Guest Reviews
- Louise (10/5): - We liked how comfy and welcoming the house and host was, always quick to message back. Only small issue, not any fault of the owners was very loud road and joining neighbours had music loud from 5am in morning but as I say not the owners fault
- Alyn (5/5): Not the best! - We were able to get access slightly earlier than the official check-in time. The property had the correct number of bedrooms for our requirements and the beds were clean and comfortable.
It was relatively close to the City Centre. The address is actually Broomfield Road rather than Place so our Uber dropped us about half a mile from the property and we then had to use Google maps to find it.
The property is in quite a run down area, and does not have any kerb appeal. Living areas are quite small for a 4 bedroom house. The stair is really steep with very short treads. Had to be very careful especially coming back down. One bedroom has a plug socket hanging off the wall and another has a light fitting that sometimes comes on and sometimes doesn't. Would suggest that the wiring requires investigation and repair. Generally, the place is in a poor state of repair with dirty bathrooms/shower unit etc. Decoration is tired and quality of fixtures and fittings is not good. Upstairs bathroom has no working lock on the door. The toilet seat does not stay up and slides from side to side on the pan.
The property next door which had a boarded up front window disturbed us until after 2am with loud music.
All in all a very disappointing stay. The property did not live up to the impression given by the photos.
- Harry (10/5): - Confused about how to get into the property
- Kirsty (9/5): Very good - It’s was comfortable , homely and just was just what we needed it for .
- Gail (8/5): Lovely house, host communicated well with clear instructions. - Great sized double bedrooms, there was 4 of us on a business trip Unfortunately the first night neighbours had a party till 3am - so not much sleep at all.
- Natasa (9/5): Comfortable place - We liked the size of the house, four large bedrooms, two bathrooms, location (close to the University Warwick and a few historic places), WiFi, smart TV, heating was working well, corner shop opposite the house, parking onsite. The kitchen was a really good size with appliances but the very few pots and pans were unusable (rusty inside) and there was not enough cutlery for eight people. I brought a pot and baking trays from home so we still managed well but in such a lovely place, it would be great to invest into a basic pots and pans set, cutlery and a few baking trays. The table can sit 5 at a push and there was not enough extra chairs. So a small extendable table would be a good idea. Saying that, we really liked the house and would gladly recommend it and stay there again.

- Safrizal (9/5): - Comfortable and clean. Location near to the city. Shops and eateries opposite the property. Parking available on site/roadside but due to number of residents and patrons of the shops nearby, was a bit difficult to find. Backyard could do with better/proper upkeep.
- Ineke (9/5): - great location. walking distance to city centre.
Roomy bedrooms, all with double beds.
Two decent bathrooms in the weekend, there is a lot of noise from the pub. Also, if you park the car outside the house, it could get scratched by drunken people leaving the pub. Use the drive, even though it is not huge.
No dishwasher.
House was warm, turn the heating down.
- Gary (9/5): Great stay just what we were after - Great property close to shops pubs etc
- Kenny (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place
- Maria (7/5): Good - Clean towels & bedding The bathroom was dirty, with lots of cobwebs and a broken floor tile. Sink around taps very grimy
- Liam (10/5): Would stay again - Very accommodating owners and good communication N/A
- Michelle (8/5): Broomfield Place is just a 15 minute drive to the NAEC Stoneleigh - The property is light and spacious inside. The bedrooms were much bigger than we were expecting. It was easy to find and access was fairly easy. Brilliant shop across the road with almost everything you may need. The information pack had a digit missing on the password code for the WiFi and maybe information on how to turn the heating on would be helpful to be included in the information folder too. There was a sticky patch on the floor in front of the fridge and the shower screen in the downstairs bathroom was dirty on the bottom seal. The parking needs more info on booking.com, it’s a small driveway made even smaller by a number of bins lined up down one side. We were also blocked in the driveway by an unknown car in the evening, we discovered a “no parking” cone in the driveway which we weren’t aware of until after this incident.
- Ulla (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely stay for our three engineers. The place had everything they needed. Great communication too.
- Louise (10/5): Great and comfortable stay - Lovely property, very comfortable and the host is extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.
- Sara (8/5): Very good - Booked for men working in the area, they never advise what they like with a property only what they dont like and there were no complaints from the men staying. Took a while for the key code to come through after having to ask for it
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Clean house N/A
- Nuala (9/5): Superb - Location was fantastic. Near to town and to Earlsdon village with some nice shops and restaurants.
