The room included all the important amenities such as comfortable bed, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a television, a minibar and a clean bathroom. Everything was well organized and worked perfectly. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm, quiet, and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help.

• Frank (9/5): - We received vouchers for breakfast in a nearby café which was quite OK. Communication with the staff was by Whatsapp only. So we didn't have the opportunity to meet them. But communication was efficient and well in time. As a bonus we found a bottle of wine in the room. Thanks again - that was very nice.

We chose a large spinach pastry to take away for an excellent lunch in addition to our croissant for breakfast.

• Aylin (8/5): Für kurzen Aufenthalt sehr nett - Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Für eine Nacht war sie vollkommen ausreichend. Auch der Kontakt über WhatsApp war sehr gut und wir konnten am Abreisetag unser Gepäck noch im Flur lagern. Das Frühstück im Café außerhalb war ganz schön an einem belebten Platz. Es gab etwas wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten, außerdem war es etwas staubig, weswegen wir ständig niesen mussten. Der Duschvorhang ist unten etwas schimmelig.

• DennesRoes (10/5): - Calamùrn Ortigia is een bijzondere plek waar stijl, rust en de magie van Sicilië samenkomen. De accommodatie is prachtig ingericht met oog voor detail: elegant, comfortabel en met een warme, verfijnde sfeer die meteen indruk maakt. Gelegen in het hart van Ortigia bevind je je midden in een van de mooiste stukjes van Sicilië. Denk aan smalle straatjes vol karakter, barokke architectuur, het glinsterende water om elke hoek en een ontspannen, bijna tijdloze sfeer. Overdag verdwaal je in de charme van het eiland, ’s avonds geniet je van sfeervolle pleinen en heerlijke Siciliaanse gerechten. Calamùrn is daarmee niet zomaar een verblijf, maar een ervaring: een perfecte combinatie van een stijlvolle accommodatie en een betoverende omgeving die je nog lang bijblijft.
• Michaela (7/5): gut - sehr schön eingerichtet, neu renoviert, ruhig, super Lage Frühstück, ein süßes oder salziges Teilchen und zwei Getränke sind kein Frühstück. Das ist ein Witz… Die Dusche…. Duschwanne zu kurz, Fehlkonstruktion, Wasser läuft schlecht ab. Man flutet das halbe Bad beim Duschen. Wassertemperatur schwankt die ganze Zeit zwischen ausreichend warm und lauwarm. Der Duschvorhang ist etwas schimmelig. Würden die Unterkunft aber trotzdem wieder buchen.

• Anca (10/5): - Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber, und das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Jeden Tag kamen sie, um sauber zu machen, und nachdem sie gegangen waren, fand ich kleine Süßigkeiten auf dem Bett. Ich fand diese Geste sehr schön.
• Frédéric (8/5): Super endroit pour visiter Ortigia. - Hyper bien situé dans un immeuble typique. La chambre est très bien aménagée, on voit qu'on a pensé à à peu près tout. Malgré l'accueil via whats app et boîte à clé, les gérants sont hyper proactifs et réactifs dans leur communication. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas du tout à la hauteur. On reçoit un bon pour un "café" un peu plus loin. Là on a droit à un jus, un café ou thé et un croissant au choix. C'est tout. Ma fille voulait un chocolat chaud, mais ça n'était pas compris dans le prix. Bref dans ces conditions il ne vaut mieux pas indiquer que le petit déjeuner est inclus, car il n'est pas conforme au standard de qualité de la chambre. Je ne suis pas un grand fan de l'accueil virtuel, mais bon c'est dans l'air du temps.

Même si c'est Syracuse, beaucoup trop cher avec une SDB séparée de la chambre. Check in théorique 15h30 même si les propriétaires ont avancé de 30mn

• Javier (9/5): Un bon lloc per a estar-hi - Està molt ben situat. Vam poder deixar les maletes a la sortida i així poder visitar la ciutat més còmodament. El berenar és a la Plaça Arquímede, ben devant la font de Diana, lloc fenomenal. Molt silenciós i tranquil És complicat aparcar, vam deixar el cotxe a uns 20’ , fora d’Ortigia i potser s’ens va fer una mica faixuc arribar amb les maletes

• Stefano (10/5): Camera curata nei dettagli, posizione perfetta in Ortigia e colazione superlativa - Soggiorno splendido al Calamùrn Ortigia: l’host è stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile, anche per il deposito bagagli e altre richieste. La posizione è perfetta, comodissima sia per l’arrivo sia per muoversi a piedi alla scoperta di Ortigia. Camera con arredo curatissimo e grande attenzione ai dettagli. Superlativa la colazione convenzionata con il Caffé Archimede, davvero un plus che fa la differenza. Unica piccola nota negativa: l’insonorizzazione, perché quando dalle altre camere entrano o escono si sentono le porte sbattere, soprattutto al mattino presto o la sera tardi.

Communication with the host was very smooth, and accessing the accommodation was easy and hassle-free. Both the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. As indicated by the host, there is no parking at the accommodation itself, but just around the corner, right outside Ortigia, there is a large paid parking area where you can leave your car, which worked perfectly. In short: a wonderful place to stay, highly recommended! The only downside was that the walls were quite thin, so we could sometimes hear other guests.
