- Stephanie (9/5): - Thorough instructions from the host on how to locate property. Good spaced accommodation which is well maintained. Would highly recommend especially for a family. Google maps led me to the middle of Princes street based off the postcode but was able to figure it out with the help of the video the host kindly provided.
- Beverley (10/5): Well equipped, comfortable, clean apartment with large comfortable beds - The apartment was of a high standard, comfortable, clean and very spacious. Lovely area. My two sons walked for two hours early morning as lovely walking areas and historical areas nearby. We would certainly like to visit apartment again. Everything we needed was in apartment, very well equipped, and real coffee too.. Had lots of interference on TV but was most likely the weather. Both gates to property where you enter was awkward. One where we entered had bins behind but then realised this gate wouldnt close.
- John (4/5): Below average - Location Communication to enter property was fine but the green gate would not open by the supplied code, followed the instructions to the blue gate which was not closed but jammed by a bin which I had to wrestle the door enough to be able to shove the bin on the ground and keep shoving till we could enter
Opening the back door was disappointing as the place smelled damp and musty and was not cleaned properly. The kitchen furniture is stained, cobwebs and dust we stayed one night and left
Emma offered to redo the clean but no it was not satisfactory
- Pete (8/5): Nice stay close to town centre. - We didn't use the Breakfast options but the Coffee was lovely. The wifi was good with a decent size TV. Lovely High Ceilings and big rooms, the beds were comfy and we didn't have any problem Parking 2 cars on Etherly Lane. The back gate was very stiff and took some opening but after we moved in, we just used the front door so it wasn't a problem.
- anthony (8/5): Overnight stay - Great staycation plenty of space for the four of us at the flat had everything we needed and the place was pre warmed so we were comfortable on arrival and good value overall. Nice little courtyard for a morning coffee.
Great communication from the host and clear instructions that could be followed. Everything was as described. No dislikes.
- Stef (1/5): Inhabitable until fixed. - Location was good, parking available outside the back door. Size of the property was good with all rooms having adequate space. Free view available. Washing machine, coffee grinder and percolator. Bath and a separate shower cubicle. The garden wasn't secure as a gate was broken. There was black mould in every room on the walls. Pink mould on the tap in the bathroom, every sealant was covered in mould. Decaying and crumbling walls, heavy staining on carpets and curtains. Rooms all stank of dust and mould so was uncomfortable to try and sleep or spend anytime in them. Dodgy patchwork around the electic sockets. Have photo evidence if anyone wants it. I'd avoid strongly especially if you have allergies or breathing problems. I've sent the owner an email and the photos directly and heard nothing back so looks like it's just a piggy bank for them and not interested in the customers. Mattress in one of the rooms had an indent in from it being used by someone regularly enough that it had their shape in it. The other mattress had an ill fitting topper and an even worse fitting sheet! Duvet cover wasn't the right size for the duvet.
- Yi (10/5): -
- Diane (9/5): Comfortable, clean, well equipped, great value -
- Lee (10/5): Amazing apartment and location - Very clean and tidy. Amazing size and perfect location. Definitely use again N/A
- Daniel (8/5): Lovely, spacious flat near the shops. - Very spacious, quiet and comfortable flat. Loved the big beds!
Coffee and lots of things to help make the stay better. Well being downstairs, you're going to hear footsteps from above. I guess it depends who is staying. Otherwise it's very quiet!
On description, it says access code will be given 24 hrs in advance when in reality it comes on the day.
- Linda (10/5): Great value - Excellent value for money, spacious, warm and comfortable in a quiet street
- Keith (10/5): Lovely apartment, great host, excellent value for money. - Location was great as I was working 6min drive away and only a 5min walk to the Wetherspoons 😁. Bed was comfy and spacious. The host Emma was was always contactable and very friendly. The kitchen has everything you need with added extras like tea coffee sugar etc. Shop close by to get milk. Would definetly stay here again next time in Bishop Auckland. I have no complaints.
- Feyisayo (10/5): - Regent Chambers is exceptional. The host kept in touch from the moment I made the booking and throughout our stay.
The rooms were very big ,bed very comfortable.
Kitchen and Laundry facilities was all good.
Accommodation is close to Morrisons store.
I will be coming back to Regent Chambers. Nothing.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Dănuț Florin (10/5): - Superb..
- HEATHER (8/5): Good property with only the heating as a problem. - Comfortable beds spacious rooms Excessive heat from the radiators of which only some were adjustable, which meant we had to open windows which flew wide open in the night.
- Rankin (10/5): -
- Justin (9/5): Great accommodation - Super flat - really great place to stay after a long journey.
- Gemma (10/5): -
- Lesley (10/5): - Everything was excellent. Would definitely stay again
- Paula (10/5): Relaxing - clean, comfortable - Was very comfortable, clean , and inviting. Was great for our long trip to Scotland.
It was lovely having the big table in the kitchen where everyone sat while we was cooking & chatting about the upcoming trip 😀.
A lovely cosy nights sleep 😴. Parking wasn't great but can not be helped when we had 2 cars and making sure we was mindful of the neighbours 💕
There was no travel cot that we had requested but wasn't no issue and i didn't want to bother anyone .
- Rhea-ann (9/5): - The place was very spacious, we had everything we need for cooking, the living area was very comfy and we loved the toilet as it was very clean, it has very large beds which are all comfortable to sleep in🥰 Everything was perfect except for one thing, the larger bedroom although it was very clean it somehow smelled of dogs and you can immediately smell it when you enter the room. I dont know if smell is coming from carpet (needs a deep clean then to remove smell)
- Boris (9/5): Parfait. - Appartement spacieux.
Literie confortable, y compris le canapé convertible.
Les vidéos pour l’accès sont très bien faites.
Excellent rapport qualité prix !
- Jackie (7/5): - Excellent location for our visit to Kynren.
- DW (10/5): - Spacious rooms. Emma even provided breakfast. Really appreciated. Great stay.
- Jennifer (8/5): -
- Pat (8/5): Comfortable stay in a spacious apartment. - Plenty of room, comfortable beds. Everything we needed Fan running continually in bathroom
- Borosurveyor (5/5): Booked this place for its accessibility but needs clarifying for other disabled users - Spacious - Nice area of Bishop Auckland - very light and airy house which has great potential Access with a wheelchair very difficult - Lounge seating had limitations as they were day beds - Couldn’t get in back door with wheelchair due to kitchen cupboards making entry too narrow, and front door had four steps and needed three people to lift the wheelchair in even though classified as accessible. Couldn’t have got into the property with two people.
Bedding was clean but unironed and very dishevelled Even though irons and an ironing board were in the bedroom.
- Carole (8/5): Kynren stay - The place was lovely nice big rooms nice big bed everything there that you would need and literally a couple of minute's drive for kynren which was the highlight of our holiday it was central for everything The noisy neighbours upstairs but as far as I know they have gone now I did speak to then owners and they sorted it quickly
- Paul (9/5): Great property - It was clean and tidy The gentleman upstairs was up and down the stairs most of the night which creaked and he had a bad cough which sounded like he was in the room .But the accommodation was fantastic highly recommend.
- Sally (7/5): Very nice for a little stop off on our way home - Lovely big property with plenty of space. Everything you need is provided. Nice quiet area with a private garden. The property was on the surface was clean. Bathroom, kitchen, beds & bedding etc were all clean. The cleaners have tried there best to clean up after previously messy people but it is need of a coat of paint & a little TLC
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - The host Emma was very helpful. The apartment was very roomy plenty of space for two couples. Beds were comfortable and spacious(super king size).Outside space was ideal for socialising. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and spacious with everything you need for a break away. Nothing everything was fantastic
- Allan (10/5): Comfortable property - The property is well located within easy walking distance from the centre.
Emma provided clear instructions for accessing the property and communication was clear and friendly. Nothing
- Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - Very large, clean, comfortable home and lovely inclosed garden.
Felt like home from home
Will definitely be back
- Henry (8/5): Very good - Reasonable accommodation, with most amenities supplied. Photos are kind to the property, a bit of TLC is needed here and there.
Reasonable value for money. Nice little courtyard in need of TLC. No particular things
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Large, ground floor residence. Lots of large rooms, and a generous kitchen/diner, with good equipment and excellent coffee! We used this stay to visit the Tyne transporter bridge (sadly out of action, but still magnificent) and 'Locomotion', the local branch of the national railway museum at Shildon.
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Very well equipped, spacious. Thorough information. Good location for Aukland Project.
- Mark (8/5): Nice - Huge 2 bedroom apartment with a well kitted out kitchen
- Artem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anni (5/5): Dark and dismal ground floor flat, would not stay here again. - The apartment was scruffy and not all that clean, worktops and kitchen floor were sticky !! duvets and mattress toppers were heavy and lumpy, I used a very thin turquoise/green towel (on one of the beds) that had obviously been used to dry a black dog as the other towels were drying on the radiators when we got there !! Cutlery and crockery needed washing before we could use it as cups were dirty, shower leaks onto the floor and had to fix the blinds in the bathroom twice as they kept coming off the reels !....The apartment is very dark and depressing and one week was enough !!
- David (8/5): Very good - It was a good sized apartment for a family of 5 and the host had provided all of the basics and the extras, such as WiFi and Netflix, etc was a great addition. Being paw friendly was a real bonus. Nothing about the actual apartment, but the town is a bit jaded, with the town centre being especially dire. However, it was ideal to use the property as a base for exploring the surrounding area...such as Barnard Castle, Richmond and Darlington.
- Gillian (9/5): Everyone had fun!! - Washing machine tripped the power continuously
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional - Really lovely flat, had everything needed for a comfortable stay Difficult to find a parking place
- Angela (8/5): Dog friendly and comfortable - Very spacious (lots of room for our dog), comfortable bed, quiet at night, all accommodation on ground floor (also convenient for our dog!)
Very convenient for Durham and Beamish.
- Saima (7/5): Good -
- Rachael (7/5): Good -
- Dharmeshkumar (10/5): Relaxing stay in a convenient, specious and full of facility house, made us feel right at home. - Good location, specious room size, large and comfy beds, good collection of books to read, nicely put together decoration.
easy to operate heating thermostat.
- Rafat (9/5): Superb -
- Nigel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Justine (10/5): Home away from home. Highly recommend! - Clean beds, kitchen and bathroom. Quiet area. Responsive owner with great customer service skills.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - It was a perfect set up, I was amazed at the effort gone into absolutely everything
- Melanie (10/5): Very spacious property, comfy beds, nice touches like cereal and bread if needed. Well located to ca -
- Valerie (9/5): Superb - Rooms very large
Beds comfortable
Great communication
- Victoria (9/5): Perfect home from home, spacious and clean. - Lovely property - large rooms and the bedroom was tastefully decorated. Great facilities - everything you could need. The only thing I could critique would be the back gate sticking and when I finally pushed it open I fell through and almost down the stairs on the opposite side of the gate. We used the front door thereafter.
- Vikkinade (10/5): Very impressed - Good size. Comfortable bed. Bathroom extractor fan ran all night. This was annoying and they are supposed to time out.
- Tammie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything you need and clean the owner is lovely and very helpful, will be booking in the future
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (6/5): Good value and worked for us. - Comfortable beds. Good location Kitchen has little work space but was ok for basics
- Sheena (9/5): Excellent comms re the property. Bishop Auckland delightful once we found the old town. The castle and gardens was a big - Perfectly situated, clean, really well equipped appartment Very small point of a hidden ? Nail or screw under the carpet near the bathroom. Quite painful to stand on with no shoes!! I’m sure totally fixable
