Guest Reviews
- Jonathan (8/5): Good location and good views - Good location, not far from centre of town. Great view from the flat. Hill down to town and back was considerably trickier after climbing Ben Nevis but that isn't the fault with the accommodation!

- Ismat (10/5): Very nice cosy flat with nice kitchen . We enjoy our stay so much. Amazing view from seating area. Just in town centre. - Very nice cosy flat No toilet lock or shower lock

- RAQUEL (8/5): - El interior del apartamento muy bien, como las fotos. La entrada y escalera al apartamento muy sucia, nos dejó parados creíamos que nos habíamos equivocado.
- Iveta (9/5): Great stay, we enjoyed it :) - The accommodation was clean and spacious. There was always plenty of space in the parking area. The communication was excellent and informative. The host sent tips for trips and restaurants.

- Daniel (9/5): Comfortable, modern stay with great hosts - highly recommend - Modern interior, comfortable, ideal location in Fort William near Ben Nevis, great communication with hosts who were very informative, had everything we needed N/A

- Claire (8/5): Lovely flat would stay again - Spacious
Clean
Lovely views
Great location to town No locks on bathroom doors
Small double bed
Flat entry way/hallway - nothing to do with flat though this was communal flat entry
- Sandeep (9/5): All very good and loved the stay. Very comfortable and had all the required amenities. - Great view of the lake from the living room. All conveniences and amenities were available. The entrance to the property could be better maintained. Needs a bit of a makeover, also perhaps CCTV in the common areas could be helpful
- Martin (10/5): Comfortable, bright, newly-renovated, well-equipped flat with a great view and a very good location. - Comfortable, bright, newly-renovated, well-equipped flat with a great view and a very good location. No complaints.
- Carrie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (9/5): Superb - Walk back up to flat from Town.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - The location was extremely central. Apartment was clean, and spacious and comfortable enough to relax after hiking. Bathroom that doesn't lock,, and not enough wardrobe space.
- Iain (10/5): Modern apartment close to the centre. Great view of the loch too - Property is clean, modern and well equipped. Reasonably recently refurbished the property looks great.
A 10 minute walk into the Fort William centre plus a great view from the living room makes it great. The flat stairwell is in need of maintenance and the main bedroom flooring squeaks but that did not detract from the apartment.
Guests should note that the property is close but the hill to it is steep and it may not suit older or impaired guests.
- Maurits (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (7/5): Family Holiday - Flat was clean and had enough space for our group of 5. Host was great and let us check in early as we arrived ahead of schedule. They replied to inquiries very quickly. There is a pretty viewpoint just a minute up the road from the flat that provides beautiful views when it's clear. The view from the living room was spectacular and wonderful to look at when having our morning coffee. Front door was double locked so felt secure when we were inside and out for the day. We were unable to walk to town due to the hills, could only drive. Appliances were difficult to learn as their was no instruction booklets. Hair dryer was not in the bathroom and we didn't find it till end of day 2. Had to wash our faces in the kitchen, one bathroom sink was too small to use and other was separate faucets. Pipes in the building squeaked all night making it hard to sleep and there was significant road noise on a few nights quite late (although you can't fault the hosts for that). A suggestion for the information binder in room, perhaps add a page of nearby sights to see as some people may not have a full itinerary, however we did.
- Anna (8/5): Very good - I was a great location, was clean and all the necessities. I was a great stay just missing a few extras. Missing the few extra things like dishwasher and dryer.
Also some extra soft furnishings would help reduce the echo in the apartment.
- Jason (10/5): Great stay in a good location. - Very clean and very well presented. Nothing.
- Marie (10/5): Lovely and comfortable - Great location and perfect size for our group if 4. It had everything that you needed lovely and clean Nothing
- Sonja (9/5): Superb -
- Pearl (7/5): Good - Location good for town centre
Steep hill If anyone has mobility issues.and steps to second floor flat.
Great wee flat for exploring the area.
Very clean and modern.
Comfy beds. Sparce in furniture, in bedrooms.
Requires a comfortable couch or chairs in living room.. after a long day off hiking.
- Wilson (8/5): Very good -
- Winter (8/5): Ideal place to stay to explore Fort William and surrounding area. Comfortable beds, very usable kitchen, and great place - Good location if you have a car. Very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with what is needed for cooking. Only complaint is that the back right job wasn’t working
- Tom (9/5): Great location, perfect for Ben Nevis. - The property was very modern inside with a lot of space. The heating/hot water was amazing : the place never felt cold even after a long day in the mountains The ceilings were a little low but I’m very tall. I wasn’t an inconvenience though.
- Crina (9/5): Superb -
- Isabel (4/5): Disappointing - The vista was nice apart from the housing in front of the venue. The location was very disappointing. Didn't expect to be in the middle of a housing scheme.
The close of the venue was poorly kept & poorly lit.
The number of stairs was difficult for our party.
Was certainly not as expected.
- Caroline (9/5): Excellent stay in Fort William - Very modern flat, warm, near Fort William town centre. Towel rail not working
- James (9/5): Excellent Large Property With Beautiful View and Excellent Facilities - The photographs of the property show you exactly what you are getting, however when you are in the property it is even bigger and better than it looks. The beds were more comfortable than many a hotel bed I have stayed in. The facilities of washing machine, coffee maker, microwave, toaster etc. make it so much a better stay than being in a hotel as you have so much space to relax and socialise in rather than being stuck in a bedroom. This may be out of the control of the host as it is a shared property but the stair lights outside the flat were not working and as we are into the dark nights so much earlier we had to use our mobile phone torches to be able to go up the stairs, identify we were at the correct flat and then view the lock pad to access the key and then open the door.
In the bathroom there was an earth wire just hanging down and running loose along the skirting board, which needs tidied up or covered in some way to make it feel safer.
- Johnson (9/5): Superb - Very spacious and clean, really happy stay, made some good memories Squeaky Floor boards in the double room and no locks on the toilet or bathroom doors, just observations, didn't detract from my holiday
- Laura (7/5): Good base but needed the car to get about with ease. - Very clean inside property and lovely view. The location was close to town but on a hill, so someone less fit would struggle walking back from town. Also the communal area could do with a fresh lick of paint to help brighten it up to help match the inside of the property.
- Swann (8/5): Just what we needed - Location excellent for access to Fort Wiliiam centre and facilities
Flat clean spacious and well equipped with great views from the lounge.
Shower strong but temp control and bit tricky The flat is ex council and as such situated in a large council estate. The immediate surroundings are therefore not pretty though the location is central and the flat itself lovely.
I think some information to alert tenants to that would be good ; needing careful wording.
- Shirley (8/5): The stairs from parking lot are a challenge, but I would stay here again with able bodied friends. - The flat was very clean and beds were comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked and the tea, coffee and cookies were very welcome. We figured out how to work the stove top!! The view is magnificent. Although I knew the flat was up a flight of stairs, I found the parking directions a bit misleading as it doesn't mention that the lower parking lot meant there are a LOT of stairs to get up to the property with all the luggage. It was a challenge for us as one of our party walks with a cane and had great difficulty doing those parking lot stairs. I did try to drive to the main door but that was also a bit of a challenge. It would have been nice to have someone meet us there to help with bags from the parking lot.
- Margeret (7/5): Flat was lovely but entrance ruined it - Entrance to property discusting not been brushed or mopped for a long time
- Yates (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angus (8/5): Very good -
- Ravi (9/5): i would use the property again if cleanliness is kept up - The property was very clean Entrance stairways had no light (used phone torch) and very run down, very ghastly. the the keylock to collect the keys was very difficult to see the numbers in order to open it
- Lorna (8/5): perfect for a few days base to explore. - nicely decorated, spacious flat with a view to the loch. it’s a residential flat with a lot of steps up from the car park.
- Andrew (10/5): Exactly what we needed - Self catering. Nothing
- Pamela (7/5): Good - The flat was spacious, comfortable and spotless. With everything you need and close to main street. Lovely views from large front window. The location is a 2nd floor flat. These flats are a in run down, residential area. There is no mention of this property being a flat in the description or photographs. The buildings and stairwells are very uninviting. If we had any idea this was the type of property we would not have booked.
