Gurken und Tomaten auf Margarine Brot, das war's. Keine pflanzliche Milch, keinen Humus oder sonstigen Aufstrich. Hier wäre etwas mehr Auswahl in der heutigen Zeit für das viele Geld sehr wünschenswert. Generell war es für uns Österreicher sehr teuer aber dafür kann das Hotel nix.

• Cristiano (10/5): Perfekt für Ausflüge in der Region (Thurgau) und in angrenzenden Kantonen - Die Dame am Empfang war stets freundlich. Check-In und Check-out verliefen reibungslos und alles wurde bestens erklärt. Auf meine Zimmerwünsche ging man ein, was ich sehr schätzte. Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett sehr komfortabel und im Badezimmer hatten wir alles, was man benötigt. Die Position fand ich für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt, weil das Hotel leicht zu erreichen war. Vor allem man hat in der Umgebung alles, was man brauchen könnte. Zudem gibt es wenige Meter weiter eine sehr gute Bäckerei/Café. Obwohl die Hauptstraße nah liegt, ist es im Gebäude sehr ruhig dank der guten Isolation. Die Wifi Verbindung funktionierte sehr gut. Wir schätzten auch das frische Frühstück und der Nachfrage, ob wir damit genug hatten oder irgendwas anderes wünschten. Beim Frühstück vermisste ich etwas an Backwaren (abgesehen vom Brot das gab es reichlich). Es gab nur leere Gipfeli (kein Pain Au Chocolat, keine gefüllten Backwaren, wie mini Berliner oder Ähnliches, keine Kekse und überhaupt kein Gebäck) all Dinge welche in vielen 4-Sterne Häuser angeboten werden. Ein paar süsse Optionen würden Sinn machen und das Angebot aufrunden. Beim Duschen dauerte es etwa lang bis das warme Wasser kam und die Umstellung der Temperatur dauerte generell zu lang, etwas, was ich in längerer Zeit nicht mehr (in Hotels) gehabt hatte.
• Cadamuro (6/5): - camera confortevole, pulizia ottima, buona insonorizzazione, Colazione obbligata, scarsa per due persone in quanto portata al tavolo già pronta, nessun buffet a disposizione per scegliere le pietanze. Non è stata rassettata la camera, non erano presenti prodotti da bagno quado risultavano nel sito di pubblicità.

• Andreas Feldevert (8/5): Business-Hotel mit auffallend höflichem Personal. - Dieses Hotel liegt zentral im kleinen Ort Münchvilen. Das von mir gebuchte Superior-Zimmer war völlig tadellos und ruhig. Einen Supermarkt und einige Restaurants können zu Fuß gut erreicht werden. Kostenloses Parkplätze sind am Hotel verfügbar. Das schweizerische Frühstück im Hotel war prima.

• David (7/5): The renovated hotel is good but lacks the charm and warmth it once had. - Comfortable rooms, good location, pleasant staff. I am biased because I stayed there often before the new ownership and renovation and I miss many things about the former hotel. The atmosphere is now modern, contemporary rather than warm and cozy, the breakfast is variety a fraction of what it was, I saw no sign indication of a dinner menu that used to exist on a chalk board. In essence running it like a business feels like the priority and I understand that, but miss the old Hotel Münchwilen.

Several english TV channels. Bottled water wasn't available in the room. Evening catering would have been better than needing to travel to a restaurant.
