- Jennylward (10/5): Beautiful holiday home - Beautiful little cottage, very homely, clean and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Thankyou Simon & Lauren x There was nothing we didn't like.
- Kate (10/5): - Couldn’t fault it was excellent
- Dawn (7/5): Lovely stay, enjoyed it, relaxing - Spacious and in a quiet area. I wish they had a better area to let dogs out, their isn’t a safe back garden but also at the front garden the gate isn’t safe, my dog could fit through the gaps on the gate.
- Nathan (10/5): Would recommend - Fellside Cottage was wonderful to stay in. A cosy, tidy, tasteful cottage in a fantastic location to reach all of the Eastern Lakes, and many of the attractions around Penrith and Kendal.
- Michael (9/5): Home from home lovely location. - The cottage was cosy and good location.loved the log fire.dishwasher.smart tv. I'm a cleaner and I obviously have high standards. The cottage didn't meet mine.
Didn't like no washing machine.
- Nicki (9/5): - Clean and warm Small upstairs
- Sharon (8/5): Lovely Character Cottage - Lovely little character cottage.
Village has good facilities for getting supplies, eating out, and even a chippy.
Good location for travelling about. A starter pack for the wood stove would have been nice, so be prepared to bring your own.
Back patio door needs attention, won't shut unless you close and left the handle right up.

- Tina (10/5): Beautiful,, peaceful home from home. - Easy to find, with clear instructions from host, cosy, quiet, good location to visit so many great places. Super clean and everything we needed, so comfortable like a home from home, definitely plan to stay again. We loved this beautiful house, even through Storm Amy, it felt safe and cosy. Nothing, the place was perfect for us and the dog. Only trouble I had was finding the public footpath that is out the back of the property, so if you aren't sure its right down the track, but a friendly neighbour pointed me in the right direction.
- Colin (7/5): - Heating. Once sentence instruction to use the google thingy: it did not work. Worked out well had to go to the boiler cupboard and press the white button. Google thingy would only work on Manual - and could not change the temperature. Tried going to auto but the heater turns off. Confused…

- Claire (7/5): Good - Very tranquil and quiet. Property needs some tlc especially downstairs.
Paint peeling off.
- Susan (10/5): Lovely place to stay get away from it all - Location brilliant for dog walks it’s like a home from home Not being able to get booked in again
- Dawn (8/5): Very good -
- T (6/5): Pleasant -
- Greg (8/5): Overall good, enjoyed it - Location was great, great views Some parts of the cottage need some tlc, thought things could be a little cleaner
Shower was temperamental but understand it's an old cottage
No high chair available, although it does state on the facilities. But again understand maybe a new one will be getting purchased as other was faulty
- Emma (10/5): 3 Night Stay - Fellside cottage was in a perfect location for us to be able to explore the Lake District.
The host was friendly and responsive and helped provide us with recommendations in the area.
The beds and sofa were comfortable and perfect for me, my partner, 3 year old and dog.
The property was clean and very cosy (especially with the log burner on!) The shower could of been slightly more powerful, but apart from that nothing to complain about
- John (6/5): Loved this place but be ready to strip your own bedding etc - Loved this cosy little place, bed was very comfy, nice area around. Was very happy with the house. Kitchen had everything you could want. There wasn't a nights worth of courtesy wood left so make sure you bring your own. Didn't like being asked to strip the bedding... or take the rubbish out to the outside bin or the long list of chores they asked us to do, especially in the morning, while getting showered, packed and out before an 8-hour drive home.
I dont mind doing it, and it didn't really take long, but I think if you're renting anywhere with a bed, you should know you're changing the bedding. Just felt a bit rude to ask a paying customer to do that.
- Eleanor (10/5): Exceptional - Warm & cosy, spotless - genuinely dog friendly. Perfect base for the walks we had planned - lovely to come back to after miles in the fells. Nothing not to like!
- Rikki (9/5): Superb -
- Sion (10/5): Very cosy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. - It was a lovely cosy cottage, location was nice. Perfect size for me, my partner & our dog.
- Andrew (10/5): Great stay at a lovely cottage - Great location. Easy to get to from the motorway. Some great local walking to be had and an easy trip into Keswick. Had everything we needed for our stay. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable beds. Really enjoyed our stay.
- Fraser (9/5): Superb - More remote than I thought it would be, and the weather was terrible.
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): 4 lovely days at Felllside - Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and clean on arrival. Particularly enjoyed the fire although it's been a mild October! Would stay here again. My puppy (11 months) enjoyed her stay too 😄 and the local pub Greyhound served a good choice of meals. Local shop short walk from cottage. Nothing
- Scott (10/5): Great cottage - Nice cottage in lovely location peaceful and quiet and handy for local walks in the peak district good location to be near local hotel which has good range of beers and nice food nothing everything was cool
- Lesley (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (7/5): Good - Very cosy and good location for dog walking :) Very quiet area and peaceful for a nice relaxing trip Needed to be a little cleaner. We understand its dog friendly but when sitting on the sofa we got covered in small white dog hair. Our dog is black and barely molts, but even she was getting covered in some of the same hairs when moving around the cottage.
- Susan (10/5): Feels like a home from home - Location most of all cleanliness facilities good quality bedding and pillows also it’s dog friendly big bonus
- Julie (8/5): Enjoyed every minute, friendly neighbourhood. - A cosy cottage, well located for sightseeing. No washing machine.
- David (10/5): Very comfortable cottage, clean with everything we needed - Lovely little cottage with great wifi the cottage is in great location for traveling to Penrith, Pooley bridge, Hawewater and lots more! Great walks from the cottage and lovely local pubs!
