Guest Reviews
- Lais (1/5): DONT BOOK THIS APARTMENT - Besides the location, nothing. DONT BOOK THIS APARTMENT. I had the worst experience.
Listing all the problems I had. (1) The host was not replying when we were arriving to the hotel and I didnt know where to park. In the end his instructions left us 18min walk from the hotel with luggage. (2) The first day I had to shower with cold water because the heater was not working. (3) When we fixed the heater, the energy went off and we were without energy - no hot shower again. we complaint and he said it was normal. (4) There was an AC but we were not able to turn it on basically because they lost the remote control and told us to open the window. (5) The window has no blackout and you wake up at 5am. Besides that the apartment is horrible.
- Derya (8/5): Very good - Location is great. Room is very small but sufficient for a short stay. There is a small balcony as well where you can enjoy a sundowner room is small but a compromise we were willing to make for the location. Bathroom is an old bath tub but clean. Because it's on rooftop floor, the ceiling is too low and it is difficult to take a shower especially if your height is above average
- Tracy (8/5): Great location and good value. - Great location and very good value. Located in the old town right next to the river. Lovely roof terrace overlooking a beautiful church. Excellent communication during check in and check out. We were able to leave luggage which was very handy. The low ceilings make it difficult to shower.
- Michaela (9/5): Everything was fine. - The owners sent a video with instructions for entering, which was very helpful. The accommodation is in a strategic location, you can easily walk to all the sights. The terrace was nice, the view is more of a courtyard, but we expected that. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.
- Elina (9/5): Superb - This place is really nice, rooftop balcony gives amazing view, and location is fantastic 😍
- Lachlan (10/5): Exceptional - Stefania was amazing and made the whole check-in process super easy, she was very accommodating and welcoming!
- Lidia (9/5): Superb -
- Evelyn (7/5): Good -
- Ralitsa (2/5): Location + All the rest - - Location Absolute lack of communication. The host didn't provide us with check in details and didn't respond to our attempts to contact them neither by email, booking messages or phone. We had to ask Booking for support. Even then they were slow to send us the details.
The apartment itself is quite old and worn out. It is in need of serious renovation. The ceeling in the bathroom is so low an adult cannot take a normal shower.
- Nicoleta (9/5): Superb -
- Shiva (8/5): Very good -
- Bram (7/5): Good - Good value for the money Couldnt stand up in de shower so you have to sit down
- Sietze (7/5): Good - Location Low ceilings, especially in bathroom/shower. No communication from host.
- Manuela (9/5): Superb -
- Eileen (9/5): Cute and central accommodation. - A nice accommodation in the old town
Had a nice little rooftop terrace.
- Zrinka (8/5): A - The location is great, 5-minutes walk to the major squares filled with restaurants and cafes.
- Marton (7/5): Well located, not that clean and tidy but still ok. - The apartment we got wasn't the one we originally booked but was still in the middle of the historical center, very well located. The initial communication with the venue provider wasn't easy, we had to call them multiple times. Communication would have been essential as we haven't got any info in advance about how to find the apartment and how to open it. It also turned out that the apartment we originally booked had some issues so we were provided another one which wasn't tidy and cleaned enough (probably the owner wasn't expecting to have guests there...). But all together it was ok for one night.
- Ladislav (8/5): Nice place in Verona center for 2 people without car. - Apartment is in nice place nearly in historical Verona center. Has beautiful terase and 1 comfortable room. Perfect for couple, who come not by car. - Bathroom is really not comfortable - wight is about 150 cm, so impossible to take shower.
- Car parking is more than 1 km from apartment - count with 20 minutes by walk with all languages.
- Not good for more than 2 people, because AC is only in 1 bedroom and second 2 beds are in kitchen, which is really hot during summer.
- Komineev (8/5): Very good - A two-room appartment with kitchen in the perfect location - close to the city center, but outside the main crowding area. There was no AC in one of the rooms, the ceiling in the toilet is very low, one can take shower only sitting. Besides, there was no pan in the kitchen.
- Eduard (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, cozy apartment under the attic next to the church of St. Anastasia. Clean, beautiful, nice terrace.Convenient location, because the entire city center is nearby and the square is just a few steps away.
Helpful staff who are kind enough to help and solve the problem of things that need to be put somewhere between transports. There are a few missing utensils, in particular there is no frying pan, and also no corkscrews, which became a problem.
- Petra (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice flat next to the church with a beautiful view from the balcony. It is in the centre of the town. There is a possibility of parking (it is 12minut walking from the flat) in an encoded court.
We were really satisfied.
The flat is in ZTL, we hope the owner made a registration as he promised. Taller people must be careful, the ceiling is low, but we had no problems.
- Biser (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aniruddhan (7/5): Comfortable stay - The apartment is spacious and comfortable for two people. The balcony with the plants and table is beautiful. A perfect apartment for people who like it a bit old school. Quite close to the river, which is great for a short stroll. There are few power sockets...but not at places where you would need them.
The sloping ceiling is a bit of a hassle particularly in the bathroom (nothing un-manageable).
- Urša (9/5): Superb - Great apartment, great location in the city centre! Stayed there with my sister and 1,5 year child and it was great. The terrace is amazing.
- Selena (9/5): Superb -
- Mehmeti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Csaba (8/5): Very good - Good location, friendly, really responsive staff. Also precise instructions sent on how to get into the apartment. As this is a roof apartment the bathroom and living room ceiling is really low so we kicked our heads a few times. The parking is a little further away, so in rain it's not the most comfortable thing that you need to walk like 1 km to get your car.
- Linda (8/5): A cute apartment that was perfect for my needs. - The location was perfect for our visit, as it was very close to the event we came to Verona for. This was an entire apartment - I could have lived here for an extended amount of time. It offered a kitchen area, a sitting room (although the pull out couch was made into a bed, so the space wasn't used for lounging - not an issue as we were only there overnight). The bedroom was large and had a king bed in it as well as another bed that we didn't use. The bathroom was nice too, and clean, and had a washer in it if we'd been in need of washing our travel clothes. There was a lovely patio outside that offered really cool rooftop views. It had a table and chairs and was a great addition to the space.
The management people, while unseen, were extremely responsive, and answered immediately when we called and texted. Access was not via key, but a key code. Getting in was a tad awkward as the management team guided us in and needed to see where we were going - there was some confusion on their part, but communication was easy enough, and it wasn't a big deal at all. While I loved the space, my husband, who is 5'11" had some troubles with the slanted ceilings and bumped his head a few times. So I guess this might be a consideration for tall visitors. I'm 5' 5" and had little problems with the top floor ceilings.
The presence of a kitchenette was wonderful - we went to the market and got food for the morning; I wish there had been an ice cube tray in the freezer compartment - that would have been a nice addition!
A suggestion I'd like to make it to provide laundry detergent that has no fragrance in it - that way anyone could use the detergent as well as the washer (I have chemical sensitivities, and can't use it, or a washer that fragranced products have been used in). This modification could be offered as a valuable addition for the fairly large percentage of folks who are chemically sensitive (it's at 26%in the US!). If you made that change it would be VERY helpful if we return on a similar trip in 2024 or 2025.
