• Diane (10/5): Most enjoyable and I would definitely return - The owners were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation more than met with my expectations and was very comfortable. The property is only a few minutes from central New Plymouth and it was very easy to get around to all locations. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay again. With windows open there is a bit of traffic noise from large trucks but it didn't bother me really, and I just closed the windows at night.

The only factor slightly spoiling the perfection was the road noise which was inevitable given the proximity to the marine port facility and the trucks used for carrying the goods

It has everything you need and the lovely owners are friendly, helpful and made me feel completely at home. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this place. Book with confidence. Nothing.

Room v tidy with good amenities TV in weird space to couch, couch should be further along the wall with table by window, so couch is in front of t I found bed and couch too soft, hurt my back Heat pump remote should be on top of table, couldn't find it for ages Shower door was weird, could not step onto bathmat cause door dragged it away when opened

• Peripatetic (9/5): If I need to stay in New Plymouth again, I will definitely return here. - I travel a lot and this was one of the nicest private apartments that I have seen. The facilities are really comprehensive and it is clear that the hosts have thought carefully about all of the inclusions. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is a good size, and the shower is excellent. The curtains block light well and the place is very quiet, so I slept really well on all four nights. The TV is small and positioned on a wall which makes it awkward to watch from either the bed or the sofa. When I first arrived, I had difficulty accessing the property. This was probably my fault because, once you realise that you need a slide the gate to enter, it's easy.

• Lara (10/5): The place was brilliant. Spotless, clean and had everything I needed. The full laundry was a bonus - I arrived late and the lights were on, key in the door and heatpump on!
• Ben (9/5): Perfect place to stay when travelling to New Plymouth - ideal for singles or couples - Nice prompt communication in the morning for the code of the lockbox. No issues when getting the key, and the instructions were on par for where I could find the location of the Lockbox. The location wasn't as central as I had hoped, however there was a nearby beach, takeaway shop and easy parking. The road was also quite busy - resulting in a bit of traffic noise in the room. But can't fault the property for that - just a matter of it being a busy road.
• Adlem (10/5): Best place ever! - Loved everything about this place. -close to the beach -cosy -very clean -very tidy -very upmarket -very well layed out -first place I ever visited with a full laundry in the room! Excellent. -the finishings are upmarket and stylish -cottage, homely feel to it. -very private Everything was excellent here. I had a hard day's work and had blisters on my feet. I thought to myself there is probably no chance of finding plasters....well they had a box of plasters in the bathroom... Brilliant. These small gestures is what makes a stay worth while. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place. I will definitely be back!
