- Luke (7/5): - Location to Park & Town, easy to walk from.
Bottle of wine & jerky was a nice touch. Aircon only in lounge and ceiling fans in bedroom, did not provide enough cooling on hot days at night. TV only in lounge room. Location on a very busy road and could hear pedestrian & car noises all night. Dog friendly only outside and at back of property which was very warm on hot days. Lacking in some blinds at rear of property which made the back area feel not as private.
- Emma (10/5): - House was beautiful, very spacious, nicely renovated. Owners were fantastic to deal with even posting airpods back to us after we left them there!
- Yvonne (10/5): Really great stay with all we needed highly recommended. - Great sofa so comfy, kitchen well appointed, back balcony was lovely sitting out there in the sun, off street parking was also a winner, BBQ for the win. Morris our dog was also welcome xx Loved everything about our stay.
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Elaine (9/5): Excellent venue for our 3 days with grandkids. Swimming pool nearby and other attractions. - The location and facilities and little extras of this house were exceptional. Very clean and charming house. We did stay in very hot weather (40 + degrees for 3 days) and found that the back bedroom stayed hot. Otherwise the rest of the house was very comfortable temp all day. Tom provided welcome items inc wine , homegrown plums, kids games, kitchen papers and basic ingredients. The back bedroom can become quite hot over a series of hot days. There is traffic along the road but we slept well.
- Alyssa (9/5): Perfect for our Bendigo weekend. - Barnard Bungalow was absolutely gorgeous. Generous in size and very clean. Perfect yard to keep our dog happy the small amount of time we were home. The owners were extremely responsive and left some lovely welcome touches, fruit, red wine, chocolates and jerky as well as basics like milk and coffee which was very much appreciated. The property itself was perfect, the only feedback would be that the road it is on is quite noisy over night.
- Sarah (9/5): Very comfortable and a great place to stay, highly recommend - The property was extremely clean and comfortable with plenty of room, a beautiful house. On a main road but wasn’t really an issue
- Gray (10/5): Memories for a lifetime. - Arrived to a aesthetic clean inviting space, great parking for family with 2 vehicles. Beautiful appointed furniture to relax and contemplate life. Fridge with the most delicious cherries. Our adult children had area's they could use as there own. Every thing that you would like in your own home was available and well presented. There was nothing to dislike, the hardest thing was getting used to the floor boards bouncing you along which is really old world, but it reminded us of my grandparents home in long gully.
- mitchell (9/5): - Very clean good location On a busy road
- Alan (8/5): Comfortable spacious suit many guests - Location, spacious, free video streaming , welcome wine & snacks, off street undercover parking

- Laura (8/5): Well appointed good home - Very well appointed, well set up with everything you need. A good space, almost perfect for what we needed. A nice garden, carport, good amenities. Squeaky floors and the back room was a bit cold. Very loud traffic as located on busy street.
- Kosloff (10/5): - Great communication. Already booked another stay
- Barbara (10/5): Great communication. Beautiful old house with modern amenities. Very comfortable. And easy access for the elderly. - It had everything you need. Squeaky floors.
- Nicole (9/5): Peaceful location considering youre nearly in the city centre . Highly recommend, lovely place to stay . - Loved the accomodation, clean , comfortable and had all the amenities needed . Highly recommend. Just watch out for the pole outside the driveway when backing out as it is a blind spot .
- Tanya (10/5): Great place to stay, close to everything, very clean and everything you need is there - great house good size, very clean and perfect location nothing
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Everything was clean and tidy and the heating was great. It is well located so we could walk everywhere we wanted The road traffic during the night was something we weren't used to, so some earplugs solved that issue
Also an electric blanket would have been great as the weather was very cold.
Still the beds were very comfy
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Great location, cosy and comfortable house Heating took a while to get sorted, but was ok once we got settled. May need a bit more instruction for guests.
- Smith (8/5): It was a lovely vintage type house which I love. Lovely spacious first 2 bedrooms, heating was good. - Loved the old style house since there aren't many around now. Could have had blinds to keep the warmth in the lounge room on cold nights
- Robyn (8/5): Excellent , would recommend it. - It was lovely. Had everything we could possibly need, and was in walking distance from the art precinct. It’s situated on a very busy and noisy road.
- Zoanne (9/5): Superb - Central location for us to walk in and around Bendigo
- Robert (10/5): A beautiful old house with modern facilities and so much charm, it was a pleasure staying there. - Everything, it was so beautiful , great location, great facilities and so much charm. Nothing , everything was perfect
- Julie (9/5): Comfortable. - Great shower pressure, heating and cooking facilities. Cute renovation. Close to hospice care.
- Kerrie (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely house in a fantastic location for walking to Ulumburra.
- Kerry (10/5): My stay at this property was comfortable, I felt safe. - The lock box code was messaged to me the day before our stay. It was very quick and easy to enter the property.
- Mardi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joy (9/5): Lovely old cottage , very central , quick response from owner - Lock box outside front door, ideal accommodation for a family group, welcome goodies were excellent NA
- Janielle (9/5): Fantastic heritage home in the centre of town - Fantastic well appointed home in central Bendigo with onsite easy parking. Walkable to all major attractions and very comfortable and homely. Lovely back verandah for warmer days and a small but maintained yard. Small things like a bottle of wine and some snacks on arrival. The hosts were communicative. We had a small issue after our stay which was a missed communication between ourselves and the hosts. When we made the booking we included our two dogs on the booking, one of whom is a service dog. We were not aware that the pets were not permitted in the house at all and the hosts were unaware that we were travelling with animals, so not sure what happened. The yard does not have a kennel or enclosed area for your dogs and smaller dogs would be able to escape under the front gate so if you are travelling with spoilt pets this may not be the best option for you.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful period home Nothing
- Michelle (10/5): Great value for money. Super clean. Great location. - Great location. Super clean and very responsive hosts. Will stay again. Nothing

- Alexis (10/5): We would definitely return to Barnard bungalow. Such a gorgeous cottage with very lovely hosts. Loved everything about o - We loved the location as we wanted to walk everywhere. It was a 1k walk to town centre and lots of great cafes close by. We love the cottage as well, very spacious and lovely interior with good quality appliances. It took us a few nights to get used to the traffic but after that we didn’t notice it.
- Haven (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything about this property, the style, the space, the yard and facilities all exceeded my expectations. I was able to bring my service dog Django and he was right at home. The only down side is being on a main road so it can be slightly noisy but in no way negatively affected my stay
- Ann-maree (10/5): Great experience, wonderful location. Felt very welcomed. - Plenty of room, fantastic beds, very clean. Felt very comfortable and at home. Bathroom great and helped having 2 toilets.
Had a wonderful feel about it, therefore could relax and enjoy. Nothing, perhaps a rail at one toilet.
- Alana (9/5): Great home away from home - We loved the location, great renovation, good facilities for kids (the toys were a welcome bonus), great air conditioning & fans Nothing
- Sally (10/5): perfect cosy accommodation - Was very beautiful and central to everything
- Jennifer (10/5): A great escape , located centrally with comfortable accomadation - Pristine , good position ,welcome supplies, well supplied with basic cleaning items etc, range of bedding covers on hand , secure for dog.everything clean& working , off street parking ,good heat&cooling, good communication Not much
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - very clean, comfortable and a convenient location
- Candace (10/5): Beautiful Bungalow - The layout of the rooms, atmosphere, facilities and extras (basics you forget on holiday- salt and pepper, milk in the fridge, coffee and tea etc) were absolutely fantastic.
The owners were responsive to messages and allowed early check in and updated our booking with very short notice (luckily they had the availability), and even went to the effort of getting the room ready as soon as they could so our family could check in.
The location was fantastic. Couldn't get better.
We travelled with 3 young kids and they loved:
The bath and shower
The provided toys and games
The acoustics 😆 Because it was a historical house there can be a draught, but honestly once we popped the central heating on it was not noticeable.
- Jacqui (9/5): Fantastic place - spacious and comfortable. Would be happy to return! - All the little extra things that were provided, and how well equipped the place was. Thankyou so much I wasn’t really use to as much traffic noise at night
- Donna (10/5): Beautiful property. - The place was stunning. So beautifully renovated. The beds were comfortable, the heatng efficient and it was an excellent location for exploring Bendigo. The garden was secure for the dog. It was all amazing!
- Alannah (8/5): Great location, especially for someone working at or visiting the hospital. - Easy to find and accessible.
- Moragh (7/5): Good - The house was lovely with great facilities and a beautiful bath. The house was very drafty and cold and there were no spare blankets.we had the heater up high, but the heat was very drying and just disappeared through the cracks.
