- Deborah (9/5): Beautiful location with modern comforts - The property is in a very good location for exploring the Peak District with easy access to Bakewell, Buxton and having Carsington water on the doorstep. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, the underfloor heating was appreciated and very effective. The two bathrooms were a big bonus and the beds were comfortable. There was some outside space too with a small private courtyard that has a barbecue, although it was a bit too cold to sit outside when we were there. The pool is an additional bonus with views out over the countryside. All mod cons are included except a washing machine but who wants to do washing when you are on holiday? The only thing that I found difficult was the sofas were very low and quite deep. The younger party members had no problems but older party members found them difficult to use.

- David (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - Woodshed cottage is fabulous ! It is super clean , very well equipped and beautifully decorated . All of the rooms are an excellent size and it felt spacious for the 4 of us . The pool is stunning with a great view out to the countryside. A real gem !

- Ken (10/5): We would strongly recommend this, as a holiday home to visit a beau area. - Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. Excellent facilities and very clean with a love welcome pack on arrival. We had a lovely short stay and would choose to come back. The Pool was fantastic! A very small point but honestly, us old codgers found the settees and chair in the lounge were very low for us. Probably would have been absolutely fine for younger guests.😀
