• Barbara (8/5): Great location in the heart of Patras and opposite the ferry port to Kefalonia - Location is amazing -our room looked over the pedestrianised shopping street. We arrived by ferry and it was only a few minutes walk to the room. The mattress, pillows etc were super comfy and everything very new. Breakfast at the Mediteranee Hotel was included and very good. Unfortunately a group of young people were staying and constantly knocking on each others doors or shouting in the corridor and the noise echoed terribly! We could hear evereything through the thin walls and interconnecting room door and as they returned to their rooms at 5am I sadly didn't get a good night's sleep! The shower didn't have very hot water so we were both unable to shower whilst there!

• Καραγιαννη (9/5): - Πολύ όμορφο το δωμάτιο , καθαρό, κάθε μέρα καινούργιες πετσέτες , μοντέρνο . Είχε ψυγείο , πιστολάκι για μαλλιά, σίδερο ρούχων . Ήταν στο κέντρο της Πάτρας . Είχε κάποιες ώρες το απόγευμα αρκετή φασαρία από πλανόδιους μουσικούς , επίσης το στρώμα δεν ήταν πολύ βολικό γιατί γλιστρούσε , στην ουσία ήταν δυο κρεβάτια ενωμένα .

• Spiros (8/5): Ottima struttura, che consiglio vivamente. - Il residence si trova all'interno di una struttura alberghiera e ne condivide tutti i servizi, persino l'ottima e ricca colazione. La strutture si trova nel cuore del centro della città, nell'area della vivacissima area pedonale. L'esterno è un moderno decadente e fatiscente, ma l'interno è stato completamente ristrutturato e le camere sono moderne, ampie, pulitissime e molto comode. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura.

• Georg_und_Renia (6/5): Κάκιστη σχέση τιμής-παροχών - ΤΟ ΘΕΤΙΚΟ: To προσωπικό ευγενικότατο και εξυπηρετικότατο, από την Reception έως την καμαριέρα! Είχα την δυνατότητα να μείνω 1 βράδυ μέσω booking σε απλό δωμάτιο και 2 βράδια σε σουίτα μέσω άλλου παρόχου. Ενώ η τιμή του απλού δωματίου ήταν τίμια, η τιμή για μια σουίτα ήταν απαράδεκτη. Πρακτικά οι ίδιες παροχές με το απλό δωμάτιο ΣΥΝ ένα σαλόνι με τραπέζι και καναπέ. 70Ε το απλό δωμάτιο, 220Ε η σουίτα. 220Ε έχω δώσει για δωμάτιο με θέα τον Θερμαϊκό σε 5αστερο ξενοδοχείο πάνω στην παραλία της Θεσνικής...Λίγο να συνέλθει ο διαχειριστής των δωματίων με τις τιμούλες. Η είσοδος είναι στην πίσω μεριά του ξενοδοχείο Mediterrane, ή ακόμη καλύτερα στο καπνιστήριο του ξενοδοχείου, για να είμαστε πιο ειλικρινείς. Το πρωινό εξαιρετικά basic. Κοινώς: Δεν αξίζει τα λεφτά του, παρά μόνο αν κλείσει κανείς απλό δωμάτιο. Δεν θα το ξαναεπέλεγα.
• Isabel (10/5): Een topverblijf voor een eerlijke prijs - De ligging midden in het centrum was fantastisch. Het ontbijt was gevarieerd. Je kan best via het hotel mediterane binnen gaan. Dit is tegenover de winkel h&m. En aan deze balie krijg je jouw toegangskaarten voor de kamer. Leuk om een terrasje te hebben voor het hotel. Vriendelijk personeel Niets

Purtroppo siamo capitati in un fine settimana e poiché la struttura si colloca nelle strade dei locali, è stato abbastanza rumoroso.

• katoufa (10/5): Άριστες εντυπώσεις, συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα - Καθαρό δωμάτιο με πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Η τοποθεσία ήταν τέλεια, κέντρο κοντά σε όλα.
• Ankie (8/5): - Zeer nette ruime hotelkamer, schoon en fris. Badkamer is prima maar wat aan de kleine kant, fijne douche. Vriendelijke receptiemedewerker. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Goede locatie in centrum. Gratis parkeerplek op groot parkeerterrein aan de haven, op loopafstand. Ons was vooraf niet duidelijk dat Patras Residence in hetzelfde gebouw zit als Hotel Mediterranee, nog steeds niet duidelijk wat het verschil is, alle faciliteiten zijn hetzelfde....? We kregen de airco niet goed ongesteld; die schakelde ook automatisch uit wat niet de bedoeling is.

• Penelope (10/5): Top five of places I have ever stayed, worldwide! - Residence Patras was outstanding. Top five of places I have ever stayed, worldwide. The desk staff were wonderful - kind and helpful, even ringing the bus station for me to get times as the KTEA website is less than helpful, in English or Greek! The room was spacious – huge! – and very quiet, despite being overlooking a busy street. The bathroom was large and modern, with excellent shower power. The air-com worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable. A wee kettle and teabags were a lovely surprise (coffee Nespresso machine and hot plate, too). The TV worked, with BBC News and some channels in English with Greek dubbing. The breakfast buffet was varied, plentiful and delicious. I was racing for a bus so took a goody bag for my journey! The bus station is 600m away, and the train station 400m, although trains are rare on the Peloponese. Don't be fooled by the sign at the train station to Olympia. Trains haven't run there 'for a decade'! This is not a bad thing but useful to know...The Residence Patras address on my booking.com booking differed from the one on the hotel's card, which is 75 Riga Feraiou Street and this corresponds with the street sign. This is the main shopping area of Patras and is pedestianized so the taxi driver dropped me off on the shorefront road (Agiou Andreou), a block short and helpfully pointed me in the right direction up Agiou Nikolaou, but without the info that the hotel entrance is down a passageway so I was wandering 'lost' for a few minutes. From the junction of Agiou Nikolaou and Riga Feraiou St, turn right and Residence Patras is on the left, down a 15m passage next to the corner shop, but the sign and small wooden entrance door are at the end of passage, and not easily visible from the street, so I wandered up and back a couple of times. If you stay Agiou Nikolaou, you find the Hotel Mediterranean a couple of doors up on the right (20m) from the corner with Riga Feraiou, which is also desk for Residence Patras.
• Zoya (6/5): Overall wasn’t too bad - Great location, in the middle of shopping centre, however it was very noisy, view from our window was dilapidated block of very unattractive units . The breakfast area was always understaffed and couldn’t keep up with replenishment. Very disorganised. Had to wait for everything. Instead of doubling up they were bringing a little bit at a time. The room was nice and good size

• Stefan (7/5): Comfortable and spacious room in the middle of Patra. - Big and spacious room, recently renovated with modern furniture. Very clean and in the middle of the city centre. Relatively quiet for the location. Horrible check-in experience. The hotel apparently shares a reception with another hotel, which is not communicated beforehand. The given adress leads to a shady staircase which actually functions as the back entrance to the property. "Reverse engineering" the path to the reception through the guestroom corridors finally leads to the reception which is located in a different street, at a different adress, and does not show any name tags for this hotel.
• Ema (6/5): Modern and bright rooms in a slightly disappointing overall experience - New, modern and bright rooms. The residences share a reception with the hotel next door. As we weren’t made aware of this, the arrival was quite chaotic and upsetting as we couldn’t find the property. The breakfast for mediocre and is shared with the hotel next door which has slightly dated common spaces. The residence wing is new and unused to the point of feeling a little like you’re still in a building site, with paint smells in the hallways. Not very complete or cosy.
