clean and the windows had mosquito screens so that was nice for ventilating the hot afternoon heat away in the evening. Besides that the staff was incredible, we had some uncertainty with our next booking and they were very very very helpful and thoughtful in the proces. They were also very nice to talk with, nice energy. Actually nothing really

• Hasti (6/5): Pleasant - The property is in a quiet area , it is a nice building and is clean, having hot water shower. Kalpetta is a nice town, people are friendly and happy to communicate in good English, there are bakery shops all along the main road and places to eat , the bus station is in walking distance The room was large enough as a single room and was clean but unfortunately the window was obscured by a metal banner fixed in front of window so the room had no natural light and no view. There was only one sort of breakfast to order ( toast and omelet) which has to be eaten in room or the communal corridor. The manager made me to fill in the form for the government instead of like anywhere else I stayed in India being done by the manager . This took me a long time and was frustrating . I also asked for the possibility for visiting the Wayanad mentioning the cave, waterfall and the lake etc and manager arranged for a local travel agent to arrive next day. However the travel agent came up with a price much higher than the hotel manger had indicated saying ,for “your country there are different prices”. I was asked to pay 30 rupees for each Kilometer and considering the long distances between the places I wanted to see it came easily to 100 km after the third location . Although I booked the room for 3 nights I left after the second night to my next destination as didn’t feel happy with the above treatment.

• Rajkumar (9/5): Great residency for everyone - The rooms are really very nice and comfortable. Staff are very polite. The room we booked for 6 person and it has personal balcony which we really liked it. The residency is within the city just 300m from main road and everything available nearby. The residency is little interior from the main road (300m) with small pathway. But the residency is really great. In Wayanad all the attractions are little far(from 15km-60km). So plan your places of visit in advance.

• Antoine (9/5): Great budget hotel that accepts foreigners - Nice budget hotel in Kalpetta. Close to the main street, the restaurants and the bus station, yet in a quiet area. The room was clean and comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a very good value for money, especially considering how many other hotels in Kalpetta refuse foreigners...

The Residency located in Kalpetta town, so every thing is easy to access. I suggest family must stay stay here. It's safe and secure.
