Daan (10/5): Erg fijne week gehad! - Het personeel was erg aardig. Verder was de kamer goed, we hadden alles wat we nodig hadden. Ook hadden ze een hele fijne wellness/sauna en was het ontbijt super goed. We kregen hier echt een familie gevoel! Niks, wij vonden alles goed!

Dr. Roland (10/5): Genialer Ort mit einer außergewöhnlichen neuen Saunalandschaft! - Die Gastgeber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Lage am Ende von Obergurgl, direkt zu Beginn vieler Wanderwege ist toll. Die neue Saunalandschaft und das Frühstücksbuffet stechen besonders heraus!

Artur (9/5): Ideal base for mountain hikes - just mind the off-season lull - Pension Wendlhof sits perfectly at the quiet end of Obergurgl, with trails right on the doorstep—great for anyone eager to head straight into the Alps. Our room was spacious, spotless, and felt cozy, and we appreciated the free parking for the motorbike. Breakfast set us up well for the day, and the staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. Be aware that Obergurgl is almost empty in the off-season (we visited mid-June). Only one hotel restaurant was open, so dinner required a bit of luck. Also, some cut-up old furniture was stacked in front of our terrace doors, which detracted from an otherwise neat setting. Overall, though, it’s a charming mountain pension and a solid choice.

Emma (9/5): Superb - This was a great place , 5 min walk to ski lifts, grocery shop and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable. We were given extra pillows when we asked for them. It was very quiet despite being so close to everything.
Mccoll (9/5): We all had a excellent time, and were sorry to leave. - Location great, mostly very modern uplift, piste preparation excellent. little or no queues. Efficient ski hire and lift pass. Good value restaurants. Free bus service. 007 and motorbike museum are a thoroughly welcome bonus. Wee but quiet in the evening but thats ok as its a small mountain village.

It is a pension and not a 4-Star hotel so you get what you pay for. The staff are very friendly, lots of parking, sauna was also pleasant. There was no bacon for breakfast. The bathrooms could be modernized, but are still very functional.

The rooms were spotlessly clean Breakfast was great Only a 5 minute walk to the ski lift We were there for ski finish at the end of the season and a lot of the restaurants and bars in the resort close prior to the end of the skiing season. (Not the fault of the hotel at all)

Carl (10/5): Excellent accommodation a stones throw from the piste! - Very comfortable, lovely location just a short stroll to the slopes. We rented two rooms for our family of four, both of which were excellent. The bedrooms were well furnished and stylish, with a very traditional style. Both rooms had great balconies, with inspiring vies across the piste and mountains. Breakfast was very impressive. Great variety of cuisine, beautifully presented. Breakfast rolls and such super fresh. The staff were superb and always helpful.
Sandra (10/5): Great location, friendly and welcoming - We had a very warm welcome when we arrived and had a very lovely apartment with everything we could need. The breakfast was good and plentiful and would have had something for every taste. Staff were friendly and the rooms were cleaned spotlessly by the time we returned from Breakfast each day. Location wise the hotel is right next to the main walking areas in Obergurgl so access was very easy. We knew about there being no soap in the bathroom from previous reviews so that’s a very minor niggle. Nothing we didn’t like.
