Guest Reviews
- Garry (10/5): - The cottage was absolutely lovely with tbe perfect touch of extras to make our stay so luxurious- four poster, luxury linen, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. Wonderful kitchen condiments percect proper coffee and the chocolates - wonderful. Spotless cleanliness and wondeful shower. Stairs

- karen (10/5): Excellent - It was quirky and very comfortable. Left items in fridge and after we’d locked up realised, the owner came back to let us in, above and beyond, thank you, if it hadn’t sold I’d have bought it, perfect in every way. Loved the biscuits, nice touch Nothing it was perfect, it was an adventure going to the toilet during the night as it was downstairs, didn’t mind this as it was part of the fun, light in phone made it achievable

- Ryan Haswell (10/5): -
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - Just everything
- Chris (8/5): Little gem in a great location - Location was great
Great attention to details and they made sure we had the basics needed for our stay Nothing all was great
- Dave (9/5): Superb - Lovely cosy cottage, very clean and modern. Lovely comfy bed and was in a quiet area Property on 3 levels so up and down stairs to the bathroom which is at the base of the building.
- Julie (8/5): Enjoyed it and Ulverston. - Location, clean , quirky Bathroom on ground floor fine until
You need it in the night! But was only 2 days so was ok
- Marti (9/5): Must stay - Bed and sofa super comfortable shower settings for different spray awesome No bluebells disappointing even a few artificial ones dotted about would help sell its place-name. fridge needs a piece of wood slotted above it to stop tilting over when opened. Couldnt get cooker to switch on at all hob worked though. Bathroom switch needs rotating 180° so in correct position when off. Bathroom shelf when your a man pulling you pants up after standing in front toilet causes elbow strike on right arm needs moving more central to space it inhabits. Cupboard top right next to oven has a reputation of nearly hitting u in the face. Wooden steep stairs if you wear just socks so dangerous need some grip. One kitchen cupboard top left of cooker had grease stains only noticable at night with lights on. Kitchen table I noticed it usually couples and the size creates a feeling of separation from your partner sitting sa far away at opposite sides I would reduce the size by the width of the dropleaf table folded down. Garden needs some more flowers more colour. Other than that everything was superb and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay would 110% recommend. Oh and no pen for visitors book to sign last thing I promise lol
- Solange (10/5): We found the perfect place...at last - This property is just perfect. Everything had been thought of to make our stay easy, and comfortable. Located between a park and the town center. The outside terrace is quiet and weather permitting allows for breakfast and other meals outside. It was spotless, and spacious. Nothing, this is a rare find
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, amazing facilities and immaculate
- Joanne (10/5): Lovely chilled out environment inside and out - Location comfort luxurious high spec contents very home from home Nothing
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - Such a beautiful place to stay! Couldn’t have found a better place to stay for a nice cosy weekend in the lakes.
- Binks (10/5): Beautiful cottage with great surrounding area. - Great location. Quiet street. Dog friendly area. Many activities even in colder months. Great communication from the host. Parking right outside the cottage.
- Sarah (10/5): Had a beautiful stay here, the house had everything we needed and could park right outside. Very comfortable bed and set - Central location, had everything that we needed
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent use of space....cottage over three floors. Bed and sofa extremely comfortable. Shower facilities also great. Middle floor was a tad cold altho it was -4 on the evening. Living room, bedroom and toilet areas were warm enough tho.
- Nicola (10/5): Peaceful - Cosy and warm in an excellent location. There’s nothing not to like
- John (9/5): We had a wonderful stay - All facilities were complete, host is very friendly and kind. The bedroom being on another level
- Jojos (10/5): Absolutely beautiful maintained cottage, lovely base to explore everything in walking distance. - Excellent communication, beautiful cottage.
Comfy bed, really good shower
Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits.
Parking We have no negative feedback
- Peteclark24 (10/5): Exceptional - Great location close to centre of town lovely cottage Would of been nice if cottage was warm when we got there was fine once warmed up not sure if underfloor heating was working mabie we should of asked didn't spoil our great weekend
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): A quirky little house with excellent facilities - Well furnished, very quaint, super-clean and had everything you needed to make for a lovely weekend break. Loved that our dogs were welcomed and the host pre-stay information was excellent. Ulverston is a busy little town with plenty to do and see and great access to surrounding areas. There was nothing negative about the property itself apart from one of my dogs found the open tread on the staircase tricky! There was an external route, so all was good 😊
- Ruby (9/5): Superb -
- Wade (10/5): Lovely cottage in lovely Ulverston. - Lovely little cottage decorated, equipped, and cleaned to excellent standards. Short walk from a lovely local pub (lots of info given by the host) and all of Ulverston. A great base for exploring the South Lakes. Will definitely be back.
- Clare (10/5): Great location and very well appointed and immaculately clean cotta - Great location and the cottage was beautiful and completed to a very high standard! Nothing!
- Samantha (10/5): fantastic place and will use as a base when back in the area. - The cottage was very well presented. It was our wedding anniversary and so prosecco and biscuits being left for us was a lovely touch. Such a beatiful place. Wonderful hosts Nothing not to like as even our dog was catered for with treats, poo bags , blankets and towels, etc. We brought his bed and everything but he did enjoy a treat or two.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (10/5): Excellent - The cottage is stunning, everything was perfectly clean. The location is very good too, just a short walk to the town centre. Stuart was understanding when we couldn't make it for the first day of the reservation and offered to help - this goes a long way. Highly recommended!
- Ian (9/5): Great Stay - Very clean and comfortable cottage. Good communication with the owner. Good location to explore the surrounding area. The stairs. But we did know about that before we went.
- Cheryl (9/5): Superb - Lovely spot. Very nicely decorated, had everything we needed The 2 flights of stairs to the toilet during the night. But this couldn't be changed so completely understood this
- Emma (7/5): Nice place, nice cottage but wouldn’t say suitable for dogs - Bedroom was nice and comfortable The layout, one room in each of 3 floors with steep open stairs to the lounge area/bathroom and to outside - difficult for dogs or anyone with mobility issues but otherwise good for a couple
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (9/5): Great wee cottage - Lovely albeit small cottage, very well equipped kitchen, much appreciated the coffee / biscuits / milk. Very comfortable bed. Wifi worked well. Only issue I had was where to put the recycling - but I think the info just needs updated.
This would not be available great if you had mobility issues as 2 flights stairs between bathroom and bedroom.
- Frank (10/5): The perfect little cottage - The location was perfect for our needs. The cottage itself was of excellent quality and cleanliness. We will definitely use it again. This didn't come to mind as we had a comfortable trouble free stay.
- Suzanne (9/5): Lovely accommodation, great location and good value. - Great location, excellent value for money and perfect for a short break. The indoor stairs were difficult for our 10 year old Labrador to use and the outside steps were a little steep but he managed to use these.
- Samantha (10/5): Great location, clean and had everything we needed - Clean and well equipped Nothing it was perfect
- Charlotte (10/5): Couldn't have been better! - Beautiful little cottage, it was a perfect for base for a solo traveller like myself.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional - Everything this cottage is just perfect we didn't want to leave
- Lisa (10/5): A beautiful, tranquil haven in the heart of a quiet town. - This is a delightful property - beautifully presented throughout and really well equipped. The comprehensive information provided about the cottage made it easy to find and modify (for example) the heating. The cottage has the advantage of being within easy walking distance of the town centre, whilst still being quiet enough to sleep with a window open.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, quirky cottage in a great location.
