• ROSLYN (10/5): - We felt privileged to stay at Beachfront Haven Town House for 2 nights. The property was "as new". The location was perfect... looking out at the pier. We visited the Christchurch Gondola and Lyttleton... only a short drive away. Also the atmosphere and history of New Brighton area was very interesting. It was a lovely property .

• angela (8/5): All in all the accomodation was excellent I would love to see the area in summer. - The location. The view and closeness to the beach. Right across the road. The warmth and comfort and cleanliness. Overall the property was well appointed and a bit luxurious. I would stay there again No information about local activities or food shopping outlets. no instructions on how to use appliances especially the washer combo dryer. We had one hot day and the decking was too hot to walk on with bare feet. I think the living area would be tight for 4 adults especially dining.

• Donald (9/5): Absolutely fantastic 👍 - Very modern and beautifully furnished. Had everything we needed to enjoy a fabulous 2 days in Christchurch. The area is obviously being renovated and there were very few options for eating and drinking within walking distance.
• Sm (6/5): OK - n/a No mirrors, other than bathroom cabinet. Full length mirror would have been good. Heater in bathroom not working, there was a note saying not to use, if someone took the time to write the note, perhaps it could have been fixed instead. Windows need cleaning, no point to a sea view if you can't see it. No off street parting, as advertised - just pot luck on street parking. Cleaning - a bit average
• Daniel (7/5): Nice spot - dodgy area - Very clean modern apartment looking over the beach. The area was described as "up and coming" which is probably true. The problem is the starting point was VERY low. Plumbing issues in upstairs shower and washer dryer best avoided.

There was no washing powder for the washing machine.

• Phillip (10/5): The location, value, and rooms itself. Absolute amazing location. - The location was amazing. The building itself was perfect. Very comfortable. The toilet was exceptional. The fragrance on the bed linen, although smelt amazing, the wifes allergies had a skin reaction from the strong scent. Wouldn't affect most people. My wife has very sensitive skin. Just a thought for people with sensitive skin.

• Mackay (9/5): Superb - The townhouse had fabulous views. It was so new ,,modern and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The modern stove was difficult to work...some more detailed instructions would have been handy. However with help from management we got it working.

• Hayley (5/5): When we reached out to management about the issues the response was “I have been in touch with the cleaner and she has - The location was great. 2 minute walk to beach, 5 minute walk to a supermarket etc. furniture was comfortable and the property was warm and cosy The cleanliness. The bins were filthy and had someone else’s scraps. The single beds downstairs had dirty sheets (hair and debris inside the top and bottom sheets) - I ended up having to shake out the sheets and remake beds before being able to use them. The body wash supplied was empty in downstairs bathroom. The milk provided had expired a week ago. Given the price paid this is unacceptable.

The view was beautiful and the apartment very comfortable. Our flight had been delayed so it was dark and trying to work out which apartment was ours was a little tricky.

• Karina (7/5): Comfortable - Nice location. Walking distance from the pier. Firstly the host gave us a wrong code for key retrieval. We were waiting outside for 30 minutes. We kept calling the number and after a long wait they gave us the correct code. The property is laid out on 3 different levels and we had to carry our luggage up the flight of stairs. One bedroom at ground level with a bathroom. Upstairs was a living room and kitchen. Again up one flight was the second bedroom. No luggage racks

• George (10/5): Excellent location, excellent property. Lovely New Brighton townhouse - Really neat property very nicely appointed and new. Excellent location right by the beach with views to match. Very friendly property management too. If on street parking is going to be an issue then be aware there is no other option. We had a park directly outside the property however and didn’t find this a problem.

• Martin (10/5): City stay by the beach with a smile on my face, hooray - Ease of communication, access and property layout. The colourful residents breaking the law outside the accommodation. I needed to seek assistance from boys in blue, however all ended well, no issue. More entertainment really at 2am ...

• Jade (10/5): Amazing accomodation at New Brighton Beach. - Easy contactless check in and close proximity to the beach. Everything was there that we needed and the washer/drier allowed us to get some washing done which was so convenient.
