- Matthew (10/5): A perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway in the Irish countryside! - We loved the coziness of the space and the views of the country side!
- Ewan (8/5): The name says it all. Peaceful. - The most perfectly named cottage. So peaceful, the location is the perfect getaway from the city and city lights.
Just step outside when the sun sets and view the stars to see why.
Its the perfect amount of quirky and cozy. It has everything you need to escape and relax.
Its an excellent location to explore Cork, just a beautiful part of Ireland.
- Iuliia (9/5): - A small Irish cottage in a quiet, green location. Two comfortable bedrooms and electric blankets ensured a wonderful night's sleep. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. We stayed for two nights, and it was easy to prepare dinner: a frying pan, a saucepan, spices, and sunflower oil. Thank you for your hospitality.
- June (10/5): - Our stay was excellent. It was warm, and cozy and oh so homey! Very good spot for a quiet gateway in the country. The location was just right for us, as we were proceeding to Killarney from Cork, but would be excellent too for tours in Cork. The host was really kind and generous, the directions provided were just right. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I look forward to my return.
- John (3/5): Not great - fine if you like old, rural Ireland style but damp, old & small is an issue here, - EibhlIn was responsive & easy to deal with. The beds were comfortable. The cottage is damp & dank - it's a very old cottage, uninsulated with extremely narrow staircase & low doorways & ceilings in places, so being 6 foot, have to often duck while walking around. Kitchen is tiny, barely enough space for 1 person to stand in. While they have tried to modernise it - electric shower, hob, etc, it's so old and damp/musty - not my cup of tea. Prefer to stay in more modern-style accommodation & comfort.
- Daniel (10/5): - Eibhlin very Kind Person and the cottage is Clean, very cozy and indeed peaceful.. We had a lovely stay.
- Duncan (9/5): - It was exactly what it says very peaceful excellent Nothing
- DG43 (5/5): - Electrische deken in bed Hygiene van faciliteiten
- Simona (8/5): Lovely stay - The cottage was quiet and really peaceful indeed. There was a very good heating system. The living room was cosy and we loved the evenings by the fire. Our dog loved it too, he always travels with us

- Andrea (8/5): - Quaint cottage that lives up to its name. Nice landscape views. Lovely gesture from host by leaving breakfast items and treats for guests. Wish the bathroom washbasin wasn't so low.
- Robert (9/5): Super warm cottage, in a nice area. Can't go wrong. - Peaceful cottage was perfect for our overnight stay. The cottage was so comfy, and the stove just added to that.. Nice night away in a lovely location. The host was very nice and accommodating, I would highly recommend it if your in the area..
- Clare (9/5): Lovely, peaceful place to stay when travelling the south of Ireland. - Cute and homely little cottage in the countryside, west of Cork.

- WESLEY (10/5): A stay at a very peaceful cottage - My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at peaceful cottage. The hosts were charming and very welcoming. The location was idyllic and beautiful. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at peaceful cottage x
- Ellen (10/5): We had a lovely stay, it was very comfortable and felt like home - The property felt like home away from home
- loredana (8/5): Consigliatissimo!

- Paula (10/5): - Really peaceful, lovely location. Loved the garden and the original features in the house. The host left lovely little touches such as milk, eggs & butter which we really appreciated. We were travelling with a baby & they left age appropriate toys which was a lovely touch. We also really enjoyed the boardgames and jigsaws. Accommodation itself was cosy and comfortable. House is in beautiful part of the country with lots to see & do in the area Nothing!
- Charlotte (10/5): Loving place and amazing owner, definitely recommend - Secluded, clean and peaceful Hard to get the vehicle in and out of the drive way
- Irina (9/5): Superb - It's really peaceful location. House has everything what you need for a stay when you travel.

- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was absolutely idyllic. We loved the house.. So quaint and peaceful. Can see why it's called Peaceful Cottage. The hosts went above and beyond for us and we are forever thankful to them. It's nearby all tourists visit spots and even just relaxing in the cottage was beautiful. Eibhlín and Declan are wonderful ppl. Don't think I've ever met friendlier. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone who listens.. Thanks again Peaceful Cottage for wonderful memories x Nothing.. It was perfect
- Quernel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ciaran (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful Cottage is a beautiful cosy and rustic cottage, located in the Cork countryside. Has all the facilities. The host was very helpful. Pretty for us but wouldn't suit a party of 3 or more.
- Michelle (8/5): Quirky but comfortable - Quirky but comfortable, a bit out of the way but found it OK. Very nice setting. Not enough towels, refrigerator was not very clean
- Hns (10/5): Peaceful & comfortable cottage. - Everything. Can't think of anything.
- Carolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristen (8/5): Wonderful stay. - When we arrived we were welcomed by a bunch of cows across the street. We thought that was pretty neat. The host was very responsive on any questions we had. There was a dog next door that barked a lot. I’m a dog person so I didn’t mind plus I was travel with ear plugs.
- Colleen (10/5): Highly recommend. Beautiful, comfortable, friendly and accommodating owners. - GORGEOUS! Wonderful place, super comfy beds. Perfect for our needs. Friendly owners, quick to respond with questions. NA
- Salih (10/5): Thanks to the amazing host - The welcome Nothing really
- Emma (10/5): Absolutely loved everything about it, will definitely go back again. Even the dog loved it! - Everything, beautiful little cottage in a peaceful area Nothing
- Liege (4/5): Disappointing and extremely e pensive for what we got - Quiet location Difficult to find (no name, number or sign)
Tatty decoration, cupboards with rubbish, exposed wires, mold on walls, peeling wall papers, etc.
Dangerous shower, from cold to scolding (without moving dials)
4 Towels needed to be requested
- Scott (9/5): Our stay was unforgettable, and completely worth it! - Driving up to the property, it felt like I was ready to forget to USA and live there permanently. Who knows it could happen 😁. My favorite spot in the house? The ikea sofa bed with soft blanket. Kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and fresh eggs for quick breakfast.
Beyond a brief stop into the neighboring town for groceries we set our sights on hunkering down in our home away from home. This place was extremely quiet and perfect for relaxing. I hope to stay here a month next time or longer I'm not even sure if that's possible Lol . All I need is to get getting lost in a book (and not a screen), and finding a way to enjoy our adventure without staring at our phones was restorative and fun. My partner’s favorite spot was undoubtedly the fireplace, where he also engaged in some much-needed me-time and meditated. Peaceful Cottage was great for stargazing, reading, and having a few quiet moments to myself in the following morning light. What amazing sunrise 🌄. I believe if we weren't so jet lagged a walk down the lane would have been pleasant. Engaging with our host was nice definitely need to repeat again with more time here. Actively searching for a home in Ireland and we visited GG Grandfather resting place. They say you can't go home again. I disagree home isn't always a place it's a memory. I didn't like the fact we only booked one night 🙂

Fireplace was very nice in a cozy room Nothing. Everything was perfect.

- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anton (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): Our. Stay was great and the host was only a phone call away and very helpful - The house was very comfortable with. A homely feel with nice garden with on site parking Squeaky fridge 😂
- Margaret (4/5): I do not recommend this place. You're in the middle of nowhere. - Over priced for being in the middle of nowhere. Dirty and moldy. All the windows were open upon arrival and It wasn't until later that we realized it was to help cover up the smells.
Refrigerator also stopped working in the night so we had to get rid of some stuff.
- Mrkulić (10/5): Exceptional -
- Green (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage. Was made to feel very welcoming. Cozy. Warm., just all round beautiful
- Harrison (8/5): Quaint cottage outside of Cork. Very relaxing with receptive hosts. Interior needs to be udpated. -
- Ashlee (10/5): Warm, sweet, gorgeous cottage in a beautiful area with full amenities. - Absolutely gorgeous little cottage with everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen with eggs and bread for breakfast, Kitchenware, spices, and milk for coffee. We had a lovely warm fire and the host was very kind and helpful. The cottage was warm and quaint and you could tell that the host really cared about her guests. Nothing at all
- Pamela (9/5): Home away from home - This felt like home! Everything worked, and as the only human staying here, I appreciated the games, books and TV I had access to. Everything was great!
- Darko (10/5): Exceptional - We were warmly welcomed by our host and she explained everything around and gave as few tips to places and restaurants to visit. She even helped us book a table in a Restaurant on the day of our arrival. We were also welcomed by fresh tosts, eggs and tee cookies.
There is a private parking behind the Cottage with enough space.
We slept like babies here since it was very quiet and peaceful. Can definitely recommend for people who want to avoid traffic jams and rush in city centers.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Comfortable beds, very clean, the upper side of the house was good. The owner was very welcoming and smiley. In the middle of the nature, much sience, we slept very well. The dining and living room were ok but basic. The electric installation was visible what did not feel great
It worked for us for one night.
- Valerie (7/5): Perfect for our one night stay - Toys for children, family games, tv packages, WiFi, comfortable bedrooms The dining area needed a little more attention to detail with regards to dusting. Limited breakfast options, not enough for a group of 4
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luigi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bozena (7/5): Good -
- Thiyagarajah (7/5): Good -
- David (7/5): Good - The peaceful location in a rural area. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner.
- Carmel (10/5): Loved the cottage, the host was terrific and fabulous views. - It was peaceful, absolutely fabulous and just want we wanted.
Clean,cosy and comfortable.
Great views of the surrounding farms with their cows.
Terrific hosts, friendly and informative. Nothing, except a little hard to find but that was probably my navigator!
- Michael (9/5): Peaceful cottage is exactly what the name says, a private rural getaway, not far from Cork. - Peaceful cottage is located southwest of Cork and is very central to attractions in the area. It is quite rustic, but that's exactly what we wanted, reminding us of one of our grandmother's farmhouse. There were just two of us, so there was all kinds of room for us and lots of parking for our vehicle. The cottage was very private, our only regular visitors being the heard of cows across the road. The second floor bedrooms are accessible only by a narrow, fairly steep staircase. This was not a problem for us, but the cottage would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Great location not too far from Cork. Very convenient for us as we were attending the cork show but somewhere I'd love to return to with my partner and stay for a few nights. Really comfortable and cozy.
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (10/5): Escape to the real Ireland countryside. - If you really want to experience Ireland, this cottage is the place to do it. Absolutely amazing place to indulge in your Irish dreams. If you dream of an Irish country escape... you'll find it here. No joke. 🤔...that Trump wasn't thrown in jail.
- Deborah (10/5): Perfect stay- enjoyed everything about it! - The cottage is very far out in the country- the air smells sweet and it's SO quiet! I wanted to know what it would be like to live in a cottage in Ireland and this was a perfect experience! There were cows all around and the host was so happy and welcoming! Her husband kindly drove us to the closest bus station and helped with our baggage- thank you so much !
- Sytse (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the cottage and the environment. Host was fantastic as well! Great chocolate cookies.
- Gary (5/5): Passable - If you are looking for rustic and out of the way. Too rustic and out of the way. Also took a headache or two to remember the LOW door ways.
- Caglar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rowan (10/5): we had a wonderfully relaxing overnight stay. - nice quiet location and super friendly hosts who met us on arrival and showed us everything we needed. Even lit the fire for us - bonus everything was great.
- Vicky (8/5): Would stay again! - Lovely cottage, with a friendly welcome and everything we needed. Would love to stay here again next time we're in Cork. Nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely cottage, friendly welcome , beautiful surroundings. We had the best time
- Noel (10/5): A warm welcome excellent hosts.added bonus of all the games kept a teenager off her phone - Lovely quiet place There was not a thing we didn't like about the house
- Richard (9/5): A beautiful B&B in a gorgeous location. - Clean, bright, spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. Make sure you check out the sky at night!
- Guillermo (10/5): This cottage is a true gem in the area. I hope I can come back soon 😄 -
- Fiona (3/5): Avoid at all costs. - The Christmas tree was the nicest part of this place. When we arrived, the door was unlocked and anyone could go in. I contacted the host for keys to which I was told there was none, so we stayed in the middle of nowhere with the main back door unlocked. I booked the accommodation for 3 people. For breakfast, there was only 2 scones available. I contacted the host for another scone and for the keys for the back door, she ignored my request for another scone. We were all extremely disappointed with the accommodation, which we were staying in for a family wedding. The ashes were left in the fire from the previous guests. The water for the shower was very cold. Shower was dirty and very dated. I would absolutely not recommend this place. The stairs are very narrow, dangerous and not suitable for older people
