• Bhanu (1/5): Very very low quality facilities, no soap no handwash not even a water bottle was given - Just the fact that this was bang on the beach So first thing, the fan was not working There was no soaps, no tea sachets, not even handwash shower gel No toiletries were kept there Even the water bottle was not there, the staff was so lazy Whatever pictures they have uploaded online, there is no such room Entire building is under construction, no such rooms that was shown in the pictures online Lazy staff, no cleanliness and not even basic faculties were there Better not to go by photos and book, facilities not good Staff is always sleeping and lazy

• Chirag (6/5): It is a decent hotel to book. The good thing is that it is near the beach. The rooms were decent. The breakfast could ha - The property is near to the beach so that’s the best part. Supermarket is nearby. What I didn’t like is that they still use a key system to lock and unlock the door, which sometimes takes longer to open. The breakfast was average, as there were not many options.

• Любецкая (10/5): Best place in Sri Lanka Mirissa - Thank to everyone from Seashore Mirissa : from management till the staff. It was an amazing trip: welcoming, accommodation , feeding, location . Clean rooms, friendly and colorful atmosphere, excellent food , the main beach is just to cross the road. Clean and fresh air, green trees,the sea is in the window . Highly recommend from the bottom of my heart !

• Cameron (8/5): Bit basic but everything needed is around you. - Well located for restaurants, shops, and access to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful and my wife liked the greenery in the middle of it. The room was quite good. Towels and toilet paper were provided, tea & coffee making facilities, and a warm shower. Bed was comfortable enough, although my wife found it a bit tall to get on to lol Onsite restaurant too. When it came time to check out in the morning, we struggled to locate someone but managed to get out of the gates ourselves.

• Lee (4/5): Avoid at all costs - Leaving The whole place needs a good scrub. Filthy dirty, cockroaches, no hot water sometimes. Very slow breakfast, so we ended up eating breakfast elsewhere. The young lads were helpful with luggage. Apart from them, the rest of the staff were as miserable as sin.

Отель расположен рядом с дорогой, шум стоит нереальный, я спала с бирушами, но и это не спасало! Хочу подвести итог, не смотрите на высокий рейтинг отелей и кафе в Мириссе и вообще на острове, так как оценки выпрашиваю сотрудники!

• Salmi (4/5): - It was very easy to get to the sea and everywhere else. The water was cut off. Sometimes there was a hot water problem, sometimes a cold water problem. Every hour, workers were doing construction in the hotel. They didn’t think that guests might be sleeping at 8 in the morning. I complained to the hotel owner every day, and only then would the workers stop.

• MD AZMAL HOSSAN (1/5): - Our stay at Seashore Mirissa was very disappointing. The room was not as described online — it was small, not very clean, and the bathroom had a bad odor. The staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond to requests. Basic amenities like clean towels, hot water, and proper Wi-Fi were missing or poorly maintained. The location is nice, but the hotel’s condition really ruined the experience. Definitely not worth the price Very Disappointing Stay at Seashore Mirissa
• Mayaar (6/5): - The location is amazing, it is just 1 minute from the beach , the staff was friendly There was Gecko in the bathroom , the breakfast area was in front exactly from the room that made us uncomfortable opening the curtains.
• George Cherouvim (5/5): Αρκετό για 2 βραδιά, όχι για παραπανω - Άλλο είδαμε στις εικόνες και άλλο συναντήσαμε στο κατάλυμα. Ήταν σε γενικές γραμμές καλό, είχε κλιματισμό αλλα σε καποιες στιγμές υπολειτουργουσε. Αλλα απο οτι κατάλαβα επειδη ειναι πολλη τουριστική η περιοχή αν θες κατι καλό, σε όλα, τότε πρέπει να το πληρώσεις. Οπότε για 2 βραδιά ηταν στην βάση τις βαθμολογίας. Ήταν δίπλα σε ενα ποταμό ο οποίος ηταν μέσα στα σκουπίδια με λιμνάζοντα νερά. Το μπάνιο είχε μονο μια ντουζιέρα χωρίς "τηλέφωνο" και αυτο δυσκολευε λίγο. Επισης είχαμε διακοπή νερού και ρευματος για καποιες στιγμές.

At night there was no electricity I stayed whole night without electricity. And the property owner didn’t do anything for the electricity. It’s so annoying and frustrating. I suffered all the night . Even not only me other members are suffering from the same problem. I have video footage for this problem.

• Ataf (2/5): Worst decision to book this hotel - Nothing The room lost electricity connection at 1am in the night. There were no people in the reception. I tried calling several numbers, they didn't receive for 30-40 mins. When they received the call, they asked me to "adjust" as they can't do anything as it's 1am. After shouting at them over call, they sent some guy who fixed the circuit breaker and restored connection. Still, that was a hazardous fix.

• Péter (6/5): Pleasant - The distance from the beach is absolutely good. The view from.the balcony is really good. The hotel is next to some lake/river, but sometimes some really bad smell is coming from that direction. The breakfast was good, but they said breakfast starts from 8.00, before 8.30 noone was there. They say there is 0-24 reception, but noone is phisically there. We had to give our toilet paper to the guests in the opposite room, because thay ran out and they cannot find anybody to help. In the room there was some bug, which ate the bed frame all day long, so we had some wooden dust all over the corner of the bed. There is absolutely no water pressure in the 2nd floor, so it is really difficult to have a shower.

• Colette (5/5): Not a good choice. If you can go further, it is probably better to avoid Mirissa. - Private balcony. The river next to the hotel is full of garbage and this is an horrible sight . Brteakfst dit not really happen on time and the fruits were not fresh.
• Gabriela (1/5): awful hotel - We had mould in our room, old was was painted over and the new was showing up, the smell was terrible and humidity was so high that we were not able to charge our phones due to “liquid detected” notification. When we brought the issue up the hotel manager became aggressive and opposite to what they told booking offered us no other room or anything else. We left after one night out of two we were meant to stay there.

Quiet even though it was on the busy main road (room with garden view). Book a sea view room. Next to water that runs into the beach. Rat on balcony. No signs for breakfast/restaurant.

Nice big balcony with a great garden view. Comfy bed. Very close to the beach and all the local shops restaurants. I’ve mentioned the location is good if you want to be near the beach and local stores / restaurants. The location unfortunately is also right next to a busy road and right next to the dirtiest river I have ever seen. The colour of this swamp has to be seen to be believed. We booked the hotel two months before our arrival in Sri Lanka as we wanted to have a chilled Christmas in a lovely beach setting. It looked perfect in the pictures. We arrived to chaos , a temporary sign for the hotel , a building site, as they are in the process of building more rooms and a restaurant. We were made to pay immediately and then had to wait for the room. They put us in a very tired, badly maintained room at the back of the garden of the hotel overlooking the filthy swamp. It was mosquito ridden and dead mosquitos all over the bed and mosquito net. We were paying over 10,000 lkr a night for this (£29) almost double what we had paid in other parts of Sri Lanka for beautiful rooms. I complained that the room was not acceptable and they said they could move us the next night. We hardly slept that night due to a noisy and ineffective air conditioning unit, mosquitos everywhere and generally musty smell in the room. The next day we were moved to a lovely room in the main part of the hotel overlooking the garden and we were happy. It was big, clean and away from the noisy road and disgusting swamp. Not many mosquitoes. We thought all was well at this point. 2 days before we left, the manager requested that I needed to cancel my booking on here (impossible as we were already 5 days into our stay). He then said that if the booking wasn’t cancelled we would have to pay more for the room (black mailing me basically). Disgusting way to treat guests ,and just kept saying you only paid for a cheap room (this is not a cheap price in Sri Lanka believe me). If this incident had not occurred I would have been kinder with the review as we really enjoyed staying in the new room.

• Christopher (6/5): Pleasant - Good location- the beach is just the other side of the road! Also its close to shops, restaurants etc. Staff were great, helped whenever we asked. Room itself was good, balcony overlooking small woody garden area was good- saw a fruit bat in the trees one evening! Alex the dog also was a great addition to the place. We had a huge mosquito problem! The net around the bed probably saved our lives! The venue did try to help with bug spray, but they kept finding a way in.. we chalked up about 40 over 2days!

Every day we woke up to what we think is termite poop on the bed. When it rains it leaks through the balcony door. The shower is cold and the bathroom window doesn’t close so this allows lots of bugs to come in.

• Sabrina (8/5): Nice hotel with a perfekt location in Mirissa - The accommodation is located directly opposite the beach, which is really nice. It is located on the main street of Mirissa where there are many stores and restaurants. On the balcony (3. Floor) you have a very nice view of the beach and the sunset. The room and the bathroom were very clean. We had an AC in the room which was nice. The family and people working in the hotel were very nice. As it is located directly at the Main Street ist was a little bit load sometimes. The surrounding of the hotel is a construction site, which also made it a little difficult to find the hotel. The hotel is also not listed on Google Maps, but in Apple Maps. However, you can find the hotel under the name Flora and Fauna.
• Phil (9/5): Fabulous Place for the money! - The room was really big with a balcony overlooking the ocean, it was super clean and had a fridge, A/C Hot water etc and the staff were lovely. The value for money is excellent and it's located centrally and directly opposite the entrance to the beach. Tours including whalewatching/fishing etc are available to book from reception. As with many hotels the higher up you go the better the view, although it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, my only issue was the noise from the busy road which runs between the hotel and the beach. Traffic starts very early and finishes pretty late.
• Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely liked everything about Seashore Mirissa Hotel. From delicious dining option to cozy rooms with stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations.
